I want to see someone cower beneath me as I coo at them. Whispering sickly sweet nothings into their ears as I place a finger on their mouth- dragging it down to part their lips and trace their jawline- landing upon the delicate skin of their neck. Thump, thump- the precious beat of a pulse.

I imagine how much they would tremble; lost and utterly terrified. To watch them cling desperately onto a part of my clothing, anything to ground themselves and stay focused on me. How I hush their whimpers and pleas of mercy.

That exquisite pulse under my finger- luring me to bring myself closer. I would tilt their chin up, hearing the hitch of their breath. Open my mouth, only placing my teeth on their skin. Enough to mark, but not bleed.

Perhaps that will give them hope. That I was merely teasing- and they would sigh. Only for me to sink my teeth into their neck, blood gushing as it pours into my throat; quenching a thirst I never knew I had before this euphoric moment.

Oh, their lovely cries of agony. Will it be a vile look of detest? Or one of heart-wrenching betrayal? Watching life slowly fade from their eyes, falling limp to death. At the very least, they died in the arms of someone who loves them and the meager sustenance they provided.
