#lu wind my beloved

I like that we all agree that Wind and Spirit Track Link (Spirit?) need to be separated as an lu headcanon. Since we haven’t actually seen any proof in lu canon that Wind mentioned something about trains or Malladus.

So my speculation was that 1. Wind hasn’t had his third adventure and, because of the location of ST, he has the quest after lu. The same way Wild will go through totk after lu.

Or 2. Jojo will never touch on anything about ST. Wich would be sad, but I have a theory on how it would actually work.

So Spirit Track takes place in New Hyrule, a kingdom found by Tetra and her crew and later reformed to be a new beginning for the once lost kingdom. By then the Triforce of courage had been fix by Wind, what meant the incarnation cycle has started again. Spirit was the next incarnation of the hero’s spirit.

Now going back to lu lore. Later in the timeline thanks to the War of Ages, time is broken and the timeline come together, creating one single timeline (ignoring aoc but that isn’t lu canon as far as I know).

With the timelines now as one. There are Ritos and Zoras (Yona gave me massive downfall river zora vibes). Saltstones(?) which were used as evidence that Hyrule had been underwater. The mention of some hero’s from the past, etc…,

Now to the part why I think ST could had have happen in lu lore, yet doesn’t affect Wind nor Spirit if he is an stand alone link in comic.

Three timelines would mean three Hyrules become on, and that is true but one isn’t actually a kingdom anymore. My Theory is that when all the branches united the strongest Kingdom stayed, while the oder faded into it and can only be noted subtle. Causing Déjà-vu’s and the feeling of familiarity but not being able to explain why, to all the people.

Wind’s Hyrule doesn’t exist anymore, so nothing is taken from there. But New Hyrule exist! And this is the interesting part.

New Hyrule isn’t where the old Hyrule was. It’s probably somewhere else entirely! It’s also important to know that the people from New Hyrule (Nyrule?) don’t take a lot from the old believe of the hylians, but rather found themselves starting from zero. Rather than the goddess, they worship spirits. It’s not Demise/Ganondorf but Malladus in the legend.

So I theorize that somewhere there is an other kingdom with a royal bloodline from the goddess Hylia and an incarnation of the hero. But there both have different cultures, legends and maybe enemies. While Hyrule has Zelda, Link and Ganon/Ganondorf, Nyrule has Zelda, Link and Malladus or someone being controlled by him as the never ending cycle.

The quest in lu has all the Hero’s of Hyrule come together, Spirit not belonging to that Land of Hyrule may be the reason he will not join and why ST isn’t taking any importance at all. But that’s just my theory on how to take ST into account without rewriting the story of the game, but also why Jojo hasn’t made any reference to it. And also to expend more countries beside Holodrum, Labrinna and Hytopia.

It was a dull, rainy morning as Warriors made his way home. The shift had been fairly mundane, but the weather and being on his feet all night still left him exhausted.

His mind was a fog as he climbed the stairs to his apartment. Sometimes he tried to debrief on his walks home, but most times he couldn’t quite settle his thoughts on any one thing. Thankfully he didn’t have anything too terrible to debrief today.

It was silly to even think he needed such things. Nothing really bothered him these days. As frustrating as civilian healthcare could be, it was rarely traumatic in the way wartime nursing had been.

Maybe I am more pensive than I thought, he mused with a weak huff as he unlocked the door.

His mind snapped into focus as strange smells hit his nostrils before immediately registering them. Syrup, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits.

Furrowing his brow, Warriors slowly moved inside and went to the kitchen to find Wind in wrinkled pajamas, hair a hot mess, finishing up making an omelette.

“You’re up awfully early,” Wars noted.

Wind jumped a little, fumbling the omelette and nearly spilling it on the stove top, and then he turned to smile at his brother in all but blood. “I’m making breakfast!”

“I see that,” Wars acknowledged with a smile. “What’s the occasion? Aren’t classes later?”

