So we’re all familiar with the nightshade family right? Especially the poisonous ones like deadly nightshade, or bittersweet nightshade.

BUT, were you aware a number of nightshades are harmless and in fact, edible? (You probably did, but I digress) Anyways, Atropa is a bittersweet nightshade plant as shown by his distinctive flower, but I’m just thinking of him having a cousin that’s like, a tomato plant dryad (as the two often get confused) and their just like… “Oh yeah, I can see the resemblance. But no, he’s just a weird one.”

Heyo~! I don’t think I’ve done any content for @darkandtwistedasmr’s universe yet, but I’ve had this Oc for awhile and I’m so excited to share her with the world! Everyone, meet Candela Everbright! The first ever human student to attend the Blue Rose Academy, Candela (Much like her name suggests) is a bright young lady and fast learner. Her family owns a well renowned candle shop in her hometown and as such she is very proficient with candle magic~

Say hello to Patricia Solanaceae, a potato plant dryad and student of the Magic Academy!

Patricia (also called Pat, or Patsy) belongs to house Eternius, is good friends with Eilo and loves all things agriculture. She grew up on her family farm in the Aubrie Isle countryside, and belonging to the Solanaceae family (nightshades), she’s actually cousins with Atropa. (Though she considers his side of the family to be “the weird ones”)

Bonus fact: She is 3ft 6in, as is the height for an average potato plant. Sadly though this often leaves her being quite literally looked over.

Hey!!! can I ask for your ❤️ headcanons for Aura from Dark and Twisted Whisper please?

Absolutely my friend~!

❤️- So we’ve already seen how far Aura is willing to go if someone were to hurt you. (Emotionally or physically) But ask far as comfort goes, I feel like he would probably meet you where you were at as far as boundaries go. Now, I know that sounds out of character considering he’s a yandere, but hear me out. Aura is only secretly obsessed with the listener, which means he doesn’t necessarily want them to find out just how much he’s interested so they won’t be scared off. None of this to say he wouldn’t comfort you of course! But he’ll only occasionally dance over the line you’ve set up as far as how much you’re willing to be comforted. You want cuddles? Get ready for whatever the heck a slime snuggle feels like. You wanted some snackies? He’s got you a whole ass meal. Need some time alone? Well he won’t leave you alone for super long, but he won’t bother you too much aside from checking in on you intermittently. (And tbh he’ll probably watch you while your alone just in case)

I don’t think I mentioned this anywhere, but I wanted to say Candela is in Abyssal house! Now if you know anything about the houses, you’ll probably be wondering why she would be in Abyssal as opposed to Eterenius. So did I when I took the quiz for her; but, the more I thought about her character the more I realized just how connected she was with the ethereal aspect of magic. She’s descended from healers who used candles to draw magical energy from the world around them, pulling the very essence of the universe into themselves to heal.

In addition to that, she’s used to knowing the uses and applications of magical herbs without necessarily knowing the technical aspects of why exactly they work. In fact she’s so in tune with the ethereal, that sometimes she’ll weave magic into her creations without meaning to. And as a healer (informally trained by her tias and abuelas) of course she’s familiar with the anatomy of magical creatures. However, unlike some members of Abyssal *cough cough* Atropa *cough cough* she sees her patients as people, rather than symptoms or specimens to be studied and treated accordingly.

Candela Everbright~! 🕯️ Pt 2

The last one was a more in depth backstory so these will be more fun facts :

-Candela has an identical twin brother named Carver. (He is ftm trans)

-She has lots of cousins, a set of grandparents on both her mom and dad’s side, and two little sisters, (also identical twins) Catalina and Catarina. (But most people just call them the Cece’s~)

-Candela spent summers on the Everbright Hacienda with her tíos and learned to ride horses there!

-She is currently in the Art club and Food Ritual club at the Blue Rose Academy

-Candela has a wand shaped like a candle stick that she will attach certain candles to, in order to perform or enhance certain spells

-She uses the resources of the Art club to make candles for her wand (and as gifts)

Rosalie: It can result in, physical fatigue, lowered inhibitions, and impaired brain function.

Candela: Thats right, now march yourself to bed mister!

Rosalie: ……but I don’t wanna go to bed.

Candela: Im gonna start counting.

Rosalie, scoffing: As if I care, I am not a child.

Candela: One, two-

Rosalie: Oh alright!
