one of the biggest issues sam/bucky fanfiction writers have is how they write sam loving bucky vs. bucky loving sam.

most of the time, sam loves bucky for who he is becoming, the expressions bucky has when he's around things he loves, the positives of his personality and sam loves the goodness in bucky that other people seem to be blind to. it's lovely, I love writing sam learning and being able to love again after losing so many people. its one of the many complexities of his features.

the issues that I'm seeing a lot of is people writing bucky loving sam for the things that sam can do for him specifically, not loving him as an individual but rather a provider. they write bucky loving sam for being patient with him or always believing in him. this is not inherently wrong, but when you ignore sam's character traits to focus only on how he can service other people (especially bucky) its lazy and incompetent writing. there is nothing wrong with that, as its very compliant with who sam is but it is wrong when its the only reason bucky is shown/written to love him. sam is a character BY HIMSELF. do not fail to incorporate sam's attributes in order to make him 'loveble' to bucky.

sam does not need to be the one fixing bucky in every fic. please for christ's sake, you can use your own characterizations because that's the point of fanfiction, but please give sam some type of element that isn't related to bucky. sam is still sam without bucky. don't excuse your bad writing by saying we weren't given enough of sam's backstory for you to write him well.

How many times does your mind take you immediately into thoughts like, what if I choose them but they don’t chose me? Or fear around how long they will stay. Or worrying about if you’re even enough? Or if it’s too good to be true? Or if you’ll like them as much as someone else? Are you ready to lovingly acknowledge how powerful your self doubt is, in manifesting certain unfavorable outcomes and at the same time see that it never had anything to do with how loveable you are? When you are broadcasting doubt of how loveble you are, you will meet people who show you that as a mirror. They will doubt it as well. Not because you aren’t worthy of love but because your self doubt is that powerful. And energy doesn’t lie.

This is never about fault. And it’s not about blame. There are people who are unwillingly to show up in relationships authentically. So no we don’t control others actions. But accountability is different. It’s looking at the part of us that is a magnet for this sort of person. I call it the paper doll syndrome. It’s when you attract the exact same person in your life just in a new body. Are you ready to get out of the way of the people who want to genuinely love you? .

A boy was born in the summer of ‘98 on a day that two things happen the fading/ of a star to give chance to the emerging of one.

Prior his 4th birthday his mother passes on and buried a day after his birthday.

Pain,trauma and loss lingered in his heart and thoughts,buh lil did he know that Pain is about to be his friend. mearly a year since his mom’s death, dad dies in a truck crash. laid to rest a day after his 5th bday, his now five an orphan, he is sent to live with his gran back in the villages buh to his demise his gran’s reception is of royalty buh relatives on the other hand iltreated the boy because they hated his father dead he won’t be there to speak or protect him sweared, hit , blamed for the death of his mother and hated for being the only son of the man they hated, success was the opposite of want they wanted for him, death was a better altenative. DEATH was his not new name given to him by cousins and older relatives this hurt his maternal gran to a point where she cut ties with all the relatives she thought him to love those relatives as much as she loved him buh he should never change to fit in he grew to be a smart teen buh high school came to play all his relations give him one thing at the end a broken heart buh he still had more relations until he hated them buh HATE was one thing he HATED feeling. 

HE is turning 21 on the 24th Of October and he is the most loveble guy you would ever come across. When I asked him how did he manage to still have love for people and relationships his answer was: “I’ve lived around sadness, anger, hate, Isolation to last a life time buh all of that sorrounded me buh didn’t grow in me I received HATE buh in return I gave out LOVE and NOTHING but LOVE”. He Smokes Weed and when I asked him why?  he said: (laughs before answering) : “Weed loved me when I didn’t know how to love muh self...... My top Anime of the season

Spring 2017

Ok since the first time I did this It was quite appreciated, I’m doing it again. Those are the anime I enjoyed the most this fall. You should definitly check it out :)

-Oushitsu Kyoushi Haine

I’ll be honest, I was expecting nothing from the anime. I thought it woud be the same fujoshi bait with some bishounens and the chibi moe sensei. Oh I was so wrong.

