Very unwell about madrugaduo tonight

like…. q!bagi would be so much worse if not for q!bad. she was lonely, amnesiac but found a best friend, someone who keeps her company on this island, who she could trust in 100%. he has been there to support her in everything- their long late night chats, him giving her so much advice, the emotional pain of dealing with her brother, fighting through purgatory, he has always been there when she needed it

and I know for a fact that q!bad would be a million times worse if q!bagi never came into his life when she did. at his most depressed, she’s saved him so many times. like that day he was crushed to find out q!forever went missing… she promised to not leave him alone, and really stuck next to him the entire day. always attentive to his pain, always hugging and reassuring him. there’s no doubt in my mind part of the reason he has even got this far is because of her

and then today just-

dapper met q!bagi for only a moment and took a liking to her immediately, already giving her a family title. the kid has no clue who this person is, but it’s almost like they can sense it. that she is someone special, who was there for his dad when he couldn’t be. so she’s family now

how am I supposed to be normal about this

do you know the feeling of wanting something so desperately you tear at it with all your might? have you ever needed to go through a door that's locked and all you can do is pound your fists on it, hit it until it pains you?

q!bagi yesterday hitting q!bad reminded me of that.

every hit of that frying pan came out like begging on her knees to please don't forget her, please. don't do this when she just got him back. please don't do this when he's here where she can reach him and yet he's as far away as the woman she loves and the brother she devoted her life to. please don't leave her too. please come back.

This doesn't have all their kids in it but I wanted to recreate the moment when bagi and empanada found out bad was alive and well^^ which I don't think dapper was present for....

Side note - still trying to figure out what their duo name means, I assume it's not in English and idk how to find out what it means so if anyone knows lmk^^

oh btw, q!bagi writing in her month 1 journal that “Things seem more simple when i’m near him” about q!bbh killed me. i honestly never thought someone would see him in that way because q!bad himself loves to be very complicated about things so it’s very sweet