Wind’s sleepy cheer sobered, and he waved the spatula like it was a baton. “Well, after meeting the old man’s wife, I decided that Time isn’t the only one who needs someone to take care of him. So I’ve decided to make breakfast for you when you get off work.”

Warriors stared at the teenager, lost for words. He… his chest warmed unexpectedly, throat thick with emotion.

“Don’t expect it every time,” Wind warned him a little halfheartedly. “I know for sure I can’t get up this early every time. But I figured when you finish a stretch—”

“That’s fine,” Warriors interrupted, biting his tongue as he still fought with emotions. Then he gave a genuine smile. “Thanks, kiddo.”

Wind’s smile in return was as bright as the sun, and he gave Warriors a tight hug.

Sky and Wind and Twilight, SOUP

"CHOW TIME TROOPS! COME GET YER CHOW!" The army cook yelled and banged on the side of the cauldron with an iron ladle.

"FINALLY!" Wind groaned. "I'm starving!"

"Defending a keep all day will do that to ya," Twilight laughed. "Come on Sky. Dinner's ready."

"I hope it tastes better than it smells," Sky answered grabbing his mess kit. "It smells like a pot of laundry."

The three heroes got in line to be served along with the rest of the soldiers assigned to defend the West Keep from the waves of stal children and other stal creatures plaguing Warriors' Hyrule. When they got up to the front of the line, they were each served a hearty scoopful of... something. It was a chunky white soup. There were no other distinguishing features to it.

"Um, excuse me, what is this?" Sky asked the cook politely.

"What? You foreigners ain't ever seen a potato soup?" The cook scoffed and waved them off.

"Not like this," Twilight grimaced and muttered to himself as he walked back to the gate the trio were charged with guarding.

"Is this supposed to be good?" Wind asked making a face. He sat on a broken stone block with the soup bowl in his lap. "This just tastes like potatoes and water. I don't even think there's salt in it."

"It's supposed to be filling, not necessarily good," Sky answered.

"You know what? We're going to make it good," Twilight said. "I got some cheese to add to the bowls. What do you two got?"

"Salt pork!" Wind volunteered.

"I have some black pepper and garlic powder," Sky offered.

"Alright, set your bowls here next to mine and let's fancy up these sad bowls of hot potato water," Twilight said. "And keep it on the downlow what we're doing. We don't have enough goods to fancy up every bowl in the keep."

Five minutes later and the three heroes were taste testing their newly fixed up soups.

"Mmm! This is so much better!" Wind grinned. "That salt pork really adds a lot to the potatoes."

"It was a very good idea, Twilight," Sky said. "But I have to ask, how old was that cheese?"

"You don't want to know!" Twilight answered with a grin. The other heroes laughed, slightly nervously.

LU AU | Power Shift

A strange dungeon challenge forces The Chain’s items/powers to swap with each other! Oh my! Aka an idea I had that started with me thinking about what would happen if Warriors drew the 4Sword after reading “My Heart’s Forsaken Me”, which then spiraled into this, somehow. Speaking of Wars, let’s start with him:

Warriors - Four - The 4Sword has spilt him up and he can’t convince his other selves to rejoin. His different colors represents different parts of a Five/Four man band, instead of just different emotions.

Green - The closest to the original and The Leader. Very embarrassed by his other selves. He wears the regular Hero’s Clothes, a green tunic with a blue scarf. The rest of the color’s clothes are based on other Hero’s Clothes outfits in the HW game.

Red - The mischievous one who’s always butting heads with the others, he’s The Lancer. He loves to use all of Four’s items, and if the dungeon didn’t ban him from using other people’s weapons, he would steal borrow all the items he wants. He wears the red(since there’s two of them)Wind Walker version of the Hero’s Clothes, a red tunic with a teal scarf.

