My rating: 6/10

What a bizarre fever dream of a movie. It's quite pretty (apart from the bit with the polar bear wearing a thong, because yikes), but I think they just assumed everybody watching it would be intimately familiar with the source material, because it doesn't really explain much. Kai and Kerttu find a music box at the beach, Kai gets kidnapped by a big-haired white lady, Kerttu goes after them and encounters a bunch of weird characters, including several witches and half the cast of Mad Max. And then something happens and they're back at the beach, burying the music box. For reasons. I have no idea if that made any more sense in the Andersen story, but as it is, it's one hell of a trip.

7. Do they have tattoos, piercings, scars, etc? What sort of clothes do they like?

Keziah is 5'6 a cancer and has a scar on her face that looks like a deep dimple from when a creature bit her when she was little. Her hair is wavy and likes to stick up it's own. She has a beauty mark under her left eye, a birthmark on her left leg and odd scars down her back that look like she was once burnt??? hmmmm

as for fashion, she loves shorts and florescent colors in her clothing. Things need to be soft and flowy. she despises pants.
