Happy Friday! I can’t believe it’s still raining, where is the sun!? It honestly feels as if it’s been raining for over a month, I’m done with this weather. I don’t really have anything specific to talk about today, so here’s a reading update. I just finished Red White and Royal Blue and it was freaking amazing. I love this book with every fiver of my soul! Everyone needs to go read it right now if you haven’t already. I can honestly say that it’s probably going to be my favourite book of the year. . As for the kids Emmy has learned to climb on the couch, she’s a little daredevil. She tries to stand up on her toys and jump off the end of the couch I swear babies/toddlers have no fear. Nosh got an immunization at school yesterday, says his arm is really sore today. He has no school again, feels like he always has a holiday or something keeping him home. . Hmmm....

Earlier today my husband and I were having s conversation about nothing in particular, and I mentioned that I was worried that no one would show up to my baby shower. And my husband, in all of his revelatory awesomeness, started talking about the changes we go through throughout life.

Whether it’s a relationship change, or a change in career, or just a change in where you live, life will change. And in reference to the shower, he said I can expect certain people to be there, but when it really comes down to it, friends come and go. Sometimes you have the same friend for 40 years, sometimes 10, sometimes 6 months.

Life changes, and “all you can do is roll with the punches sunshine.”
