Looking for some folks to RP with? Well, you’ve certainly come to the right place! The World of Essial roleplay is a very fleshed out fantasy world rp with 7 Kingdoms, 2 forests, 23 species including a handful of custom ones (Always willing to add more!), 8 custom religions, custom currency, and 9 languages. You can be descended from gods, you can be royalty! You can fit in with the stereotypes or you can go against the grain, you can play OCs or you can play characters from fandoms you’re in! The World of Essial has lore and a hard working staff team always adding more to it. Each Kingdom/Forest has it’s own category of individual channels, then we have a collection of Solo and Crack rp channels. All of the world info is in a category of its own, and we have Tupper to make roleplaying cleaner. While our server isn’t the most active right now, we’re hoping you can help with that! Despite our not-super-active status we have 2 active RP interactions happening as of the time I send this. If you have any questions, feel free to reblog, reply, send me an ask or a message! Welcome to Icarus!

IcarusSMP is a SCU-based MCYT crossover modded roleplay server, running on fabric 1.20.1. The server is 16+, and friendly to all playstyles and primarily focused on the roleplaying aspect!

The server lore is based on Slimecicle Cinematic Universe and EpicSMP, with multiple plotlines incorporating other projects related to the MCYT scene. Knowledge of a specific source isn’t required to get involved, and you’re welcome to bring any character related to the sphere! (We mean it — Minecraft server with a huge fanbase? Independent youtuber with a cool backstory? Your streamer’s DND oc who you miss SO dearly? That one character from that one-off thing that you swear people should talk about more. You get the picture.)

The overarching story is written by the organizer/DM, with tons of room for input, player-driven plotline, and interaction between characters. Roleplay is done through in-game voice chat, and consists of both casual + unplanned roleplay, and events planned and written by the DM.

like emm i think what i find a little jarring is the 15th century inspired fantasy DAO shifted to fantasy apex legends DAV :V I know a lot of years have passed since DAO yadda yadda but doesn't anyone else feel that each game exists in its own 'world'... even if there's a character who were on most games (morrigan) to remind us it's the same franchise 😂

I've just had to block so many blogs in the mcu rp tag 😭 it seems like its just one person tagging all of their interactions with themselves as mcu rp. I wouldn't mind, but there's not even any opens. It's all asks, and it's just FLOODING the tag, making it impossible to actually see anyone who wants to do like proper para rp 😭😭

I feel like, when it comes to shipping---outside of like, the canon established things, my brain really likes having multiple interactions to see if something clicks. Like, not gonna hold you--stuff like RadioApple and RadioStatic has like, extreme brain rot, especially the latter, but I don't really go for those sort of things by default, I guess?

That's not to say that I won't do ships in general but it's like...jazz hands

When I first started this blog many moons ago, I envisioned Clair and Whitney having a very antagonistic relationship because of Whitney's (unfair) association with the Dratini-selling Game Corner and their clashing personalities.

However, as I've fleshed out Clair's character more (and gotten the honor of writing with more fantastic Whitneys--hi @doubleslapped) over the years, I've totally changed course on this position. Clair now sees most of her Gym Leader colleagues in a favorable light (sorry Pryce), and Whitney is no exception to her perception shift. She views Whitney as a close friend, confidant, and often relies on the Goldenrod Gym Leader's sunny personality to get her through a tough day (or drag her out of her shell.) Sure, Whitney can be too much for the prickly tamer sometimes, but she has long earned Clair's respect, and that's an admirable feat in itself.

Whitney deserves her flowers. That Miltank is strong.
