I decided during fhjy to try making braclets again and was inspired by Cait May’s incredible Kristen art to try and recreate some of their bracelets.

I made a lesbian one and a chevron rainbow directly based on the art of Kristen and the other loom rainbow one is my best approximation of another bracelet Kristen wears.

The last one is an Ankara and Casssandra bracelet, with some of the colours from the colour pallete of their art together. (because I love our lesbian goddesses.)

evil art style! my art style has quite a lot of range but I decided to default to chibis for this. I also didn't want to like, just draw one character bust up like i see most people do for it, so I wanted to come up with a way to show multiple characters on one page in an appealing manner

sonic drawing practice! I've been procrastinating this one because the lineart I've done so far on it is almost too good. I'm not sure If i can keep up the standard set

jame-joe doodles! really wanna keep developing this concept: I think it has decent potential! i don't remember how much I've shared about him but i don't think i've talked about it much beyond the base premise. Jame-Joe is inspired by characters like Dipper and Wirt, he's clever, is serious and studious in the pursuit of his goals, can be rather emotional and is prone to cowardice and insecurity, but can be determined when push comes to shove. I set myself up for a challenge here, as I want him to be expressive but limited by his doll body. It's a fun challenge though!

more 'i should start an etsy' drawings. i've seen people make like 'gacha blind bag' keychains and thought of the idea of those with aimaina-chan designs!

fdanfsdjk I almost feel bad for spoiling this one because I'm so excited to share it!!!! But i guess the sorta person to read through this post probably don't mind spoilers lol. I realized 'Timmy's a 2000s kid' and decided to go ALL IN on that. I dug deep into my memories and decided this kids going to need rainbow looms, slap-wraps, silly bandz, and those rubbery braclets where theres one white segment and one black segment and i have no clue if this is true but when i was a kid everyone always said the white segment was snow from mount everest and the black one was like sand from the bottom of the ocean. anyway! I had so much trouble wiht finding the right shade of pink that if i go trhough making a youtube video on these designs you guys will definitely here my color theory rant.

I gave him a fnaf shirt also, i dived deep into my brain as asked myself 'what graphic t-shirt from hot-topic would timmy turner wear' and i decided on fnaf because i think it's funny. so far these extra outfits have been going up in the amount of projection I'm doing. It started with spongebob's sweater vests, continued with Dannys stereotypical-transmasc fits, and now I'm lowkey just drawing stuff I've worn (actually danny's fit with the flannel I've def worn before but like, i assigned timmy a sanrio character(i gave him keropi because it's an easy way to incorporate green accents into his design lol)) anyway!!!

i had 'i want it that way' stuck in my head again and turned to queeries he proceded to give me the solution of chipi-chipi-chapa-chapa. this was not a solution obviously but whatever. i decided to use my new problem to animate myself dancing. sure. why not. if I upload this to youtube i think i should title it 'me at the function' of course i don't actually go to any functions so perhaps 'me when i' would be more fitting

Ok tumbler, I know I'm 16 days late but tumble hasn't been working. I came up with an awarness project for autism acceptance month. I'm calling it the red bead project. There black and white bracelet with a red bead in the middle. I used loom bands but whatever works. The black bands represents visible parts, the white represents the invible parts of autism, the black and white together represents how some neurologicals and even some allistics this autism is a black and white type of thing. The red bead is because the color chosen for autism acceptance month by autistic individuals.

If you can read this good, I know my hand writing isn't that good😅 the goal of this isn't for money but a show of acceptance, wairing the bracelets is simply just a show of support for autistic individuals. The nice thing about braclets is you can make them yourself and use your perfered material(loom bands, beads, ect.) as long as it has the colors of course. I've made around 30 braclets and probably given out 20. If you like the idea please tell people about it :]

How did you learn to sew plushies? Do you use a pattern or make them yourself? Why are you so good at this?

Short answer: I learned from really good patterns (Cholyknight has a BUNCH of free patterns and even more paid patterns that are AMAZING to learn from) and learned to make my own patterns by combining what I learned from her patterns and my own history of designing crochet plushie patterns. Very long answer: I have to go back like fifteen years to when my grandma was staying with us for what felt like weeks but was probably like ten days max. I was a very inquisitive child who could only be pacified by reading (which I could do indefinitely without moving) or learning something, especially how to make something, so my grandma taught me to hand sew. We made a tiny vest for a teddy bear, and she let me watch her sew me a cloak and talked me through the whole thing. I remember none of it but still have the cloak.  Fast forward to about seven years ago, when my other grandma was in town for a wedding and stayed with us for what actually was weeks. She taught me to knit and crochet, which led to all my amigurumi, which led to an understanding of shapes and especially the component shapes of stuffed animals.  Skip to about seven months ago, when my stash of fabric that I’d been impulse buying from remnants bins at craft stores reached critical mass and I googled “free plushie patterns” and found Cholyknight’s website. At the time, all I knew about sewing was how to thread a needle and like the physical mechanic of “you put the needle in one side and out the other, pull the thread through, then put it back through the fabric the other way and repeat”. The basics of hand sewing are really, really easy. The difficult part is making the stitches small, even, and where you want them to be, and even that isn’t that hard if you go slow (and draw lines on the wrong side of the fabric to follow if you want to). The patterns I used were extremely well written, so I learned how plushies are pieced together, what seam allowances are, how to sew darts, how to baste, etc, all from that first pattern.  About three or four months ago I learned how to use a sewing machine and a few weeks after that I learned how to use it correctly and ever since then my plushie production has sped way up. Ever since I started sewing, immediately after the first plushie I made, I’ve been making my own patterns. They have varied a bunch in complexity, but I think my skill in pattern making is less about being able to draw things that form the 3D shape I want and more about recognizing how shapes fit together to make the thing I want, and remembering things I’ve already made and what the patterns for that shape looked like. My whale shark pattern came about because I looked at my frog plushies and said “Hm. If I make this longer, the butt of the frog is the same shape as a whale sharks head” and then I traced the wider part of the frog pattern and extended it and voila, whale shark pattern soo...tl:dr: I learned from Cholyknight patterns, I use a mix of her patterns and my own, and I am good at this because A. I have been accidentally amassing a skill set that supports this skill set my entire life B. I am completely unafraid of making mistakes with plushies and C. I was super SUPER lucky in the supplies I was just flat out given (some by my grandma, some by my mom, and some by the nice lady at the local quilt shop who gave me three big bags full of “scrap” minky that was too small to make quilt backing with but sometimes was like a full yard)

Bimbo reader x Eddie where she makes him charm braclets, necklaces, ect. He totally has a jewelry box full of stuff shes made for him. I also like to think she makes girly band merch for his band so she has stuff to wear to his show that's more her vibe and she has to make doubles otherwise he'll just steal hers

And she makes sooooo many that Eddie has a full selection for what he wants to wear that day. Just picture him with a bunch of bracelets on his arm bc he can’t decide… I’m weak :0

She totally made him a necklace with like a bunch of charms that represent stuff in their relationship. Like there’s a Ferris wheel, the dates of their official and unofficial anniversary, her birth stone, her name, and a heart.

He REFUSES to take that necklace off.

And the band merch. Sparkly pink Corroded Coffin crop top when? Dw she’s crafty she’ll make her own. (And an extra for Eddie, Eddie in a crop top! Eddie in a crop top!)
