What is fear?

I had sat for three weeks begging Matt to let me drive, pleading with him to just take me around the block. I was trying to wage with him to see if he’d teach me in return for something else.

It wasn’t that he said no, but he was just so busy constantly and he never really had a chance to teach me. On top of that it wasn’t really that important. For Christ sake I was his passenger princess.

I was just full of excitement, after putting off my drivers test for two years. At the ripe age of 21 I had finally put my big girl pants on and took my test. I was more shocked that I passed the first time even though I hit the curb at least two times.

And finally after two weeks of begging Matt we finally had some time where we could take an hour to drive around. Matt shook his head as I jumped around in joy.

“Next think you know you’re going to be my passenger princess” I said to Matt as he slid his sneakers on

“Good because honestly I’m tired of driving around” he says shrugging his shoulders and giggling

“Sooner or later you’ll be kicking your feet up while I cruise down the highway” I said grabbing my purse

“Slow down little lady, you have to learn how to make turns without eating the curbs” he replied jumping up and grabbing his keys

“Hey! Not fair they happened to be in my way” I stated rolling my eyes

“….right” Matt states tilting his head at me

“Oh whatever lets go” I said shaking my head and playfully hitting him

Matt had driven me around the two blocks he wanted me to go around. Pointing out things to me and telling me how to do it.

Nodding my head we switched positions, so I was in the driver seat.

“Okay good, now put your signal on and look over your left shoulder to check your blind spot” He said looking over his shoulder to see my blind spot

Doing as he said, I checked my blind spot and pulled off the curb

“Good, now slowly ease on the brakes going to the stop sign” he replied, but I had gotten nervous and hit the brakes a bit too hard

“I’m sorry” I immediately muttered out

“Don’t worry baby it’s okay” he said looking over at me and reassuring me

Turning the corner (surprisingly without hitting the curb), I smiled at the small accomplishment. But I hadn’t noticed I was driving a bit too slow

Earning a honk from the asshole behind us.

“Oh my god” I started looking into the rear view mirror

“Ignore him, he’s a douchebag” Matt said sticking his hand out the car to tell the guy to chill out

But that seemed to piss the guy off more, and next thing U knew he was honking again.

Getting flustered I sped up a bit and turned the corner. Actually blowing through the stop sign and blowing the corner

“Babe! Stop sign” Matt said getting nervous

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry” I said as I got really anxious

Embarrassment and anxiety took over as my face and ears grew hot and my arms got shaky.

“It’s okay, it’s okay baby just take your time okay” Matt said rubbing my back a little bit as he seemed concerned

“Matt I don’t want to do this anymore I’m scared” I replied to him

“It’s okay just stop here and we can switch out” he said pointing to the curb

Pulling over we switched spots and Matt started to drive us back home

“What happened baby?” He asked glancing at me

“That guy just made me nervous and I got flustered and anxious and then blowing through the stop sign didn’t help either” I said shaking my head

“It’s okay, you’re still learning and you’re new to this” he said reassuring me with a smile

We had got back home, but I still couldn’t let go of what happened. Matt had taken notice of this and felt so bad.

Coming up behind me as I sat at the table he slid his arms over me and leaned his head on my shoulder.

“Don’t let it get to you baby okay? You were doing amazing” he said kissing my shoulder

“I know it’s just I felt so bad” I replied shaking my head

“That’s normal, but don’t dwell on it that guy was an asshole” he said nudging me with his head

Smiling at him I kissed his arms that were wrapped around me

“Plussss you didn’t hit any curbs” he said with a smirk, which caused me to roll my eyes and playfully nudge him

“Hey be nice” I said giggling

“No I am! I think that deserves a reward…” he says pulling away

“Ouu does it?” I asked smirking

“Hmm what do you say…about ice cream? He asks winking at me

“I say that would be amazing” I replied standing up from the chair

“Let’s go then, and forget about all this” he stated reaching for my head

Planting a kiss to my head we both walked out. And Matt led the way to the ice cream shop. Soon after we were able to laugh at my embarrassment.

