failed ideas: i had this big concept of a prohibition era skeleton roleplay set in new york city where the skeletons were all inspired by characters from shakespeare and the greek & roman classics. it failed because i got scared of it flopping so purposefully never finished it so it could never flop... which is great logic clearly.

oofa doofa that sounds like EXACTLY the sort of thing I would be VERY into. those are like all my ‘hell yes’ buttons pressed at once. but boy can i relate to the idea of self sabotage. one time i write 30+ bios for a greek myth mob rp and then never promoted.

Rosalie Graham was an oxymoron of a woman with the name of a beautiful flower. She was more like a thorn with her tongue so sharp that she could make any man fall to his knees. Everyone in Small Heath knew not to mess with Rose or else she’d tear them apart without every laying a hand on them.

Well, that and her three older brothers would have no problem beating them to a pulp with, of course, help from the Shelby family.

The Grahams and Shelbys were always the talk of the small town in Birmingham. They only grew close when the three sons from both families went off to the war, all arriving home with a  darkness inside of them that could never be fully repaired. Their time in France brought them together in an indescribable way. They considered each other lifelong friends which carried over once they returned back to the filth of Small Heath. From then on out, the Grahams and Shelbys had each other’s backs.

And when a certain inspector was sent by Winston Churchill to retrieve a crate full of stolen guns, the Graham and Shelby families concocted a plan to expand both of their family business and to keep themselves a float with everything going on. Nothing was going to ruin their plan. Not even rising feelings from the woman with an oxymoron as a first name to the man who was blindly swept off his feet by a new barmaid at The Garrison.

Saw The Favourite the other night and loved it! The 3 female leads were phenomenal. I appreciate the certain cinematic techniques to tell the tone of the scene, and loved the humor along with real emotional beats. Also, I should have caught this moment as serious foreshadowing.
