It's Wednesday my dudes, and we're nearing the halfway point in this week's Takeaway. We've loved seeing the requests come in so far, and we can't wait to see more 😊 If you want us to write you a poem about anything at all, ping a request over! It's Mother's Day in the not too distant, and we're a dab hand at touching sentiments if we do say so ourselves! *কাকেদের মিটিং*

ছাদে চার পাঁচটি কাক এসে মেলা বসিয়েছে। কালো পোশাক কালো পাজামা, একেবারে গ্রাজুয়েশন সেরিমনি। শুনশান রাস্তা। সান্ধ্যকালীন গৃহবন্দী শহরে জমজমাট কোলাহলের পরিবর্তে রয়েছে পাহাড়ের নিস্তব্দতা। কোন এক গ্রামের দুপুরে ভাদ্র মাসের কাঠফাটা রৌদ্রে যেমন বাড়ির পাশের পুকুরটা চুপচাপ শুয়ে থাকে, পাতারাও আঁটোসাঁটো শরীরে লেগে থাকে গাছের গায়ে। মায়ে, ঝিয়ে দুপুরের বাসন মেজে একটু জিরোয়। একমাত্র দিশেহারা কুকুরগুলো গৃহস্থের ফেলা কাঁটা খাবে বলে এলোপাথারি স্বজাতির সাথে কানাকানি করে। দু, এক মুটে বা ফেরীওয়ালা তারস্বরে ডেকে যায়- থালা, বাসন, পুরোনো লোহা। কোনো গৃহস্থ বেরিয়ে এলে এক গ্লাস জল চেয়ে অমৃতের তেষ্টা মেটায়, আর যেতে যেতে বলে ভালো থেকো মা। তেমনি কাকেরা চেয়ে চেয়ে দেখে সন্ধ্যের শহরের নিশ্চুপ কানাঘুষো। এক মা তার বছর চারের মেয়েকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে দাদুর সাথে দেখা করতে। হয়ত বায়না ধরেছে। অস্থির কিশোর ভিডিওগেম ছেড়ে কাকেদের ছবি তুলতে ব্যস্ত বা হতে পারে মুঠোফোনের ওপারে বান্ধবীর আহ্বানে ছাদে এসেছে লুকিয়ে কথা বলতে, আর পায়চারীর ভান করছে। কাকেরা সবই বুঝেছে আর কাঁ কাঁ রবে কাকপড়শীদের ও সেকথা জানাতে দেরি করেনি।      যে বুড়ো দাদু রোজ তাদেরকে নিম ডালের লাঠি উঁচিয়ে তাড়াতে আসে, সেই দাদুও কেমন চুপ মেরে গেছে। বিকেল হলেই ঘর, বাহির আর রাস্তা। এই ত্রিকোণ ভ্ৰমন এই নিয়ে অন্তত দশবার হল। বারবার তার চোখ চলে যাচ্ছে তিনঘর পর বাঁকা রাস্তার মোড়ে। সেখানে সদ্য কালবৈশাখীতে ডাল ভাঙা আমগাছটার নীচে, সেখানে দাঁড়িয়ে আছে দাদুর বন্ধু। চা খাওয়ার সাথী। হাঁপানি আছে বলে ইনহেলার নিয়ে দুই বুড়ো অদৃশ্য ছোয়াছুঁয়ি খেলছে। এইসব কান্ডকারখানা দেখে অবশ্য কাকেদের হেব্বি মজা হচ্ছে। আবার দুঃখও হচ্ছে কারণ হাঁপানি দাদুর নাতিটা যে ওদেরকে 'দূরহটো' ভয় না দেখিয়ে পুষতে চেয়েছিল তাকে আর দেখতে পাচ্ছেনা। মনখারাপ করিসনা, এই বলেই হয়ত একটা কাক আর একটা কাককে গলায় ঠুকরে ঠুকরে আদর করে দিল। সেই দেখে পড়শী কাকেরা, অন্তত ছয়জন মিলে কলকল রবে কিসব আলোচনা করল সেসব ওরাই বুঝল। একটা দুটো কুকুরও গলির মধ্যে ঘোরাফেরা করতে করতে দুই মাস্ক পড়া ছেলের দুচাকা গাড়ির পিছনে ছুটতে লাগল। তাই দেখে আবার দত্তদের বাড়ির পোষা কুকুর 'ইয়েলো' বাইরে খেলতে যাবো বলে গৃহিনীর দু'পায়ে পড়ল। সাদা কুকুরের নাম ইয়েলো কেন তা জানেনা কাকেরা। বাইকের শব্দে, আর স্বজাতির স্বরেই যে তার কুকুরের এমন অকাল ছন্দপতন তা তিনি বুঝতে পারলেন, নাহলে ওনার অমন সোনারধারা কুকুর হঠাৎ করে অমরীশ পুরী হয়ে যায়? বোঝামাত্রই বাইকবাহিনীকে হামানদিস্তায় সুপুরী ছেঁচার মত এসপার ওসপার ছেঁচে বললেন- এদের জন্যই জীবনটা শুকনো সজনে ডাঁটা হয়ে গেল। ঘরে দত্তবাবু একথা শুনে বুঝতে পারলেন না কথাগুলো কাকে বলা হচ্ছে। আর এক কাপ চা হবে কিনা পরে সেই আশঙ্কায় চুপ করে গতকালের কাগজ পড়তে শুরু করলেন অবেলায়। এঘর, ওঘর, এবাড়ি, ওবাড়ির জানালায় উঁকিরত বিষাদ মুখেরা বাতাসের ঠিকানায় কথা বলছে কিসব যেন। ভার্চুয়াল ভাষায় একজন শুধোলেন- খবর কি? রাস্তার অপরদিকে জানালা দিয়ে নৃত্যরত কিশোরী মুখ বাড়িয়ে বলল - খুব বোরিং। দোতলায়, তিনতলায়, বাড়ির সামনে, ছাদে সর্বত্র ভার্চুয়াল কথপোকথন হতে থাকল। কেউ বুক বেঁকাল, কেউ হাসল, কেউ কপাল চাপড়াল, কেউ মাসল দেখাল আর কুকুরগুলো ফিরে এসে গা ডলাডলি করে রাস্তায় শুয়ে পড়ল। ভার্চুয়াল কথপকথনে কার মেসেজ কার বাড়ী যাচ্ছে, কে কাকে উদ্দেশ্য করে কি বলছে সেসব কাকেরা বুঝতে না পেরে উড়ে গিয়ে পাশের পাড়ার কদমডালে বসল। সেখানে গিয়েও দেখে একই কান্ড চলছে। চুপ করে তারা গৃহবন্দী মানুষের 'যোগাযোগের' ভাষা পড়ার চেষ্টা করতে লাগল।