He even convinced me to try again in a couple of days. And I was shocked I agreed to it……

i say his hands are always naturally cold by default and you can’t do anything about it 🤫

he’s actually the one who always pokes, prods and tickles you with his cold fingers. especially if you give him a reaction like yelping out or strangling out a strange noise

he’s constantly waiting for the chance to just swiftly glide over to you and stick his hands up your shirt or rest them on your neck. seeing you squirm out of his freezing touch is one of the few highlights of his day 😭

he won’t exactly expect it if you try to do it though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

it’ll be like any other day, just an average moment where he’s talking to someone (distracted and doesn’t completely realize you’re silently watching him like prey 💫 )

so you quietly tip toe behind him and stick your icicle freezing hands up his shirt (≖ ͜ʖ≖)

he immediately grabs his own body, stifling a yelp as you wrap your arms around his waist, running your hands up and down his chest. the more he’s thinking about it the more he’s getting flustered

“oi oi! what’s—what are you doing?!”

he’s going to blush red while trying to maintain his expression. “we’ll talk about payback… later…”

after that, he’ll constantly be holding his shirt down in public. and so are you 😭 i guess you’ve given each other trust issues

the day now consists of you both trying to slip your hands under each others shirts and making a run for it 🏃 it somehow becomes a contest on who can put their hands up the other persons shirt in a day (≖ᴗ≖✿)

the agency usually sees you running or hiding from him or him running from you. you were once found in a closet trying to avoid dazai. poor atsushi found you

there was once even a moment where you and dazai both somehow ended up playing tag in the office 🤔 it was dazai’s turn and, well, let’s just say he gave you a running start while shooting out his grabby hands with an evil look in his eyes

the first time you stuck your hands up his shirt, he let out a high pitched shriek ಥ‿ಥ

“what the FUCK?? was that you >:0 ??”

he’s hurt. he’s wounded. he feels betrayed. violated. offended. every word in the book 😔

when he asks why tf you did that, you just proudly say it was to annoy him. you’ve definitely accomplished that. he’s definitely annoyed. he’s also angry. angry he lowkey thinks it’s hot 🤬

warm weather is your best friend because then he won’t complain about your cold hands up his shirt (considering if your hands are still cold even in the summer 🥲)

okay yeah, you catch him the first few times. but now revenge is on his mind. and chuuya likes his revenge 10x bigger so you’re definitely fucked lol <3 a huge part of him just wants to dump a whole bucket of ice on you while you’re sleeping while the other part is begging for you to stick your hands up there again 🙁

he’s conflicted. i’m only 90% sure he won’t test out the ice bucket challenge on you though—

this went on for many days until an idea popped into his head. he suggested wearing matching gloves like his ;) only because you keep sticking your cold ass fingers up his shirt 🤬🤬 he means it affectionately though <3 i think <3

it’s all really just to trick you, and if you say yes to the gloves then he’s practically jumping with joy on the inside. all’s well until you stick your gloved hands up his shirt again.

now he’s got another problem to deal with cuz this is also igniting something in him 0_o

he is extremely confused.

he thinks you’re giving him ideas on how to “torture” the orphans. he quite literally asks “are you showing me a new tickle tactic to use on the kids 🤔?” while you’re standing there with an even more confused look on your face.

can you blame him? i mean, you literally dashed up behind him and stuck your hands up his shirt to give his pecs a little squish 🤫 but instead of letting out any type of noise, the two of you simply stand there in that position. trust me if i could draw it, i would

“are you feeling cold?”

“…huh?”

“that’s why your hands are currently up my shirt, right? your hands felt cold?”

“…sure ◕‿◕”

just pat him on the back and walk away.

i like to think his hands are almost never cold so even if he were to try doing it to you, the least it would do is tickle. for example, imagine you’re in the middle of a random task. he’ll just stick his hands on your back and stand there to wait for your reaction 🧍‍♂️

“what? what’s wrong?”

“are you feeling anything? does it tickle? is it working 🙂?”

well since it didn’t work on him, it’ll work on the orphans, right? right. you discover that he finds greats enjoyment in watching you tickle torture the kids with your cold hands 🎉

just imagine any meme of a cat violently screaming out. yes. that’s him.

he doesn’t understand why you have the sudden urge to stick your cold hands up his shirt, so you’ll often see him glaring at you like this -_- from across the room. beady little eyes watching your every move -_-

one day he walks into the agency with both his suspenders wrapped around his body so that you can’t get inside his shirt. honestly, what a shame 😒

but let’s say you do manage to get your hands up his shirt. he’s a complete blushing mess. one, because you’re literally gliding your hands all over his stomach, chest, and back. two, because your hands are cold and he’s jumping around like he has ants in his pants 😊

he actually doesn’t hate the feeling, he just gets flustered because you’re touching him hehe. after a while he gets used to it and doesn’t even try to stop you or runaway anymore ಥ‿ಥ

he gets super embarrassed when you do it in public. for example, once you came to him and pulled him into a hug. he’s alarmed at first, expecting the feeling of your cold hands on his chest. but strangely enough, he only feels your body against his own, your face pressed into the crook of his neck.

just when he’s relaxed and ready to hug you back, he feels familiar cold hands shoot up his shirt.

“you—you deceived me ಠ~ಠ!”

meanwhile, you’re manically running away 😋 run faster bitch! the tiger is quick >:0
