Five Night's at Freddy's <- This was my first fandom! So it has a lot of nostalgia for me. I liked the movie, it was fun. Favorite animatronics are Foxy and Mangle bc I'm basic like that.

Gravity Falls <- Haven't re-watched it in a while but I still hold a lot of fondness and love for it. sitelen tawa ni li pona mute tawa mi (this show is very good from my perspective)

Cult of the Lamb <- I like this game a lot! I think it is very fun and I like the fanart that people make for it. I replay it alot bc ona li musi tawa mi (it is fun to me). #1 Shamura lover btw I would kill and die for them. if I was a character in the game I would be one of Shamura's disciples, just so we're clear

The Owl House <- When the Owl House was coming out Hunter got a chokehold on me and forced me into a hyperfixation on the show face-first.

Other Stuff

I am physically incapable of shutting up sorry (i am not sorry). Unless I get locked in gay tumblr baby jail (hit the post limit), then i shut up.

I have a queue running basically constantly that spits out a post/reblog every 12 minutes all 24 hours of the day (unless the queue has run out of posts. then it won't.)

As you could probably tell from the other sections, I know a little Toki Pona. My Toki Pona is not very good so please forgive me if I say something incorrectly. I may sometimes throw some of it in tags n such to practice.

(not maintagging this because I already know the Bendy tag has heard enough from me about the ink demons design in dark revival but I was just looking at the archives and have to share my thoughts)

Did they... Did they really try to make the Ink Demons beta model fit in the world of Dark Revival? Did they?

Because listen- they said that his previous designs during development made him stand out. My assumption is because he looked too cartoony but like... Tom, Boris, Alisson and Alice all look like that??? ESPECIALLY Tom and Boris. They haven't changed much (aside from a few scars and general wear n' tear added to Tom) and they both fit perfectly into Dark Revival.

If I'm gonna be honest the Ink Demons new model doesn't fit in dark revival (to ME)

If you didn't already know, you probably wouldn't even tell he's supposed to be Bendy. If you removed the bow tie and glove BOOM. That's not Bendy (again, to me)

Now I have no idea if those leaks of early footage with the Ink Demons beta model are real or not, but I haven't seen anything saying they're fake so I'm going to be assuming they're real.

Anyways, yeah! In the early footage he really does stand out, and he actually doesn't really fit in with the environment of dark revival! I mean, the footage itself is very low quality and hard to see but still, I can see what they mean.

But I feel like if a few small changes were added it would've possibly fixed it.

From the beta footage we can see that the model is very rounded. I feel like adding some edge would greatly improve it. Also, MAKE HIM MUSCULAR. Not jacked obviously, but a good mix between lanky and muscular

Just- *grabbing my head* I feel so ROBBED of what could have been... I really want to like thr new model and there's definitely some things I like about it (that lanky + muscular build I was talking about, the addition of spikes on his back and shoulders and the horns slightly pointing outward near the top adds some edge)

But... He just doesn't look like the Ink Demon. The Ink Demon is a bastardized failed attempt at a cartoon character being brought to life. Sure Ink Machines version isn't very scary, but it understood the assignment. That's a good "failed attempt" kind of design right there! I know for a fact if they leaned more into the possibilities of an uncanny look for the Ink Demon in dark revival they could have pulled it off. I know they could!

But no... They still stuck with their "Big and tough = scary" mindset, and we got something that looks waaaaaayyy too demonic to be a "failed attempt" of an easily recognizable cartoon character.

Oh wait- the reason he looks like that is because of the experiments Wilson did? Oh. Ok, that actually makes sense! I can understand and see it now! I still don't like the design, but at least they have an in game reason for why he looks like that and they aren't going to retcon his old design!

accusing random posters of sex crimes and trying to get them to commit suicide (as if), and seem to think anyone they interact rudely with will genuinely die(??). Just completely unhinged behavior. But if you want them to leave you alone you’re gonna have to block bc they have not left off my mutual who’s not even IN this fandom for days.

Yup yup! I blocked them already once it became clear they weren't just "trying to be playfully rude and overshooting", but genuinely like, shooting paranoid accusations at me.

