Ya know, with the set ups I've been playing with, Roxy and Cassie are incredibly similar.

Both of them have been tasked with the impossible, both have had their loyalty pushed to the max, both of them have friends that betrayed them for one reason or another, both of them were left to die, and neither of them have many friends anymore...

Oh and both of them have a Helpi AI. Cassie's is just infected with Mimic/Glitchtrap/whatever. So there's that too!

My stupid thoughts on Help Wanted 2 (obvious spoilers below lmao)

ffffFFFFINEEE I like the game, and I don't mind GGY being POSSIBLY canon now. I love the fact that my boy GLITCHTRAP IS BACK!! (Still uncertain if he is Mimic, speaking of which...)

I still REALLY HATE THAT BITCHASS STUPID ASS ROBOT, but...I've reluctantly accepted as canon as well. I don't like it, I think it's still lame as an antagonistic force, and I'd much prefer it'd stay as Burntrap ONLY. If it ends up actually being Glitchtrap GODDD 💔💔 the AUs I'd have to rewrite...my personal canon ruined...Anyways, let's talk about GGY!

Uh! I guess I'm not disappointed! I have the many wonderful fnaf artists I follow (YALL KNOW WHO YOU ARE 🔥🔥) to thank for my newfound like in GGY (the concept, and surprisingly the story/other characters! I know I usually shit talk the books, but Tony and Ellis are super cool characters from what I know, maybe this'll mean I'll actually read the book eventually...maybe...👀) I'm still kind of sad that it is probably canon, now it gives people an excuse to hate on my boy more, which will totally suck (and I still think it makes him overly, well, overpowered. But hey what can I do huh??) (And I'm a little annoyed that he might canonical be patient 46) (or 47 I'm forgetting fnaf canon what is wrong w me)

And also, Cassie's new model! Uh, it's nice. I think it just kind of resembles a generic 3d animated character from some b-side studio tryna knock off Disney and be used as a babysitting film. (Specific I know) and it kind of matches Gregory's a little bit more now (BUT I'M HOPING THEY CHANGE THE OTHER HUMAN MODELS, not by a lot but enough to not look uncanny like their usual designs do)

Anyways gameplay wise, frightening (as is per usual from the fnaf vr games 😭😭) love helpy's and roxy's level. And also El Chip's, the Papa Louie energy of it definitely brings me back to my undying rage against my least favorite customers...fuck you X Twins (speaking of Flipline IM GONNA SEE IF I CAN GET PAPA'S PALETERIA I HAVE TO GET IT TO SUPPORT MY QUEEN LIEZEL and Zak too ofc)

Did we play as Mapbot?? Is this a thing now??? What???? (Time to watch the billions upon billions of theory videos that explain that it's actually some obscure loser from the books) (or Cassie's dad, speaking of which I'M ALMOST DONE WITH THE FNAF 2 KCI KIDS including Charlie, which will then leave the male fnaf characters, the afton kids, and other miscellaneous characters/ocs which includes my design of her dad)

SECURITY BREACH RUIN SPOILERS

Finally got around to watching a Security Breach Ruin playthrough, oh boy. That was a lot. Most notably in my own thoughts, or as many as I can pull out of my head right now-

• Obviously, so much more fleshed out and developed. I'm really happy SW was given all the time they needed to make this dlc, because it's just so so good, storywise and obviously in its gameplay compared to the unfortunate fate of security breach.

• Bonnie's Glamrock design had me screaming - there he was!! I love all the fanon designs for him don't get me wrong, his game design is just as refreshing and cool. The bright light blue in the main of him reminded me of Toy Bonnie (aka one of my favourite animatronics) and was a very nice colour to choose in comparison to purple, since that colour is mostly incorporated in Roxy's design now (and Aftons whole thing but ykwim). Brilliant!!

• ROXY. OUGH. I pitied her and liked the memes abt her that went around during the first game and her hatred for Gregory following into the new one (duh, wants her damn eyes back), but oh my god her whole thing with Cassie made me so sad. Surely your friends will show up this time!!! Number one!!! Twice!!!

• Not gonna lie, was very much expecting an ending where the mask gets permanently stuck on Cassies head and the AI Bunny(cant remember atm what ites being called lmao) just torments her for all of eternity. It struck me as really important that the mask had such an intrusive and physical method of use, and how Cassie is now permanently connected to the network whether she has it on or off, I thought they were going to do more with it in the endings. I know that the Brazil ending had Cassie using it to hide from her fate with the mimic, but that feels to me like its more about Cassie using it to escape rather than the reality of the mask now being specifically part of her. Not a complaint at all though, just my own personal thoughts and observations!!!

