1. favorite fic you wrote this year

I think "Sweet & Sour Chicken" probably takes the cake this year, I still think it holds up pretty well and it was really fun finally writing it!

9. longest wip of the year

as of rn my longest wip is 4068 words- almost done actually, I was going for a Halloween-esc fic but lost motivation right before the good part,,, I should finish it one day

10. shortest wip of the year

Now this depends on if you count the docs I have that are just vague ideas put down or a list of things I'd want to do in a fic. I'm gonna say we're not counting those tho, so my shortest wip of the year is only 152 words; it looks more like a fic summary though idk if that's really what it is or if that's how I started it alsdgh

14. a fic you didn’t expect to write

I think "'And they were soulmates'!" wins this one, it was something I decided to write completely out of the blue for someone as a thank-you gift lmao, I literally wrote it based off an old idea I randomly had thought of one day

18. current number of wips

Uhhh overall or from just this year?? Because overall I have 22 wips; 14 of them are from this year- these are the ones that weren't scrapped btw, there have been many more that I've ended up deleting

23. fics you wanted to write but didn’t

Literally almost all of my wips are things I would love to write to completion but just haven't lmao- Also, I have a couple of multi-chaptered works published that didn't go far before my motivation tanked that I would LOVE to come back to and add more to,, we'll just have to see if I can do it one day

Oh, hello! Thank you so much for asking! I love talking about myself!

1) From one to five stars, how would you rate your writing? (No downplaying yourself!)

Oh, hmmmm! I think I'd have to give it a solid four. When I reread it, I do genuinely find myself having a good time, even when I see all the flaws. Plus, I've had enough people tell me they like it and I can't assume they're ALL wrong lol. So, overall, pretty good, but there's always room for improvement!

2) Why do you write fanfiction?

Self gratification all the way, baby! Every piece of fanfiction I have EVER written was produced solely because one day I was like "Hm. I want to read that, but I want to read it this specific way." And when you're that particular about what you wanna read, you gotta be the one to make it.

4) Are there any writers that inspire you?

Not?? Really? At least not super consciously. Not in writing style near as I can tell. That being said! I absolutely love love love @maaiams world building in "And I will fight god (until he comes down to meet me)" and that's pretty much how I always imagine anything with Minecraft IRL.

7 What element of writing do you struggle with the most?

Meta wise, actually completing the thing that I started to write. Fun fact: I have posted over 238K words on AO3 over the course of five years. In that same time, I have almost exactly the same amount of abandoned material. Trust me, I spent a few hours mathing it out one day. I have a spreadsheet

As for what part of the actual story I struggle writing, I would probably have to say action scenes or anything super angsty. I don't picture scenes well enough to write what I'm seeing in action sequences and angst is just a no-go for me. I'll write fluff and humor with an undercurrent of implied angst and I can generally muddle my way through genuine heartfelt moments, but I don't do bummers.

If Twilight wins, ThornPrincess owes him ten thousand dollars. And if ThornPrincess wins?

With the exception of his young daughter, Yor finds Twilight to be a boring, shallow man. Her night is a bust until she startles a waiter with her assassin’s grace and ends up meeting a kindred soul.

tldr: Yor goes to a ball, insults Twilight several times, contemplates stealing adopting his adorable daughter, kills some people, and goes home a married woman.

The problem with being a builder was that you tended to only really start playing the game really late into the game. By then, the rest of the server members have already finished all their little bases and projects…Leaving them nothing else to do but to pester you as you build.

Myriad just wants to build their roof. The rest of the server has other plans.

it’s been like 1 hr and it already has over 30 kudos. I am literally watching the kudos count increase by a significant amount every few minutes

I used to get like maybe 30 kudos over the course of an entire week for one of my mcyt fics
