Yesterday I picked up a Bible and it opened to Song of Solomon 5:10. What a beautiful love song, and how my heart longed for more when it was finished. But I know it was the length it was supposed to be.

I watched tems music videos by auto play by accident yesterday morning. I like her. She makes being black look soft and warm. It is on the inside.

I’ve never seen that expressed outwardly. I’ve seen soft and cold (Jhene), or warm and tough (City girls) but this felt different. It felt Nice.

I made some loose friends kind of this week. 2 who said they’d take me out or abroad and another 2 who said the same, that they’d let me know when there’s a nice party on.

They said they were totally ok if I don’t want to dance or have ‘high’ vibes all the time. I Took a deep breath and tried to believe them. Ik that sounds so dramatic.

I’ve lost friends over not being high vibes all the time. I thought they were asking because they were concerned for my mental health but they were just annoyed that I came out with low vibes.

I guess that’s what happens when you see people as social accessories to boost your mood, instead of humans to support and care for. I understand that being negative or toxic draining energy warrants social removal. I don’t think being quiet is under that category. Ooh I want cookies oh no!

It’s kinda funny because when I approached the meaner girl from before to explore a friendship I thought she looked mean and carried herself in a possibly haughty way. Guess it was discernment all along.

Yesterday I found out I’m healthy! BMI blood sugar and pressure. I think, in this new era I can take ugly pictures and have memories. I don’t have any. I should get a Polaroid maybe.

Making peace with who I am and how others will see that. Just saw an ad for magic Mike live. We live in a fallen world people!! Ttyl xx
