Misumi: Ah, Director-san~!

Kumon: You're here already, Director?! Sorry, wait a minute!

Misumi: We're still cleaning the room~. Once we're done, we'll call you!

Izumi: O-Okay…

Misumi: Thank you for waiting~.

Kumon: We've finished cleaning!

Izumi: (...I guess it looks pretty clean for now?)

Misumi: We sorted the triangles by their size and colors, then we tidied them up~.

Izumi: Is this treasure chest the one that…

Misumi: Yup! This is the treasure chest that Madoka gave me during our Pirates play.

Misumi: Fortunate error?

Izumi: Fortunate error is like, when you messed up on something but the outcome turned out better than you were expecting.

Misumi: Hm, I see… If that's so, I have one!

Izumi: (This is from the third day of our day show. During this scene, the pirates were fighting with the navy.)

Paul: "Stop fighting back! It's useless. Hand over the Blackbeard at once! Hyaa!"

Sky: "Not bad, naval officer."

"Hmmph!"

Paul: "Wha…!?"

Sky: "..."

Izumi: (His acrobatic moves were splendid as always, but he ended up landing behind Paul…)

Misumi: Henry was actually the one who was supposed to be driving Paul into the corner in this scene. I got panicked because if we kept going at this rate, I'd steal Henry's spotlight~.

Izumi: Is that so? But Sky was totally calm in this video. You didn't look panicked at all…

Misumi: Ehehe. But then Tenmaーー.

Johnny: "Eat this, you damn navy! Huh, eh, EHHHH…!? GYAA!?"

Sky: "WHOAH, JOHNNY!? WHOAAH!!"

Francois: "Hey! What an idiot, bumping into your ally and falling like that!"

Paul: "Hah, that's small fry for you.."

Henry: "Good grief… I've got no choice, then…! Haa!"

Misumi: Thanks to Tenma's tact, the audience was laughing. Besides, we succeeded in connecting that to the next scene.

Tenma is indeed amazing!

Izumi: He sure is agile and has the ability to make quick decisions.

I remember during this time, Tenma-kun was still studying his role as the funny underling Johnnyーー.

This adlib brought a really good effect for both Tenma-kun and the play, in my opinion.

After this show, Sky and Johnny's interaction became more funny and cute.

(This is one out of much evidence that shows how the Summer Troupe's comedy continues to evolve.)

Izumi: (Misumi-kun… He held Hakkaku-san's treasure chest while staring at the screen as if he was watching something precious to him.)

Misumi: Ehehe… I discovered a lot of things after watching this for the first time in a while!

And it helped me remember something awesome~!

Izumi: Is that so? Okay, then. While you can still remember what it is, let's shoot the video message part.

Misumi: Okay!

Misumi: It's done!

Izumi: (So that's what he remembered… That's Misumi-kun for you.)

When Sumi-san was talking about the treasure chest, I recalled what the others told me. Then, before I knew it, I started crying…!

Misumi: Kumon~. There, there.

Kumon: Uuuu~! Sumi-saaaan!

Izumi: Have you calmed down?

Kumon: Yup! I really love everyone in the Summer Troupe, after all! I also love Summer Troupe's plays!

Misumi: Yeah, me too!

Izumi: Well then, we're going to shoot Kumon-kun's part next. Roll the dice.

Akiyama: "Cheerleader…!"

Male Student B: "She's from the baseball club, right."

Male Student D: "Excuse me."

Washimiya: "There, I recruited some new members."

Izumi: (The new members she recruited were 1… 2… 3… huh?)

Kumon: There was supposed to be four new members in this scene.

Izumi: That's right! But we were missing one more person, right.

Kumon: Yes, that's why there were only three people on the stageーー.

I was supposed to say, "Four at once!?" But because of this, I didn't know what to do and panicked.

I knew I could've just changed the line to, "Three at once!?" However, I didn't think of that at all at the time…

Enomoto: "But Washimiya-san sure is cute in that cheerleader outfit. I took some photos and sent them to my friends…"

"Whoa, that was fast! One of them said... 'I'll join the baseball club!'"

Akiyama: "F-Four at once!?"

Kumon: Thanks to Kazu-san's adlib, I managed to say my line as it was.

His quick response and adlib was so cool, it wasn't awkward at all. I got goosebumps!

Izumi: I was also impressed by him. He managed to come up with a follow-up that was still in line with Enomoto's character.

Kazunari-kun is quick-witted, so his tact is different from Tenma-kun and Misumi-kun when it comes to this.

Kumon: Before our final show… I was worried how I couldn't throw in ad libs as good as the othersーー.

But you told me that ad libbing will always be like a decoration that you put in when you have the space.

I totally get it now. But stillーー!

Now that I've gradually gotten used to acting on stage, exchanging ad libs is super fun. Even the audience is also enjoying it.

