if honey was anything, it was resilient. finding out that gilly was in hospital had been the straw that broke the camel’s back, though. her heart ached and she just longed to have them by her side. safe. the hospital had never been honey’s favourite place, but today was even worse. members of the savages and cobras littered the halls, whether they were injured or just looking out for their friends. it was an ominous place to be today. she didn’t know what to do with her hands. it felt so stupid, to be worrying about what to do with her hands at a time like this, but she couldn’t decide if she should bury them in her pockets or hold them in front of her. or maybe she should have brought something? hell, it had been years since honey had set foot in the hospital, she had visited the savages medics if she needed anything. she pushed the door open to gilly’s room gently and slipped inside. they looked so peaceful but so broken. taking a seat beside the bed, honey reached out and slipped her hand into theirs, tears welling up in her eyes. god, she had gotten so far without crying and now this was what would destroy her so easily? hell, gilly wasn’t even conscious, as far as she could tell. “i’m so fucking pathetic.” with a laugh, honey rested her forehead on the bed, pressing a light kiss against gilly’s hand. “please be okay.” if gilly was conscious, or if honey knew they were, she would never have said it. she had never said it to them before, but it felt like she needed to express it, her feelings for them were strong and she had suppressed them for so long. “i love you.”

leonardo had refused to leave gilly alone in the horrible hospital room he had put them in. he was running out of excuses to stay, sticking with “i promised your parents i’d take care of you” for the past three hours---- it sounded like a good excuse, and although it wasn’t quite true, it was a lie he didn’t feel bad about telling. the chair beside gilly’s hospital cot was incredibly uncomfortable, and leo was glad he had quite the experience with being in uncomfortable places. ❝ i think i’m gonna hit the cafeteria, do you----- ❞ the cobra turned his head to the side, words dying on his tongue as he took in his kid’s sleeping form. leo doesn’t notice the soft smile that blooms on his lips, instead simply standing up as quietly as he could, placing a short kiss on the other’s forehead; he’s incredibly glad when they don’t wake up, having no idea why he had done so in the first place. ❝ sleep tight, kiddo. ❞ leo whispered before turning his back to the bed and quietly sneaking out of the room.

She thought this would help. But too many familiar Savage faces can cause quite some uneasiness. Marcelline pays little mind to them, or as best she can. She wants to spend her night enjoying what mother nature has to offer, any plots for revenge could wait until the morning. She was able to score a red solo cup filled with wine from a local vendor, and Marcelline sips on through out her stroll, while she looks ahead, she notices a familiar face.

She makes no hestitation to approach him, which is a bit out of ordinary. She’s never considered him a friend, but, she is need of something familiar. “Vincent, hey,” the brunette greets, a faint smile rises on her lips.  This might have been the first time Marcelline is happy to him.
