It isn’t always easy to say the most appropriate thing to our Little Legs in the moment when we’re frustrated, tired and just had enough but I promise it makes a huge difference. I certainly don’t always get it right I’m human but I really try hard to be careful what I say - especially ‘it’s ok to cry’ ‘it’s ok to be a angry... but it’s not ok to lash out, can you tell me how you feel?’ I find this picture really helpful as a reminder - but use my own version of the wording. Our parents were definitely feeling sleep deprived last week in baby yoga so we are running our class @thebotanist on Thursday 23rd at 10am focused on all things sleep for all of you!! We will be focusing on massage and yoga techniques specifically related to supporting baby to sleep. We will be singing some favourite sleep related songs. We will be using some lovely lullabies while playing a soothing nightlight and importantly some relaxing yoga poses and meditation for you parents too!
