"Adam, follow me." Lucifer said as he started walking down the hall. Adam grunted as he got up from the couch and chased after the king, wounded what fresh Hell he had in store for the sinner today.

They got to Lucifer's bedroom and the devil locked the door. "What are you doing?" Adam asked as he eyed him suspiciously.

"I want to show you something, something I haven't even shared with Lilith." Lucifer held out his hand and opened a portal. "This way."

Adam followed, still not understanding why they had to sneak away. Not until he crossed the threshold. "Is this..... Eden?"

"A near perfect replica. I made it myself." Lucifer said as he sat down in front of the pond, there were even ducklings there.

Adam was in awe, he hadn't even seen the garden since banishment. Near perfect or not it was pretty spot on. Slowly, he moved to sit beside Lucifer. "Why?"

"I missed the garden. It was beautiful and held many beautiful things." He looked over at Adam who was taking in the sights, that look of wonder gracing his normally grumpy features. Very beautiful indeed.

"You never brought her here?"

"No. Lilith didn't miss the garden, I figured she wouldn't be interested..... I know how much you miss it."

Adam looked down at the off green grass, not like Eden but still soft and nice to look at. "Of course I do, it was my first home." A home he was forced to leave.

"I know it's not the same, but it's something right? And we can come here anytime you'd like." Lucifer smirked. "If you're good." He teased.

Adam snorted. "If I'm good." He felt a hand touch his in the soft grass. Looking down he saw their hands touching and his face warmed, heart beating faster. He flicked his gaze to meet Lucifer's. "Thank you, Luci." Adam smiled a real genuine smile.

Oh, Lucifer took in the rare sight, something he hadn't seen in a long time. He returned the smile. " You're welcome, Adam."

As if reading the others mind, they leaned in and closed the distance between them in a feather light kiss.

Lucifer should have kissed Adam in the real garden all those years ago.