That's why I'm going to get better for everyone in Summer Troupe and the audience!

I'll work harder and harder during rehearsal!

Izumi: Yes, I'm looking forward to it!

I tried my hand on giving a design to Junpei Miyazato at last...!

Junpei is the grandson of Takao Miyazato aka. the professor of the Miyazato-Seminar (Zenji Marui’s bookclub you’ve seen int eh anime.)

In the timeline of SnKimiko, Madoka Enomoto took over the seminar (now called Enomoto-Seminar) but she’s still in close contact to her former professor. This eventually leads to her introducing the professor’s grandson to her best student, Chieko Marui.

Junpei is basically who made Shigeo realise that his feelings for Chieko might possibly go beyond mere business. Because seeing him with her never fails to make Shigeo incredibly jealous and Junpei’s Name alone becomes a major pet peeve for him.

Junpei is also for the longest time the guy that most of Chieko’s associates prefer for her. Her parents do take some measures to set these two up time to time.

-He isn’t seen a lot, but yes!! I have headcanons of him. My favorite one is that he acts like a dad to his friends. He’s the dad friend. He’s fun to hang out with? Also, he gives the best advice when needed?

-Actually really loves sports? Like he’s so down to play sports with people but he doesn’t think a lot of Totsuki students are interested in it. He does greatly appreciate it if someone offers to play with him though!

-Someone who’s capable of several Cuisines- and he’s someone who’s well-informed about all of it. He’d be able to make a dish inside majority of the Cuisine Styles and it ?? tastes?? very good?? He’s a talented chef!! 

Madoka Enomoto

-I love the thought of her actually wanting to be an emcee before? But because of her being too shy to do so, she ended up not being one. Sometimes she still wishes that she had enough confidence though.

-A smart student herself! She never got a failing grade when it comes to tests yet! However, there are time where she fails to satisfy the teacher’s tastes but she’s still doing her best! She wants to graduate from Totsuki after all!

-Might be really shy, but once you get to know her more- she’s one of the nicest people ever? She’s just so kind and loving towards her friends!! She also is really nice to her underclassmen? Bless her?

Nene Kinokuni

-She’s more focused on studies than anything else, and it’s because she wants to be the best in her generation and she wants to be praised by her family members. Sometimes, she ends up overworking herself so sometimes she sleeps on her desks.

-There are people who consider her cold-hearted- and she knows that people do. She ignores whatever people say, but in reality she’s pretty soft. She actually likes people appreciating her as long as they don’t go overboard. [Like… those fans from the crowd that one part of the anime/manga… she doesn’t like that]

-Personal headcanon but like- I think there’s more to her “wanting to beat Isshiki”. It’s not only because he does anything so perfect easily, but I like thinking ever since that- her parents paid more attention to him so she did feel pretty bitter about it.

Momo Akanegakubo

-One of the people who takes the LONGEST to finish fixing up. The reason? She wants the perfect dress to fit the mood and the place? She wants to look perfect? So picking out the right clothes take her forever. She wants to look the best! and she will look the best!

-Actually owns two beds. One is for her to sleep on. The other? No, it’s not for her lover. It’s for Bucchi. Her stuffed toy owns a bed, but sometimes?? It doesn’t even go on it because like??? She ends up hugging it while sleeping? So there’s no point

-I like believing that she also has a lot of boards in Pinterest. Like it’s just filled with cute things and it’s really organized? Like some of it is Summer ; Outfits, Summer ; Vacation Spots, Summer ; Sweets and stuff like that? Like it’s all about organization and what’s cute and pretty?

Urara 🤔

Why I like them - Many people seem to dislike Urara it feels, but I never did. For a side-character, I think she’s honestly fine and actually also quite entertaining (Although, I do have to say that in RDC she can get a little less likable tbh). Generally, I think arrogant characters can honestly be great fun (I mean look at Kuzco from Emperor’s New Groove) and very funny sometimes. And Urara fulfills the role as Primadonna just greatly imo. I love how two-sided she secretly is and the gags that ensue through it. Another big plus is that I just kinda have a knack for Emcee-Characters? Maybe because I did bits of hosting-work in a school project once and had some fun with it so meep. I just enjoy watching characters do this kind of work. 

Why I don’t 

Favorite episode (scene if movie) - Episode 22, dunno man, her hosting the Autumn Election Premlins was just the most fun to me out of all her hosting jobs

Favorite season/movie - Season 1 + 3 

Favorite line - “I’m the only one who should have fanboys around here.” (Episode 7)

Favorite outfit - Uh...Her Geisha-Gown in her one foodgasm maybe?

OTP - Her and Shoji Sato, for not much reason but I think it could be very, very, VERY cute. (I should write a fanfic to truly elaborate my concept)

Unpopular opinion - She’s not as bad as many like to make her out to be for me?? She does not even get much exposure to begin with after all and as I’ve said, I do find her pretty entertaining whenever she is there. 

