I stood there as steve got his last good wishes from his team mates. I stood back watching tears in my eyes. I knew he only had a certain amount and im thinking back to the cinversariin we had after it was decided hed be the onky to return them

"Why do I feel like theres a but comming"

"There is" he took my hands, "sweeetheart even tho hank pym is back theres still that adjustment period everyone is going through and he csnt make more pym particles right now"

"Cant you wait? Time will always be there for you to return it?"

He took my palm, like he does when he's  nervous and subconsciouslybdraws the same patterns he always does when he looked down.

"Yes and no. You see the way that Strange explained it is that time will continue on  and yes and while we can wait the stones not being there is affecting us here and now as in the past they arent there.  I could wait but if simething happens," he swollows hard, "something to you. I cant lose you."

"You dont know that!" Hw yells and i jumo back almsot in tears.

Steve looked uo with tears in his eyes and nodded.

This garners a chuckle from Steve.

I looked up i could only see the side if his cheek really but it was like i could see him go pale.

I pulled back a little and I whipesmone side of tears from my face and he whipped the other putting his hand on my chin and guiding it making sure I can't move away as he knows how scared and fearful i must me and he looked in my eyes .

I let out a small chuckle with some tears.

"You know that right? That i love you. I love ypu more than anything. And ill always come back to you. Like a bad oenny you cant losemor that cat that never stopped following yoy home,"

On cue Midnight jumoed into our laps with a meow and using her head to burrow under steves tee for warmth like she always did garnering a laugh from both of us. I pulled away a but as steve took iut of hisnshirt and talked to her 

"Youll take care off mommy right?" 

"Take care of me why woukd she need to-" I statted bawling

"Oh honey no no no i didnt mean it oh no " he put Mid night down and grabbed me chuck and tight, so tiggt i almost coukdnt breathe. "Wrong words blvery wrong words. I meant if something haooened. Lets face it i don't have greay track records when it comes to saving the world. The first time i dissapeared for decades and I don't want that to happen my last time but im afraid of tha-"

"Last time?"

"Yea," he rubbed my arms comfortly "my last time, the world doesn need me not as much as you do. And i want to give thst life yoy want because i want it too. I see the longing in your eyes when yoy see a young couoke and a baby and i have the same in mine that wishing hoping dreaming. During these five years people havent needed me and ive been wnlanting to give it uo for a while now justtrying to figure out the best way to do it and yiu know ive been slowly limiting my cap duties."

I know,

I know yiu do. So after this i want to give you that. That family a real family a couoke of mini us's." He interlocked our fingers wispering "I hope to God they look like you".

I chuckled. "Once I return the stones uts you and me babe every day forever no interruptions. Ill be in that bed every day yoy wake uo and every night you go to sleep. Ill hold yiu hair back wvery morning sickness and yoy can try and break a finger or two or try to lift molojiner when youre giving birth."

That made me laugh

"Ill hadle the night and change every littke poopy diaper and we'll hold them together wheh they get thier shots and bad dreams. Ill help you kiss thier boo boos and scare away boyfriends"

He rubbed my wedding band and engagement ring as we calmed down for a moment of silence. 

You know I would never give you either of these if my heart bekonged to someone else, in another time or place. This wasnt because i was never, " he losed his eyes and sighhned then ooened them stuck here. I was here to find you. I felt more for you then I did her even at first look - i almost proposed."

I know  i rememeber yoy did not try and cover well for that *i laughed*

"Yea so badly' I laughed and  ran my fingers through his hair.

"I grew it out for you, ya know"

"I know. I cant wait to see how blonde it was from when it was in the early days of the avengers"

He chuckled. 

"I love you," he wispered and kissed the bridge of my noise

"I love you," he wispered ad kissed the other cheek 

"I love you," he wispered and kissed my other cheek bone.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed my fore head.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed fhe right side of my upper neck.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed my lips.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed the left side of my upper neck.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed the middle of my neck.

