Thinking about how Garp and Dragon are actually kind of similar when it comes to their beliefs in justice and their loyalty to it. They both prioritize it over their loved ones even though it makes them and their loved ones suffer the consequences. It's not that they don't care for them. They even seem to be the types that care very deeply (even though they are both really bad at showing it), but they still think it's more important to work towards the greater good and a better world rather than let their personal feelings take over. Ironic that they stand on opposite sides, despite the fact that they both have the same goal of fixing their messed up world.

Booooy howdy here's a bit of a doozy. Where do I begin!

Well I chose my old username back in mid 2017 when I was a wee lass writing silly fics on fanfiction.net. I chose it because it was Italian for "You are beautiful", because 1) I'm half Italian and 2) I thought it was sweet and wholesome.

To start: as I said above, I'm half Italian. That's because I'm Italian-American, that side of the family *has* been for quite a few generations now and they absolutely fit ALL the stereotypes you could think of when you hear "Italian-American". Stupidly proud of their heritage, and usage of silly botched up slang all while knowing little to no actual Italian. I know some stuff mainly through osmosis but yea. I definitely can't speak the language and I'll admit I simply do not have the brain power to memorize another language. I tried it with Spanish in high school already and it didn't go very well LOL

So yeah. I was one of "those" people as a teen. Idk why, it's stupid and I'm simply not like that anymore! So that's the biggest reason, but it's also not the only reason.

Number two is simplicity. Seeing that it's a common Italian phrase it's no surprise that "Sei Bellissima" straight up is taken across different sites, leading me to have to make some funky additions so that I can make accounts on there. This can lead to some confusion. Not to mention those additions can make the username long as hell in general and a pain to type out. So I went for a shorter name that will still be easier to remember, even in the cases where additions are necessary.

And uhh regarding the "Sweet and wholesome" thing- I still try to be positive where I can, but I've been through the wringer a *lot* since then and I simply do not have as much happy energy as I did back then. Believe me, it's sad and I really had no idea what was coming for me at the time but- being that overtly positive all the time definitely drained me a lot more than necessary. I guess that's another reason for a change; it all just didn't fit who I am anymore.

So yeah, to put it all simply: it doesn't represent the kind of person I perceive myself to be today, so I decided it was time for a change. As for my decision-making process behind that change?

Lulubalu is pronounced "loo-loo-buh-loo" and is derived from the word "hullabaloo", which is a word used to refer to a commotion or fuss over something. I kinda think it fits how I react to things I really enjoy and hyperfixate on; I just go absolutely nuts. Mostly not publicly but uh. Yeah I'm very enthusiastic sdfjkhsk

The "Lulu" part is just because I like that name and the way it sounds when spoken. It isn't even my real name I just like it a lot lol. Speaking of. When you wanna speak to me now, you can use "Lulu" to address me

ANYWAY. I'm still me; I've certainly changed a lot over the years and the username change is a nice way to reflect that, I think. All of the stuff I've posted over the years is still here so if you've got anything bookmarked you'll want to update that (I will be changing my art tag to [#lulu's doodles] and will be taking the free time I have to update all the posts skdjfhskj). Buuuut otherwise I think that's it. If you've made it this far, thanks for reading and enjoying the stuff I've put out over the years <3

my favorite part of any game is cooking! even irl !

i remember playing super paper mario 2 and going ham with the different powerups u could make with different ingredients... i enjoyed the same feature with dont starve together crockpots recipes, making delicious and life saving meals in a dangerous unforgiving landscapes was so freaking rewarding!!!

So when i look at minecrafts cooking options i want to cry...why ?! mojang !! when u have SO MANY INGREDIENTS !! why cant we make anything!!! IN THIS SO CALLED SANDBOX GAME how come the only multi ingredient recipes include only cake pie and stew??! and ALL that effort for LOW SATURATION?!

WHY IS A STEAK BETTER THEN ALL OF THAT !!!!???

I haven't reached the chapters with the Roger Pirates' backstory + Buggy talking about his relationship with Shanks yet, but I've gotten little spoilers here and there and I have some thoughts. This could be very obvious but I just connected the two dots lol.

It seems to be implied that Roger favored Shanks at least slightly more than Buggy and it didn't go unnoticed by him. Like, the fact that Shanks was the one holding the hat already says a lot. It seems like Roger had a lot of expectations for Shanks and his future. And this is also why Buggy was so disappointed in Shanks even temporarily abandoning his main ambitions and why he chose to not continue piracy alongside him. Anyway, that's not the main thing that I want to talk about.

There is this panel of someone asking Roger who he thinks is going to find the one piece to which he answers something like: my son, of course! And the other person mentions that he has no son.

I personally took this at face value and thought this was referring to Ace, and Roger's plan to have a son before dying who would follow his legacy and find his treasure and would also be someone who would be carrying the will of D. But maybe the whole thing with Rouge was a coincidence that happened after Roger disbanded his crew and left. Roger seemed to have loved babies, so maybe he just fell in love with Rouge and chose to have a child with for the sake of his own happiness before he died.

And here is something I noticed and it could be nothing or even a translation thing. But the few times that Roger mentions Ace he never refers to him as his son, but his child. He even chose two names and didn't seem to be favoring one outcome.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is, what if this was never referring to Ace and was always about Shanks. Roger basically raised him and Buggy as his sons since they were babies...

If Buggy ends up being the first one who reaches the one piece, this will also end up being ironic.

Am I reaching or was I an idiot for thinking the other way around before asdfghj

Auron and Tidus have such a great dynamic. Here's one of my favourite scenes and I'll tell you why.

Though less strict than his days as a warrior monk blindly following Yevon, Auron still maintains standards of propriety and respect that were always rooted in his character.

Notice the way he looks back at Tidus, who is lackadaisically lagging behind. The kid's demeanor is childish, unconfident, and it raises doubt and worry in Auron. Then they find themselves among the company of a young woman who has decided to sacrifice herself for a band-aid solution. A woman who has earned great respect for that intention alone. Yet, throughout the exchange, Tidus fiddles about, kicking rocks, seemingly disconnected from the gravity of the situation. At this point, Tidus doesn't know about the fate of a summoner, but he did just learn the shocking truth about Sin. In this scene, Tidus is blissfully unaware of the realities he is about to face, and it frustrates Auron to see how nonchalant he is for what lies ahead.

I must admit, I was worried at the beginning. But you've done well.
