So writing fanfic again after a while. Have two WIPs in progress for TUC. One is based on Season 2 episode 4 where So Mun's gunshot wound was more severe. Will also try to incorporate him being able to heal himself cause I mean he can use telekinesis and also go inside people's minds like Hana does so why not that?

The other one is for the finale where he doesn't wake up after convincing Ma Juseok to come back. He won't be in a coma again, more like healing sleep? Might include a sentient Yung with that cause in my mind he's like Yung's adopted child or something.

That's the rough outline of it I guess. Good luck to me.

overall season was very poor writing but lots of ambitious action scenes and fun cgi and entertaining visual moments. great outfits and acting from the villains but they weren't as personal and compelling as the s1 villains.

character development minimal the main theme of somun being equated to the demon was shallow and the character conflicts were not well constructed. ma juseok's character was just overall not written in a very convincing compelling way and that was what the whole season was structured around. hana's bplot was basically nonexistent jeokbong was just comedic relief and didn't contribute much.

unfortunately waste of hierora's skill visuals and star power. makes sense that the writing team is completely diff from last season actually.

overall feels like the production and writing theme spent more time thinking about how to make telekinesis fight scenes work and how to portray the demon stuff than they did on characters and a solid plot.

rant about the uncanny counter s2 under the cut

i gave the uncanny counter s1 a 9.5/10 rating and it's one of my favorite kdramas, so it's such a shame that i really don't think season 2 has lived up to season 1 at all. it started out really good (apart from a woman dying to further a mans storyline again) and with some awesome action scenes right from the get go, but there's been WAY to much focus on ma juseok (who is a completely new character!) and the other new character (jeokbong) has been both super annoying and useless. i liked juseok in the first few episodes but their biggest mistake, when it comes to the focus on juseok, has been that us viewers don't have a connection to him the way the main characters do! because the main characters have supposedly known him for 2 years when s2 begins, but to us viewers he's literally just been introduced. so when most of the season has been about how they're so sad over him, doing everything to save him, etc. i'm just not feeling anything at all because we barely know him. we haven't seen his relationship with the main characters apart from 2 flashback scenes! for example, if an evil spirit had possessed one of somun's two best friends from s1 instead THEN it would have made me feel something, because we already know those characters from season 1.

James Dean "Jayde" Ahn nasceu em Aeon, filho de Ahn Ryeowook e Cecília Evans. Sua infância foi consideravelmente comum, viviam a história típica de um comercial de margarina, com pais amorosos e uma condição financeira mais do que adequada. O filho único sempre foi motivo de orgulho para seus pais, esperavam que este fosse crescer para talvez um dia se tornar um médico ou advogado, suas expectativas eram altas e possuíam as condições de dar o melhor para o garoto. O objetivo maior era que ele se concentrasse nos estudos, e assim que pudessem arcariam com a faculdade do filho no exterior - ao menos era esse o plano. Todavia, as coisas mudaram completamente de figura quando Jayde tinha dezessete anos, que foi quando tudo pareceu desmoronar do dia pra noite. Seu pai era um investidor de risco, foi dessa maneira que conseguiu grande parte do dinheiro da família, e também como o perdeu. Repentinamente os Ahn estavam falidos e haviam perdido absolutamente tudo: a casa com todos os pertences, quaisquer outros imóveis, veículos, jóias e outros itens valiosos. Nenhum estabelecimento aceitava lhe contratar como empregado, não conhecia ninguém que pudesse lhe ajudar, e ainda por cima tinha essa sensação incomoda de que estava sempre sendo observado por alguém... Com isso, James acabou voltando aos braços de seu protetor, mesmo que o preço disso fosse caro. Foi assim que começou a trabalhar com pornografia, o que lhe parecia uma opção menos drástica do que a prostituição, realizando transmissões online ou vendendo vídeos para clientes mais exclusivos.