"I love you," he wispered and kissed my lips so very deep that i almost lost my brrath. And that was how that night went. Him showing his love he knew he didnt have to prove it but he did he heled me and kissed me anddid everything he wanted to so to make sure he felt like he knew i knew he loved me and more. That was how last night went too. The last night before this trip. A trio that i knew would be mear seconds for me for for him it could be years. 

Then he walked over to me, he had tears in his eyes. Hia other team mates offered to come to help only ateve, i bruce and hank pim knew that wasnt possible. 6 vials. He had 6 and that was all. I was praying of somethin did go grong that last jump hed be able to grab more particles and get back to me. I also knew about the contingency they set up the older face the extra shield, just in case. So many just in cases. It meant to be steves way of dissapearing so we could live aort of loke clint and tony away from the spotlight and danger. 

He hugged me again, wispering in my eqr Ill be back in seconds my love and i love you so much," i felt a tear fall from his face onto mine

"Itll be only minutes babe, 60 minutes the most and youll be back in my arms." I gave him reassurance

"I  hope it works out like that nur every monute ill be thinking about getting back to you,"

He hugged me tightly. "I love you. And those seconds that pass here i told bucky to not let go of your hand,"

I chuckled.

"I know you. You need a hand and he wont let go. But if you two kiss i will kill him"

I laughed what?

"I just wanted to see that smile before i go"

Get your ass back here and ill give yku something to smile about tonight.

Oh is that a threat 

"Oh no that promise," I smiled wrapping my arms around his neck and we looked into eachothers eyes and then he kissed me. 

"This ring isnt leaving this chain and this chain isnt leaving my body"

"I know" 

He took my hand as he walked up to the platform and I followed. He took his stance snd gave me one of the deepest longest kisses hes ever given me. 

"I love you dont forget im waiting right here no matter what you do to retrurn those im here loving you forever. "

"I know I promise ill come back no matrer what i love you too much." 

Steve gave me one last kiss on my lips and then a kiss behind me ear making me giggle 

"I needed to see and hear that one last time."

I felt bucky take my hand and lead me down the strairs steves and my eyes never leaving eachother's. He looked at me as he put the helmet on  and I squeezed Bucky's hand as Steve lifted his hand to presse rhe vutton and bucky squeezed mine as Steve dissapeared.

After 45 seconds my hand let go of Bucky's  but Bucky bevee ler go of mine.

Another late night of hanging out with her best friend from games and fun, meant another night she spent crashing on the couch in the living room. This was her home away from home. One place, that Sabryna had made herself well at home. To the point she has bought her own mug that she snuck into their kitchen so she wouldn't make accidently drink from Amar's. Sabryna was an early riser for sure. If the sun is awake, she is awake.

Even to the point, where she would be up to encounter the mailman. So being the extra helpful guest that she was, she happily sorted out Keegan and Amar's mail. She froze noticing two identical letters, both grand and elegant. Now she knew it was a federal offence to open someone's mail, she rushes quickly, tripping on her feet in her hastiness. But this was a matter of fiction to reality. "Keegan! Keegan! Omg, you have to open this!" Sabryna was a lost for works as she held the letter up in all it's glory,"It looks like it can be....can't it?" Her words were vague but her bestie would get it the gist of what she meant.

A cold chill tingled down her spine, as she looked up at the towering Cerberus Corp entrance. Months of blood, sweat and tears had led up to this moment, yet all she could hear was her heart pounding in her throat. She swallowed hard, reminding herself the sacred oath she swore to herself during those strenuous nights. The moment she crosses the threshold, she can put to bed the life of Zaya Dolma and putting on her mask of Agent Flare, the one who was going to make history.

Picking her Agent name had been a rather simple process, it held everything that she wanted to embody; a quick flash that captured everyone's attention. She was here to make history, here to show everyone had to get shit done and how she was going to be number one around her. Anything lower would not cut it, after all that she had worked for. She took her first step forward

Agent Flare had entered the building.