This became easily my favorite anime of the season. The characters are so loveble, the animation and character design is great and so is the story.

It goes from adorable and silly

To serious and somehow sad and touching arguments, such as selfconfidence, society and family.

Synopsis

Equally charming and stern, Heine Wittgenstein is a brilliant man who commands respect, despite his short, childlike stature. Thus, the king of Grannzreich has called upon Heine to undertake a daunting task that has driven away many before him—become the new royal tutor to four princes who are in line for the throne.

-Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho

From what I’ve seen this anime was quite underwatched considering how good it was for its genre. This was quite enjoyible and the bond between the two protagonists zero and yohei, It’s one of the best I’ve seen in anime. The anime is the adaption of the first light novel, and I think they did a great job afterall.

In a world of constant war between humans and witches, there exist the "beastfallen"—cursed humans born with the appearance and strength of an animal. Their physical prowess and bestial nature cause them to be feared and shunned by both humans and witches. Shingeki no kyojin season 2

I’ll be honest, I did like the first season of Snk but I pretty much couldn’t stand most of the characters. With the second season I understood how silly I was and how much of an fucking masterpice snk is. I finished the rest of the manga the day later and damn I can say for sure now that snk is one of my most favorite manga/ anime ever.

You don’t even need to compare them, because witt studio did a magificent job. Be it the animation, the soundtrack, the extra scenes and the most important fact. They were able to do the impossible .

Boku no hero Season 2

Ok this precious gem is slowly taking over my heart. The characters are so loveble I just can’t. There are ofc quite some tropes of the usual shonen story but the way It’s executed makes you overlook them.

Studio bones just confirm once again why they are my favorite studio by omitting the sensless possible fillers, animating properly and respecting the mangaka work.

Also a huge plus for using kenshi yonezu and amzarashi songs as openings for the anime

Natsume yuujinchou roku

Whenever I see natsume yuujinchou I get this fuzzy and warm feeling I used to have when as a child alone, anime were my only happiness. It just makes me feel inside why the japanese animation has always held such a big significance on my life.

Natsume is special, it’s one of those masterpieces that is always able to move you. I’ll never stop reccomending it to people. Be it the beatiful anime delievered to us by brain base studio, or the manga accurately drawn by Midorikawa Yuki.

I also want to mention the opening of this season which in my humble opinion It’s one of the most beatiful anime opening I’ve ever seen. The visuals, the music the deep meaning behind every character aparence and the flower language just makes this so precious. It shows once again how much this anime is treasured by the studio, which is always beatiful to see in my opinion.

I finished ACOSF last night and have a lot of thoughts and feelings so I will put them here.

I’m really glad that I didn’t let any of the negative things people were saying impact my opinion. People are so quick to make anything SJM related into a negative experience so I’m very happy to have ignored it and formed my own opinion. 

SJM wrote Nesta’s healing journey so beautifully I actually cried so many times reading it. I related to many of her thoughts and it broke me to see how much guilt she lived with and why she behaved the way she did. I loved watching as the people around her (esp Cassian) begin to realize why Nesta was the way she was.

People’s beef with the IC makes no sense. They never gave up on her. Even when they “shunned” her, they never gave up on her.

People talk about the IC taking Nesta’s choices away but...it seems many of you don’t understand what it’s like to live/deal with people who go down a destructive path and can’t help themselves. Nesta did not give herself any other options. They loved her enough that even if she resented them, even if she hated them, they would rather she hated them than continue to let her spiral in this hateful behavior towards herself. She had choices, ones she didn’t necessarily like because they were taking her away from this destructive behavior, but she had choices. Sometimes the only way to get a person that’s broken moving is to push them and push them hard. 