Like I said elsewhere, I hope they get better, because I have to imagine this sort of paranoia spiral can't be fun at all. But just because that's the reason, doesn't mean I'll excuse it.

you know what i’ll never understand? 

how people get “oh you just hate Sean, you just wanna stir up drama, you don’t care. just leave!” out of people genuienly being heartbroken over what happened.

people are opening up about not feeling comfortable anymore, sharing their thoughts, sharing a piece of personal infortmation in hopes of people understanding them - but all they get is people telling them to shut up and leave.

some people speak so genuienly about these things, whether it’s in private or in their posts, it’s fucking heartbreaking. 

but people see these things and immediately say it’s just “tea blogs” and “discourse”. 

Sean himself even dropped the: “Just leave if you don’t like the content.” line.

which, yea i understand it - but if half of your community is crying over missing a person they trusted that doesn’t seem to listen to anything anymore, that’s not really the best choice.

i’d understand this defensive reaction if it was really just a few people being assholes, but lovely people that used to be passionate and trust Sean are opening up about their feelings and leaving. 

the community has significantly shrunken in size, and that also makes the actual bad apples way more obvious. 

the community didn’t become “less wholesome”, the community didn’t “turn into something bad.”

no, it got smaller because most of the amazing fucking people left with a broken heart and lost passions, so the real dickheads get the spotlight now.

everyone talks about “if you don’t like Sean, just leave!!” but it’s not like we all do this for fun, we don’t want to leave the community or stop supporting Sean. 

we didn’t wake up one day and decided to dislike what Sean does. 

this isn't a situation of: "oh, my interests are changing!! awh well!!", 

this is: " a person i trusted and felt comfortable with is turning into the exact opposite and doesn’t listen to us no matter what we try." - it is a brutal way of losing your interest, because it wasn’t even by our own choice.

and if a person that feels so fucking sad and disappointed about this turn of events only gets a slap in the face as reply from you? you don’t deserve to cry about the community being “less kind”. 

creators we’ve looked up to and admired, people that were always part of this community and people that brought genuine fun into these tags - all gone. but you all still just see this as people attacking Sean.

everyone really fucking loves to use the: “He’s just human!!” line, but don’t realize that “being a human” doesn’t mean you’re automatically allowed to make mistakes with no consequences.

Sean is human, yes. that means no one should rip him to shreds for mistakes, but we still need to talk to him. point them out. hold him accountable. 

people say we “attack Sean for every small mistake he makes” - and yea, we do point them out. but this is hardly an attack. Sean has been doing uncomfortable, weird shit left &right recently, so of course we speak up about it. 

from unneeded comments that were supposed to be jokes, to content that is uncomfortable to watch, jokes relying purely on NSFW stuff, Sean keeping some of his mods even after people pointed out shady shit they did, the whole editor fiasco he brushed under the rug for a while.

- people that loved Sean for years don’t trust him anymore. 

this isn’t people attacking Sean with malicious intent. this is people having hope that speaking up and getting through to Sean will change things again.

this is people with broken hearts struggling to talk to anyone without getting rough and disrespectful replies.

there are many people that still love Sean, so i’d really like them to imagine being in our position. having that person you love feel like a complete stranger, not being able to trust him anymore, not being able to sit through his content without feeling uncomfortable.

wouldn’t it make you feel the same? wanting to reach out to him and have your concerns heard?

you may not be affected by the things that upset many others, but you probably have things that would upset you instead. 

just because this doesn’t hurt you, doesn’t mean it’s not allowed to hurt others.

i see many people post in the main tags about how disappointed and angry they are at the “discourse” this community is causing, but their complaints in the maintags get comfort and love - while we get blocked and “called out”.

we’re doing the exact same thing, we share was hurts and upsets us. 

- but because it’s not sunshine and rainbows we get forced to shut up.

and i know people will try to tell me that “oh you’re allowed to complain!! just don’t hate for no reason!!” - i’m glad you think so!! that’s good!! 

but then fucking act accordingly.