With a purposeful stride, Agent Flare enters the room with an air of confidence that demands instant attentions. Her shoulders squared as she her head held high, displaying an effortless grace in each step. Confidence emulated from her like a palpable force, as gazes of everyone feel on her as she passed by. Whispers began to call louder, expected when a new face was on the scene but soon enough she would have them whispering about her utter brilliance. Briefly, a small smile crept on her face only to quickly wipe it away to hold a blank expression on her face, longing to keep everyone guessing what she was all about.

Nothing was going to ruin her immaculate entrance. Or so she thought....

Not all bad, all of these jobs had a fat payday and Hiroji is and always will be welcoming of that. His fingers, lately, have been getting itchy to try their luck again at the tables. The last spin had ... well, it didn't end well.

Running a hand through his hair, still darkly damp from a ostentatiously long shower that his assistant had, wisely, left uninterrupted, Virgil all but limped his way toward the galley. Where Reyhan had, apparently, been welcomed to start on brunch without him. It wasn't that he'd forgot they were coming by the marina today. He'd just been entirely unable to sleep, still, even with the usually soothing creak and roll of the deck - of his yacht, moored, for the season - to help him along. What was that, now? Going on two weeks and altogether he'd got fewer hours of real rest than he had fingers? Christ.

But. The show had to go on. Rey knew that, only too well; hopefully they'd be a sympathetic audience. With an apologetic sweep of his arms, Virgil summoned a smile. "So. Are you early - or am I late?" Both seemed plausible, but. He flicked the question aside, unanswered, as he took his seat at the breakfast table. "Don't tell me, actually. Meant to be extricating myself from itinerary-based living. Doctor's orders." Yes. Had to mind his stress. "I won't even check the time. Progress." That edge-of-winter sky billowing beyond the windows wasn't giving him any hints; the light of it was harshly, barely grey, a cold sort of searing. Or maybe that was just his fucking eyes.

Virgil looked into the bottom of a vodka and orange instead, eager to wash down the taste of his morning dose of whatever the hell Cerberus had him taking these days. Better. Marginally. "Ah. How are you, then? Well, I hope." Really, truly.

he is rarely, if ever, seen outside of the cerberus building off duty as he's quite reserved, but if you catch him outside, he'll probably be wearing a simple t-shirt and pants that he's owned for years now.  at cerberus, he's always in one of his whirlpool uniforms.  he has several variations ( example one , example two , though the colors are more sea green / blue than red / orange ), as well as a 'stealth' uniform in more muted / desaturated colors & with full sleeves for when he does more incognito missions (though he's not very good at incognito... water powers makes that difficult)

very fun, very loud, very colorful.  she takes a lot of pride in her chaotic wardrobe, and despite the vast amount she has, she doesn't buy fast fasion.  she prefers to commission people to make clothes for her and has several favorites who know her tastes (always varied, never wants anything the same).  when on a cerberus mission, she'll wear cerberus issued black tactical wear though she hates it.  if she's in the building but not on a mission, she'll wear something from her own wardrobe.

.......... sighs.  at work, he's usually wearing a sweatshirt under his lab coat (he gets cold!).  all other times it's all black and androgynous i guess? idk. im bad with fashion! the one thing he will always have is a jacket and (faux) leather gloves and his favorite docs that he worked very hard to break in.  he's also a fan of silver jewelry, rings and necklaces and earrings specifically.

usually pretty well dressed even if they prefer the comfort of a cardigan or sweater!  they're more often found in a well fitting, well designed suit, but if you knock at their door at night they are in cardigan #2384 and sweatpants.  have mercy on them...

Wow...

Yesterday night, I was at this irritating school function that I had to go to, and my crush/best friend (it’s a long story) and I were waiting in line for my homeroom teacher to open the door. Based on the order the line was in, we got to sign into the class and choose first or second shift to help with the program. Everyone always wants first shift, so everyone was pushed against the door in hopes of getting in the classroom in time. Jokingly, I pretended to get ready to fight him for the last spot, and he said the most amazing words to me, “I don’t think that’s a good idea, I have a good 50 pounds on you”. I was so elated, I know it’s not accurate by any means, but the fact that he looks at me that way..... for just a moment, I almost felt pretty.
