i'm catching up on some events rn, and i really can't fathom how people were thinking that the 3rd anni was too soon for vbs to surpass rad weekend??? lik lutf says almost explicitly how that's not their end goal anymore. it hasn't felt like that in a while, but this event solidifies that they need to go beyond it. ending vbs' story with them surpassing rad weekend would feel so unsatisfying because that's not what nagi would've wanted, that's not what ken would've wanted, and, most importantly, that's not what an and the others would've wanted. surpassing rad weekend is still clearly a goal for them, but them need to keep the dream going, and they need to reach pleaces that RADder couldn't. not getting to see them progess after rad weekend would just be bad writing. it's like stopping a book midway just because the characters accomplished what YOU wanted, but vbs still has miles to go, and i'm glad we're able to see them growing more and more past this initial goal they had.

I knew what was going on because everyone went crazy about it- and it's not really a surprise. But still. Fuck.

I can't help but feel I'd never even entertain the thought of anyone getting better than my lil' sis. I don't have one but this isn't the point. The point is : Nonsense. I kind of get why's he's so grumpy. At the same time I think it was his own twist way to encourage them.

Flashback Ken has literally two braincells and they're called Shiraishi An. This is hilarious to me. Actually young Ken seems hilarious to me.

I don't know y'all. I just went from tense, to more tense, to screaming like a banshee before somehow calming down and then I spent the rest of the event between tears, hype and a weird sense of peace. I think my brain stopped functioning. Granted, almost every pjsk event does this to me.

I don’t understand why people get so invested in tiering for events. I find it really exhausting and don’t think it actually gives you much benefit in the end. I’m not saying that tiering is bad, I just don’t get the point of it.
