It's the perfect starting enemy. It'll kill you if you can't figure out the controls.

I remember dying to this rat multiple times. Lol. Like literally it is the first enemy in the game and you learn really quickly that daggerfall isn't here to play.

The game really just throws you in the deep end. But not even privateer's hold prepares you for randomly generated dungeons you swear you looked everywhere in but can't find the objective in after searching for 2 hours

objectively funny of them to make the first enemy you have to face in daggerfall a rat, which notably requires aiming downwards (not a feature in arena) followed up by the imp knowledge check, which if passed gives you just enough time to consider resting and spawning the privateer's hold closetbear
