Thinking about how fate is a tangible and unavoidable thing in the pjo world and every single time, it stakes its claim no matter what the characters do to avoid it. The three Fates know when your string will be cut and have full control over it. The oracle always knows who will die, where and when, while the people in question can only cross their fingers and hope the prophecy isn't referring to them. Because if it is, then it is.

I am heartbroken by this. For two reasons, one that is not acceptable at all and absolutely horrible and two because the unnamed king and father of the princes was a character I really liked and would have loved to have him as a main character. I really admired the king and felt sorry for him this whole time and now I just feel so torn and disappointed😭😭

I remember when I first read this, I thought how sweet of him to do it, and I hope you'll see it too…

I don't see this as a spoiler, but just in case…

The Chev called Luke late at night to the desolated church and accused him of crimes.

At this point, you expect him to kill him… right this instant. They actually fought with swords a bit, but… Clavis shows up!

Chev do nothing without a reason. So… he didn't wanna kill Luke. Even knowing that he is a threat. Awwww… He's so softie….

Wait a minute. Since when did you decide you wanted to talk to them? You only did this on your route because Belle influenced you so much. But what happened to you here?

It was like she had somehow managed to tame not one tiger, but two. And she didn't even talk to him that much. Odd… But this is our sweet, kind Chev, whom we all love so much. So be it.