• The Mimic. Yeesh. Rip having to pretend to be Gregory of all people just to get out from a sinkhole, may I remind you the Mimic literally sassed Helpi in the first rid of the AI Bunny? Most in character line he managed to stitch together lmao (i have more to say abt it but I am too tired to try and write thst out rn)

• CANDY CADET. SOBBING.

• That poster up by the vents from BOWLING to FAZER BLAST being Freddy's poster for Bonnie? Cry. Legitimately made me tear up a little. I don't care what context people are choosing to frame their relationship in based on that "Love, Freddy" bit or what is actually confirmed canon (when do we ever get that in fnaf tho/j), they were programmed robots with a legitimate sense of care and affinity for each other and that is SO. DAMN. SAD.

• Follow up to that, DID SHUTTING DOWN ALL OF THE CUTE LITTLE YELLOW SIGN BABIES RELEASE BONNIE'S SPIRIT OR KILL IT? Regardless, those glowing eyes from his body in the secret bowling area had to mean something. Imagine being destroyed like that and having your soul trapped in your immovable body, waiting for who knows how long for someone to evem find you...

• Monty's story? Both don't trust it or Monty at all and still feel kinda a little bad for him. Going on the principle that he's had the ability to feel since the beginning too makes me worry for his possible character conflict when/if his full story if explicitly revealed. Someone gave him the ability to become one of the four, and still I don't think it was Bonnie despite the little art story. Monty might have been the one to destroy Bonnie to get there, but I think that hand with the guitar is symbolising that he had some kind of help along the way.

• Was kinda hoping Chica was gonna get more of a fleshed out backstory but its fine, she got her bits and thats okay! What was with the voice box bit??? Her minigame looked like fun tho lmao

That's most of what I feel like bringing up for now. Overall just a solid, banger fnaf game that I absolutely now just regard as its own installment completely seperate to Security Breach. Finally getting back into the swing of things. Cant wait for what's next!

So some Thots™ on Ruin:

Something is super fishy with that normal ending; why go to all that trouble to save Cassie if he's just gonna off her in the end? I feel like some of what he said was true, like the stuff about M.X.E.S. (what does that stand for, anyways?); but in general, I just don't think that that's Gregory. We have no proof. And is that really Roxanne that we hear at the end, or is it the Mimic trying to lure her out in case she survived a fucking elevator dropping??

(Also lmao at everyone thinking that the Mimic was bullshit when it was actually 100% true, at least in some capacity. Don't worry, I know we're all embarrassed whenever MatPat turns out to be right- in his defense, tho, for at least FNAF, the story is already so convoluted that his theories feel mostly sane by comparison...)

I do wonder about the V.A.N.N.I. system. (I've already forgotten what that stands for...) Helpi in particular is a bit of a mystery, himself, since he seemed increasingly corrupt as time went on.

The bit with the Candy Cadet foreshadowing the ending was actually kind of clever. Like, towards the end it was kind of obvious, but his tale was really the nail in the coffin.

What the fuck was up with those mascot costumes? Why were they there; where did they come from?? And why was there a SCOOPER down there to begin with???

Poor Bonnie; it feels kind of rude for them to show us this and not have any kind of follow-through. Especially since he didn't even look damaged enough to be irreparable; something about that kind of stinks. It feels like they did things this way on purpose; Monty very obviously was the culprit, and someone obviously wanted him to be in the band- I don't think Monty himself had any particular aspirations until someone literally put it into his head that he did. I suppose he might've already been jealous of Freddy; it wasn't Bonnie's position that he really wanted, and therefore I don't think attacking him was his decision. This was all a setup, and Bonnie was a casualty. I suppose it's still possible that some spare parts of his were used by the mimic, much like how everyone believed it used Bonnie in his entirety.

Apparently you can fix Chica in the game; or rather, you can give her her voice back. I don't really know the steps to facilitate this since the no-commentary playthrough I watched didn't do this. That said, it doesn't really seem to do anything; all that happens is a brief jumpscare before Chica powers down again- idek why she was powered down in the first place. Maybe this is supposed to have dividends further down the line? Another bit of DLC, maybe?

Cassie seems to have a much more sympathetic bent towards the animatronics- at least, everyone but Monty. (And I guess Bonnie, since she doesn't really seem to have anything to say if you manage to find him.) She also mentions something about the FazWrench looking like her dad's; I wonder if her dad used to work for the company.