A wish - I wish she could have had a little bit more interaction with the rest of the 115th. Like in one chapter in RDC, Ryoko (I think) says that Urara truly just went and betrayed them all but I’m like “Y’all never interacted with her?? Is it really betrayal?” 

An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen - As I’ve said, some moments of her during RDC were not really my thing either, I guess.

Um…Raiden is somewhat hurt by the fact that Erik kind of shuts him out when he comes to Totsuki.

He never particularly wanted to be a chef. He only came to Totsuki for Akane’s well-being.

RxA endgame (although he always felt like it was kind of inevitable).

He would never admit this out loud, but he wants to become the CEO of the Nakiri Group and make the Totsuki Network more modern and progressive.

It would be more likely if he was already mad at the person because of something, or if his family or friends were pressuring him to do something.

Singing. It’s not something he thought to put much effort into, he actually has a really nice voice.

She kind of had a platonic crush on Akane when they first met.

How much she enjoys being in charge. It’s not something she was socialized to want, so it’s strange for her.

Marui Yuna 

1. Who do they look up to?

Yuna sees her cooking as part of a larger intellectualist culinary tradition. She looks up to chefs who ground their practice in their knowledge of academic disciplines (like history, Anthropology, chemistry, or environmental science). A few she really respects are her father, Shiomi Jun, Enomoto Madoka, and Nakiri Alice. 

2. Who do they look to for guidance?

Mostly her dorm friends. She has unending trust for Maria’s judgement, Utau’s information (i.e. gossip), and Mizuki’s experience—both romantic and culinary. 

10. Sacrifice the one to save many, or save the one no matter the cost?

Yuna would definitely save the one. She feels pretty strongly against using people as pawns or sacrifices. Most of the Polar Star kids would answer the same way. They have a really strong “all for one, and one for all” mentality as a friend group. 

Hayama Akane 

4. Who is someone they’ve hurt?

The original president of the French RS dropped out of the academy after losing to her because that organization had meant everything to him. It wasn’t Akane’s intention to push him out of the school; she had no problem with him personally, but she needed the French RS, so she took it. 

In retrospect, she regrets everything about the way that situation went down, but she takes special care of the French RS so all the drama wouldn’t be for nothing. 

8. Is there anyone that they currently aren’t speaking to? Why?

Akane has made the decision to limit contact with her maternal grandmother because she’s always been hypercritical and judgmental. When she had appendicitis (more on that later) Grandma Arato actually yelled at her in the hospital for making Erina interrupt her schedule to come see her. That was definitely the breaking point. 

9. What is something that would break them emotionally?

If something ever happened to one of her little siblings or mentees, it would be really difficult for her to come back from. 

10. Sacrifice the one to save many, or save the one no matter the cost?

Akane would sacrifice the one. She’d think that if the choice was left up to her, she would have a responsibility to make the soundest decision—even if it happens to be one that would make it hard for her to sleep at night. 

30. What is their ideal sleeping situation?

To fall asleep on a lavender scented pillow while watching Netflix with someone (probably The Godfather with Raiden for the umpteenth time)

Isabella Mito-Aldini

3. What would it take for them to betray the person they love?

A lethal combination of pride, temptation, and booze would probably do the trick. She may mess up because she’s trying too hard to pretend she isn’t in love. 

16. What is the most romantic thing someone has done for them?

For Bella, it’s actually a two-way tie.

Kobayashi Haruo randomly flew her to Bordeaux to have a 3 Michelin star dinner and go wine tasting. 

Ibusaki Sosuke threw pebbles at her window Romeo-style and scaled the Nakiri Mansion just to cuddle with her when she had the flu.

She’s fine with the spirit of it, but wouldn’t do it in mixed company. She hates the idea of someone assuming she’s not a serious professional because she’s sucking face with a guy.

Singing! Drunk Bella thinks she’s an idol, but she’s really not. 

36. Are there any holidays or celebrations they dislike?

Her dad’s side of the family is pretty into Easter, but she’s not into it. Bella is like “give me my Cadbury egg and keep it pushing.”

5.What is a secret that they have?

Sometimes she wears gloves while she’s cooking to protect her manicure, not her ingredients.

The ever-increasing price of black lipstick! Something has got to give if she’s gonna maintain her look! 

Eizan Eijirou 

25. What is something they think they’re bad at, but are actually pretty competent at?

Cooking, actually. He’s always maintained that he’s more of a culinary businessman than a chef (like his father) but his food constantly puts him close to the top of the 118th generation.

Painting. He wanted to learn so he could impress Akane. The boy is so bad it it!

Sleep! Or make some tea and watch a documentary.