Blue - The one who would be the sweet one if not for getting constantly frustrated by the other colors. He’s very friendly to Time and Wind, but mostly Wind. He looks kinda sad around Time, and is generally very expressive. He’s insistent on helping anybody he can, he’s The Heart. He wears the Grand Travels version of the Hero’s Clothes, a blue tunic with a red scarf and yellow pants.

Whitney - Similar to Vio, this guy has more of a normal person name, a combination of White and Pinkie, the first two nicknames that were suggested to him. Like Vio, he was also named by Red. He wears the Koholint version of the Hero’s Clothes, which is almost fully white, with the scarf being a light pink and some pink accents on his tunic. He’s the silent tactician of the group, he’s The Brains.

Four - Sky - He is not at all used to carrying around the Master Sword, it being practically the length of his entire body. Once he can successfully swing it, he is able to do a Skyward Strike, but it’s a bit of a challenge. Quite a few of Sky’s items are similar to some of his own, so he mostly knows what he’s doing. He loves the Beetle, he uses it all the time and tries to figure out what he can do to upgrade it. So far, he hasn’t figured anything out yet. But unfortunately, he now he has to deal with Sky’s limited sprinting stamina, sadly not being able to use his Pegasus Boots.

Sky - Legend - Now Sky’s the one who can run to his heart’s content. He has face planted into many walls however. He also has many magical items that he has no idea how to use. It’s a little overwhelming to say the least. Why does Legend have so many rings? At least the Tempered Sword is cool.

Legend - Wind - He can use all of Wind’s items perfectly well, but whatever amount of paranoia he had has now gone through the roof. His items, his precious items that could easily kill Sky if he’s not careful with them, his precious items that could get lost, his precious items that he can’t use-needless to say that he’s not having a good time right now. But he’s holding on, just sticking close to Sky’s side to make sure everything’s okay. And also to laugh at him when he keeps face planting into a wall.

Wind - Twilight - Wind is having the time of his life right now. All of Twilight’s items are so fun to use, he loves the cute little Bomblings and uses the Spinner a lot with Red!Wars. The most exciting thing is that he can turn into a wolf-a sea wolf/coastal wolf specially-with the Shadow Crystal. It’s not too different than experience than using a Hyoi Pear on a seagull, in his opinion anyway. He is very wrong. He also now has Twilight’s marking on his face, and he thinks he looks cool.

Twilight - Time - The markings on his face have been replaced with the ones Time have. He is…kinda confused on what they mean and Time isn’t really giving him any straight answers about it, but the masks are very cool and fun to use. But the strange feeling he constantly has, the strange, almost whispers that he can barely hear, he knows something is wrong. The spirits of Termina are awake, trying to get him to fight literally everything. The Lens of Truth is pretty useful, and magic is cool.

Time - Wild - This wouldn’t be the worst set of items for Time to have, if not for the fact that he also got Wild’s curse of everything just crumbling in his hands all the time. It sucks and he is not at all used to it. Everyone’s a bit more sympathetic towards Wild now. Time’s also a whole lot better with a bow now. He wasn’t bad with them before, but now time seems to slow down when he jumping down from a platform, bow drawn, raining down arrows on the enemies. But now he can’t even tread water without wanting to collapse into himself like a pile of goo. Damn you stamina.

Wild - Hyrule - He was excited about the unlimited* arrows at first, but unfortunately, he was struck with the tiny wallets that can only hold up to 999 rupees. The magic and the rest of the items are amazing though, even though he keeps burning through his magic meter since he keeps thinking it’ll refill on its own. It does not.

Hyrule - Warriors - Since in HW you use items from different games, Hyrule can just use whoever’s items he wants. Basically ignoring some of the limits set by the dungeon. He didn’t understand the combos, weak point smashes, focus spirit, all of that stuff until Wars tells him about it. He still doesn’t really get it but he tries.

I don’t really have a story for this, just spun a wheel and thought this would be a fun idea. Anyone can take any part of this concept and run with it, please @ me so I can see. I also think the name Whitney is inherently funny.