The bit with Roxanne came a little out of nowhere, but in retrospect, there were hints towards as much- mostly in Roxy Racers, where those weird cutouts would appear in AR mode. The first one you see alludes to her relationship with Roxanne (I am guessing that Roxy is her favorite animatronic, much like Freddy is Gregory's), and the second alludes to her relationship with Gregory- possibly even depicting how the two first met. Its second form seems to reflect her current state; apparently Cassie cared about Gregory a lot, though it's unknown whether or not this friendship was largely one-sided like the normal ending would somewhat suggest.

It's interesting how Cassie's mere presence seemed to loosen something up in Roxanne's mind, putting her in an almost robotic (heh) state, which is unusual for the animatronics- maybe. We don't actually know what they're supposed to be like outside of the virus, and Freddy himself feels heavily like an exception. When she catches Cassie by the arm and Cassie shrieks at her to let her go, she becomes apologetic and confused, before hesitantly muttering about an error. It's possible that when Cassie finds her again (having somehow wound up stuck under a forklift), something in her mind has been a bit scrambled, and she latches onto the first thing she remembers when she "sees" Cassie (I wonder about that honestly). She natters politely about the things she remembers, and asks after Cassie, still in the mind of cheering her up even in her altered state. In AR, she repeatedly "smiles" at Cassie... which makes it even sadder when Cassie performs the deed and sticks the wrench into an eye socket, Roxy's AR form reflecting fear and sadness as she (still so politely) asks what Cassie is doing, only to natter once more about carrot cake, as if she's still not quite present. When she shows up again out of the blue (and how she does this is a mystery), her voice is once again somewhat emotional, as she urges Cassie to run. It's hard to tell what's going on after that, what with Maybe-Greg's and Cassie's conversation happening at the same time, but it sounds almost like her voice switches in and out of that weird sort of "customer service" daze. At the end of the normal ending, you can hear her say Cassie's name again in that same tone of voice... but, it's hard to say for sure whether that really is her.

There's a theory that the Freddy you run into in Fazerblast might not be the one we know, given the writing under one foot that appears to read something like "prototype". It still is a mystery how he lost his head, and if he isn't Freddy per se, where the "real" Freddy has gone. Perhaps he is the "friend" that Maybe-Greg mentioned; that could also be Vanessa, though... or Vanny. We don't really know what happened to her, after all. There are in-game comic pages, but since the playthrough I watched didn't look at them (and I have no idea how many there technically are anyways), I don't know what they show us; supposedly though, it rules out several endings to the main game as canon, and introduces a few questions in general.

Where was DJ Music Man? With his size and strength, you'd think that he'd be both hard to miss, and unlikely to stay buried for long. And why are there so many Mini-Music Men around? Wasn't there only supposed to be just one?

glup shitto (obscure fave): Plushtrap. not necessarily as like. his own character or anything but i think in the context of fnaf 4 plushtrap can hold some really interesting metaphorical weight. like... youre playing as the son of a serial killer, and there's a part in the game where you can be spared some torment if you're able to perfectly anticipate the movements of a monster??? Hm.

I know a lot of people were Big Mad about it and thought it was reversing all his character development from HS, but personally i found him really grating in HS and really compelling in HS^2. Like. idk realizing/deciding that the thing that will save your whole universe is someone needs to be a villain and youre the only one really qualified to do it, salvation through damnation, i will martyr myself by never letting anyone know im a martyr. its good shit. i love that.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): I really love Eridan and I really love Equius but i also wanna put them each in a jar and shake them around

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): I hate Caliborn, and not in a fun haha way but like he genuinely made me so uncomfortable that I stopped reading Homestuck for like 9 months.

because of the FNAF 6 location fire, El chip and helpy get scared around open flames (cause it reminds them of their deaths), those poor dears are afraid of fire (the rest of the fire damaged animatronics from the FNAF 6 location got put into storage after the fire was put out, also El chip tried to protect helpy during the fire)

Ah now that brings up a fun problem.

Roxy is a pyromaniac. Just loves fire. Can and will sit there and play with a lighter for hours. The fire alarms are never broken in the Plex because she does the checks by watching a bin go up in flames.

El Chip and Helpy watching her gleefully test the fire systems and they can't decide whether they're scared, concerned or if they should stop her.

Helpy: WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! Roxy: It fun :)

On the flip side, maybe creating controlled fires becomes very cathartic to one of them and Roxy gains an arsonist buddy. You never know!

