Thought we'd catch our Froot Flies up on what we've been up to 😁 🔥 Naïka recently co-found @fruitionmtl, a new QTBIPOC collective centering trans and queer creatives of colour 🌈 She also released her debut solo album "Painted Imageries", now available on all major streaming platforms! 💖 Mags, co-founder of @luxmagnafest, came back to the 514 for its third edition after months of hard work making it happen across the border, while also working on a new collaborative album with @juicyfruiit_ "Age of Aquarius" (BandCamp & SoundCloud), launched at Lux Magna! Plus, Fruition & Lux collaborated with @overturewiththearts on an Afrocentric exhibition the day after 😍 🌟 Sage will be making their directorial debut on our next music video, already halfway shot in the US, so keep an eye out for more BTS this summer! Le ☼ Battle of the Brass Bands + Dance ☼ commencera à 20h30 à @lasalarosa Trois groupes joueront dans différentes parties de la salle de spectacle avant de se rencontrer au centre, pour la confrontation en plein public. Trois orchestres de cuivres joyeusement bruyants s’affronteront : T.Dot BANGERZ Brass, Urban Science Brass Band et The Van Hornies. Attendez-vous à une joyeuse rivalité amicale et de l’énergie féroce! . On January 26th, 40 musicians and 10 contemporary dancers will set the night on fire in a no-holds-barred musical clash– just try not to dance! The ☼ Battle of the Brass Bands + Dance ☼ will kick off at 8:30 p.m. at La Sala Rossa, in which 3 groups play in different parts of the venue before meeting in the middle for a battle of the bands right in the crowd.
