9/7/2023 - A photographer I really look up to gave me a compliment this week. If my memories serves me correct, I don't think that's ever happened before. Don't get me wrong, I recieve compliments on photos from time to time. Its a good feeling. But receiving one from someone you look up to and respect, its different. Do I need compliments to feel good about my photography? No. I am honestly happy with what I make. And I don't need people to tell me my photos are good to know that they are. But I'd be lying if I said it doesn't also make me happy to be recognized by someone I consider great.

LUAS—Twenty Years On

This year will mark twenty years of LUAS tram operations in Dublin. Like a Leica

Ok, let’s not get too carried away – I haven’t won the lottery – but I do actually have a Leica lens, albeit attached (permanently) to my old Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 pocket camera. I bought this camera back in 2009, mainly because the photographic stalwart, Charlie Waite, was advertising them. 5/10/2023 - I have very few pictures of my mom. I almost feel ashamed that I don't have more. The first time I said goodbye to my parents, when I was leaving for the Philippines, was emotionally difficult. The second time was so much more. I didn't want to say goodbye for a second time. Now that I'm back in the Philippines I realize that most of my photos are of my brothers. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have these pictures! But I just wish I had remembered my parents.