Which makes it really funny when Roxy needs help. She has her own Helpi Helper AI assistant and he just fucking. Calls the VANNI mask like a mobile phone. He gives it a ringtone and makes it vibrate and everything, the mask is just a VR phone now lmao

Suspicion never fully goes away though. Cassie: "Is this a trap?" Helpi: "What?? No! She's literally three rooms away!" Cassie: "Mhmmm... I bet that's what all the Helpi's say." Helpi: "YOU TWO ALREADY KILLED THE MIMIC WHAT ARE YOU EVEN ACCUSING ME OF BEING?!" Cassie: "Mmmmmmm fiiiiiiiine, I'll go. But if I get there and die, I'm gonna kill you." Helpi: "That is impossible... But noted."

The mask is like if the Fazwatch was a reformed murderer. Fucking spahooky, but harmlss now and very handy!

Oh yeah the whole thing where Roxy has her own Helpi assistant installed and the whole Carnival thing? Roxy ends up doing a Markiplier and starts hitting the Helpys in the Bonk-A-Bon game. He gets on her nerves and WHAM she has an excuse to hit him. But also when she accidentally hits him she yells at him like GOD DAMN IT HELPI WHY'D YOU DO THAT?!

Helpi wishing there was a Whack-a-Roxy game but since there isn't, he just gets to be kinda annoying on purpose to piss her off in return lmao

helpy as a arsonist despite having a fire phobia? i blame roxy for that. also, gregory and the 5 robot kids (helpy and the 4 lil music men) working together and causing all sorts of gremlin mischief is hilarious.

Roxy gets the joy of 'testing' the fire safety systems every so often and what better way to do that then to start a fire? Best cure for depression? Fire! Cold? Fire! Can't sit still for shit? Watch the fire!

El Chip and Helpy are initially, very understandably, afraid of the crazy wolf with the collection of lighters she and the Mini Music Men steal from guests find lying around, but Helpy discovers it's actually kind of cathartic to turn something that once destroyed you beyond your control, into your play thing. However, unlike Roxy, Helpy learned how to put the fires out first and how to start them later.

Roxy just accidentally started a fire one day and just got totally absorbed in watching it until someone else put it out and well. The rest is history.

Helpy gets a special lighter of his own as a gift from her and you wanna know what it looks like? This.

It's his favourite lighter ever.

And yeah all the kids banding together is something to be feared. They don't often do it, but when they do holy fuck you better run. Lmao

Wally would make sense if they'd seen Wall.E but that's probably not a Fazbear property. I'm sure all of them would love if if they saw it. Wet Floor Bots are now known as 'our little Wall.Es' I think after that one lmao. Only other Wally I know is the one from Where's Wally? books but I doubt they wouldn't have a Fazbear version of that instead like Where's Helpy? or something

Buzzy is good! The Sidekicks AU one do be buzzing around a lot, hence the Bumblebee part of the name. I chose Spike because of a scene idea I have of Roxy spending some one on one time with them before introducing them to everyone else and giving them one of her spiked bracelets as a collar like hers. I just thought it could be a sweet moment where she names them because of just how much they love those spikes. In order to match naming conventions, she also adds 'Bumblebear' or 'Bumblebee' to it as like a last name sort of how her species is treated as her last name too. It has more meaning with context than without, ya know? Still subject to change though.

I also thought it would be a fun little interaction if Roxy kept throwing pronouns at it until it started responding to the ones it liked the most. I asked my mum what she would assume they were and she immediately called it a he so I'm leaning towards making them a she/her and they/them. Little guy wants to be differentiate itself from all the other ones of its kind!

helpy (being worried about his injured beaver friend) stayed by El chip's side until he came back online, he was so happy when El chip finally woke up, happy tears were shed in that reunion

Helpy was probably crying at seeing El Chip so wrecked in the first place too and possible over just... waking up again. Like, he had his death. That was supposed to be it...

And yet someone brought him back. He's gonna want to know why. The idea of being alive when you should be dead is probably something he's familiar with given what happened in his pizza place. Is he immortal now? Is he going to be like them?

Sounds overwhelming, before you factor in Roxy asking him questions like who he is or where he's from and if he's okay or the if the upgraded parts feel okay. Like, crying is probably a reasonable response to all of this.

El Chip coming back online would get them so many more tears for so many different reasons. Maybe given the situation, Helpy asks if El Chip can be reactivated without him. Just you know... to make sure El Chip has some time to process all of this for a minute before they add a tearful reunion on top of it.

On a funnier note I now have the idea of Roxy introducing Helpy to everyone but like... for a joke she said he was her new son just to see everyone lose their shit. It helped break the ice a little sewing a little chaos like that. Just a chorus of "What do you MEAN management built you a SON?!" lmao they get the truth and half of them are internally very excited because this means the new bear child doesn't have a parental figure yet and they're all in for a chance.
