Nearby to M90 is an irregular galaxy IC 3583 (right). In this deep image, you can see some of the shells and filamentary structure between the two galaxies. This pairing might be only temporary. M90 is currently moving towards us at about 850,000 mph while IC 3583 is moving away from us at 2.5 million mph.

It is unlikely that they'll remain close together and continue to interact. Instead, they'll only have this brief flirtation.

Che indossava un radiocollare, quindi facilmente catturabile. Invece è stato scelto di ucciderlo. E la velocità con la quale la sentenza di morte, emanata dal presidente della provincia di Trento Maurizio Fugatti, è stata eseguita fa pensare che non sia improbabile che fosse morto già prima della firma.

Sia come sia, la vita degli esseri viventi subordinata a manovre politiche. Come fossero oggetti di cui disporre senza rimorso. Così trattiamo le altre forme di vita.

Abbiamo trasformato il mondo in un posto orribile per coloro che lo abitano insieme noi. Già prima non è che fosse facile sopravvivere, ma almeno la Natura è di per sé amorale: la cattiveria l’abbiamo inventata noi e l’abbiamo usata per inquinare questo pianeta.

Non ci meritiamo la compagnia di questi esseri e loro si meriterebbero un mondo senza di noi.

Non credo a paradisi o ad altre illusioni ultraterrene. Ma un pianeta senza umani su qualche altra galassia sarebbe potuto essere un bel posto per l’orso ucciso oggi.

Purtroppo non hai fatto in tempo a raggiungerlo.

One of the largest and brightest spiral galaxies in the Virgo Cluster, M90 has tightly wound spiral arms with very little star formation going on within them. Some people have started calling it an "anemic" galaxy. It might be on its way to becoming similar to the Black Eye Galaxy (M64) before it evolves into a lenticular galaxy.

Lotus M90 (X100 GTC), 1984. A prototype from a new generation Elan dating from the time Toyota has an interest in Lotus. Designed by Oliver Winterbottom who had designed the 1970s Lotus Elite, it used the engine and gearbox from a Toyota MR2, mounted longitudinally in the front driving the rear wheels. The roof is lowered in two sections, the top can be removed and fits in the boot, creating a ‘targa’ style roof, and the rear portion folds down like a typical convertible. The project was abandoned and Lotus begun work on a front wheel drive alternative (the M100 Elan)
