ALRIGHTY- it’s been a crazy past 24 hours for the Dreamzzz fandom so if you’ve just opened Tumblr and are confused, whether from inside or outside the fandom- here’s a summary of everything that happened:

So @user-without-a-cool-acronym made a post sharing leaks from the Litemods Discord (same guys who have been leaking a lot of Ninjago stuff) that allegedly contains all of the 20 episode titles and descriptions of S3. Fandom is not pleased with what this season appears to be based on this. Fandom panics a bit because what the hell some of this there is no way it could work.

THEN @fishgir12 makes a very good post detailing why she thinks the episode titles and descriptions are fake, possibly AI. Go check out the post for yourself but the highlight reel is that some of the titles and descriptions are inconsistent with information we have from official sources (so not a Discord server), and the descriptions just kinda read like AI. Fandom rejoices.

AND THEN TOMMY ANDREASEN GETS ON TWITTER-

Never a good start to a sentence but especially because he implied the leaks could be real (two separate fans asked about it and he gave the same response). Fandom panics again and is now attempting to decipher if Tommy is trolling or not because, let’s be honest with ourselves: that’s not outside of he realm of shit Tommy A. would do. Plus the earlier statement of major inconsistencies with official sources are still true.

So that’s where we are. Also while all this was happening @dream-bandit made a post detailing how one of the writers (who wrote some of the best episodes) was laid off after her (the writer’s) partner died. So really shitty stuff on whichever company’s fault that was (no clue who the writers at beholden to- Lego or WildBrain probs but idk).

It’s been a weird time but there’s your recap for anyone who wasn’t yet in the know. Thanks to all the lovely people mentioned in this post for the info they’ve spread around, y’all are great and amazing.

I haven’t been on tumblr properly for a few hours to avoid any leaks or spoilers, so I’m only just really finding out the fear mongering is becoming an actual thing now so

Don’t do that.

As someone who studied media for a bit i can confirm lego would not cancel Dragons Rising for leaks alone, as the viewership is still high since children watch the show more than teens and adults, and the fact that this is an inside issue, not an outside one.

The most they would do is hold back (NEW. Not yet DEVELOPED) episodes for a bit and not release any content until a few months have passed to get something going and a plan in place to fix these issues. Or there might even be an update about a new posting schedule or something addressing this issue entirely from like Doc Wyatt or lego itself.

They will not cancel dr for something like this with the way the story is going and how much money it actually makes them. Ninjago and dr itself is technically an ad made to promote their toys/legos, they’re not just gonna get rid of it, especially for an issue like this caused by themselves too.

Theres no need to put fear in people about this stuff when it’ll all be fine regardless.

Pushing the fear-mongering aside, also stop shaming people for watching the leaks. Its one thing to post about it and its another to watch it.

Theres no shame in being excited and watching it after all the hype, and especially if you’re watching it so you won’t get spoiled by losers who ARE posting about it unfairly. This is also coming from someone who hasn’t watched any of it yet, and it’s really a toss up if i do or not now.

Watch it if you want!! And if you do then you can not post about it and keep it with you and your friends, if you really have to post about it keep it under a cut and with proper tags please 😭

Lowkey, it’s not that serious for us. Lego and the creators for dr are probably handling the issue properly rn so this’ll be fixed soon hopefully.
