My favorites from the generic dialogue pages. I’ve never really done a lot to gain low disposition with Skyrim NPCs so I haven’t seen a lot of these.

Hey, TESblr? Am I losing my mind, or is there no canonical reference to the Indoril helmet being specifically based on Nerevar's appearance? According to UESP, it comes from a metatextual Kirkbride post
Please tell me I'm wrong
I bring this up because St. Olms is the earliest guy in the lore with fully canonical Ordinator-mohawk-face appearance, on his shrines and banners, and he lived around the same time as Nerevar

Since I have eay too much experience on editing on UESP, and I have an editor for it built in to VScode and all:
If anyone has an OC that they have a lot of details etc for, I can make you a (not actual) UESP style page-thing, if you'd like?
I can probably share the final versions etc as editable html, pngs, pdf, or something
I can make up an example later that I can share. I have done this loads for my own characters, OCs, ttrpg stuff, etc.

Love how Divayth Fyr's page on uesp has some (probably unintentional) second-hand commentary throughout the whole thing, from the man himself. I can't read about him in peace without hearing what he thinks of it

Anyone who’s drowning in knowledge of the elder scrolls could you help me answer a question? @uesp @elderscrollsexplained
So I’m playing Skyrim and I’m in south west falkreath hold and I found a fairy ring of mushrooms with a staff of flames a copy of father of the niben and a bloody skull and a blood stain…..

Basically I’m asking is are there fairys in the elder scrolls? Does this symbolize anything? Or is it just a mage who didn’t practice safety?
For more on the location it’s by the Twilight sepulcher, I was doing the quest kyne’s sacred trials and this is where the guardian bear was, that’s how I found it.

Edit: so I do realize there is no mechanical part to this location other than it looks cool and adds a background story element. I was just curious if anyone knew if there was some sort of lore that could help explain it and give interpretation to what could have happened

Bethesda has acknowledged Oblivion's anniversary with the release of some new art to mark the occasion! The art depicts a sweetroll in their series debut style (Oblivion was the first game to actually feature a sweetroll, although they had been mentioned extensively beforehand) with a candle in it.

the skill icons for Oblivion are so fucking cool (sneak, blunt weapons, marksman, and alchemy)
#oblivion#uesp#tes#oblivion's graphic design in general goes insanely hard#but its other graphics are often laughed at#which is an interesting contrast

Did You Know: Although dragons are primarily carnivorous, they have been observed to graze on vegetation on occasion? They also seem to have a preference for hunting intelligent creatures, seemingly for the extra enrichment the greater challenge provides them.

"I do what I must do. I cannot stay to rebuild Tamriel. That task falls to others. Farewell. You've been a good friend, in the short time that I've known you. But now I must go. The Dragon waits."