The weird anger towards Mor and Amren in this book needs to chill. Nesta did enough that they were absolutely tired of her BS. They’re not obligated to be pleasant to her when a) they’ve watched her hurt people she loves multiple times (Mor) and b) disregard their friendship & effort time and time again (Amren). Very important to note also, Nesta acknowledges this later on!!!

I know people seem to dislike the lack of plot but I viewed it as a set up for further plots in the other books. Also, in all honesty, I didn’t go into this book for the plot because all I actually cared about are the characters.

That being said, I do wish all the action that happened towards the end happened a little earlier on. It felt a little rushed and reminded me of her CC set up but unlike CC, there wasn’t a single moment of reading that I was bored. It’s why my rating is 4.5.

I love that Nesta found herself a little family of her own with Emerie and Gwyn. Especially because Nesta makes note of this (how she found a family like Feyre did).

I loved how training was used. Because it made her feel better and gave her a purpose, power, strength, and most of all, gave her friendship! It was used well. Especially when it inspired the other priestesses to join. 

For all the resentment towards Feyre, it was so beautiful to see Nesta realizing that it’s because what Feyre has is so beautiful and she wants it for herself. But also because she wanted this with Feyre as well.

The Archeron sisters love each other so much, I would die for them okay 😭

THE HOUSE WAS SO WONDERFUL. I love that Rhys gifted it to them. It made so much sense. Nesta just needed a friend so badly and what better friend than a freaken magical house???

Emerie and Gwyn as separate characters were so loveble. Like I love them. So much. The sleepover with Nesta. Their friendship bracelets. The Blood Rite journey. GOD. When they each shared their traumas with each other.

Nesta smiling. Nesta grinning. Nesta finding joy. Nesta looking forward to all the future has to hold.

Nesta and Azriel’s mutual understanding and friendship. The gift he gave her 🥺 the hug 🥺

Nesta fantasying about getting railed by both Cassian and Azriel. I mean, mood sis.

Nesta learning how to breathe and not letting her emotions get the better of her. Nesta reaching the bottom of the stairs. Nesta learning coping mechanisms that aren’t harmful to her.

The smut was so dirty and I loved it for them.

I said this in a separate post but the dumb and dumber energy of Nessian was just 👌🏼

Nesta and Rhys’s relationship changing for the better. I am really happy about this because they are two sides of the same coin in how they love and the fierce protectiveness towards their family. Rhys is going to be so annoying in loving Nesta now.

The power of Nesta that literally everyone wants to marry her. Get it girl. Like damn, the Death-god saw her for 2.5 seconds and was already deep-diving into his fantasy of railing her. 

Every single time Cassian stood up for her.

Everyone, and I mean everyone knowing they’re mates while Cassian tells them all to stfu until Nesta gets better.

The scrying scene where everyone is fucken terrified and this dude just goes “Hello Nes” and makes out with her. Cassian is the best Gryffindor boy ever. 

There are SO many good lines in this book but “Your power is a song, and one I’ve waited a very, very long time to hear, Nesta.” is top tier.

Cassian is the simpest of simps for Nesta and I love it. Their relationship developed so well. Their love languages compliment each other great even when they’re being idiots.

Nesta telling Elain fuck you had me laughing as hard as Elain was.

Nesta’s love of music and getting to experience that love for it again. Cassian’s mixtape gift. Them dancing. SJM could’ve punched me in the tits and it would’ve hurt less than this. 

Nesta taking power from the cauldron for what it did to one sister and giving it all back to save the other. 

The whole giving birth scene crushed me tbh. Rhys screaming and watching the love of his life AND his baby die???? SJM PLEASE GIVE THEM A BREAK. Rhys also needs to find better healers. Love my girl Madja but y’all remade Cassian’s wings and can’t do a c-section without people dying??

Nesta finally visiting her father’s grave and then going to spend more time with her sisters. Again, I just...love them so much. 

I will stop here because this is too much already. I have so many pages tabbed in the book but UGH I think this book will be my favorite of the series. I loved it so much and enjoyed diving back into this world that means so much to me! If any one else has thoughts to share, please do!!
