astraphobia -> is an abnormal fear of thunder and lightning or an unwarranted fear of scattered and/or isolated thundersstorms, a type of sepcific phobia. 

The clapping sounds of the thunder, as it goes through the storm. The league has finished meeting for the next attack. Toga skipped along through the alley, looking for someone to get blood. Shigaraki went back to his room and played his video game, Mr. Compress went out for the things he needed to take care of.

While dabi, twice, and spinner were the only ones who were left in the lounge room. Dabi started to walk away from the room. He didn't mind getting wet in the rain. But somehow, he seems fond of it. The rain was strong. By any second, another lightning will strike randomly across japan. Luckily, it was nighttime and less pro heroes were there, so he covered himself from the rain and started to walk through it.

As soon as he arrived from an old apartment, He went upstairs and opened the door. You were not there. He checked the kitchen, bathroom, and the living room, but you weren't there. He went to your room, and you are not here either. He went to your wardrobe and opened it to see yourself with a blanket and trembling.

"That really scared you huh.", dabi started. You popped your head to see your lover, dabi with hot cup noodles in his hand. "You know how I feel about the weather.", you grumbled. You sniffed for how many you have counted. "I know it's childish of me to have astraphobia.", you said. Dabi placed the cup noodles on top of the drawer and sat beside you. You snuggled up to his figure and tried yourself to get comfortable. "Woah, so eager doll.", he said. "Hold on.. let me just.."

He cradled you so that he and you will get comfortable. He patted your head several times just for you to calm your nerves down. To his dismay, things may not happen to what he has planned.

*thud!*

A loud thunderclap just simply appeared, you flinched and started to tremble. "a-a li-lightning is.. comi-"

*PANG*

"AAH!", you tighten your grip onto dabi's shirt. our breathing was heavy. "There, there doll…i’m here.. don’t be scared.", he whispered in your ear as a reassurance. “t-the-thunder.. a-and lightnin-ggng-”

Minutes later, you calmed down. When you calmed down, there are no more thunders and lightning. You two were sitting down on your bed with slightly warmed cup noodles on both of your hands. “Thanks again for sticking up with me.”, you blurted out. He looked at you and just slurped.. “woah, woah, if you’re trying to tell  me something, just tell me doll. I won’t judge.”, he said while eating. “Hey, don’t talk when your mouth is full.”

You gave him a look and rolled your eyes. With a peaceful midnight with you ad dabi, eating cup noodles, is just so perfect. No one was disturbing the both of you. Just the sounds of raindrops falling onto the concrete road, windows, and on the car’s roofs. 

Now that laying down beside him just feels so right. As if it was a puzzle that just fits so perfectly when you put them together. You can feel his hands, playing with your hair. The coldness of his staples makes your skn shiver to the cold temperature it has.

“thank you again for being here with me touya, i really am.”, you said. You heard him chuckle at your words. “It's now Touya huh, that’s new. I’m not complaining though…  it’s just so… new to me i guess, whatever”

A soft chuckle came out from your mouth. “hah, say, do you want me to call you Touya when we’re… alone? I will call you dabi when we’re out though.”, You suggested. “It's fine for me.. whatever you want.”, he replied. 

“Come to think of it, you never called me by my name, ya. You would always call me ‘doll’ ‘angel’ hell.. even ‘cupcake’.”, you said. “It sounded better when I called you those pet anms, sweetheart.”

“so now it’s sweetheart huh”

It's always been like this.Ever since the relationship started, he didn’t treat you like you expected. You thought he would change a bit just for you but you were wrong, you let yourself expect more from him to the point you got hurt by your own expectations. Now, you are about to sleep on your shared bed with Bakugou, but he is not here. It doesn’t feel right. The other side of the bed was empty and cold.

The next day arrived and you woke up with another tear stain from your cheeks from your excessive crying in the middle of the night, you wiped those stained cheeks you had and went to the bathroom. As you went down stairs, you noticed that there was a figure on the couch, your mood lightened up to see Bakugou, sleeping on the couch. It hurts to see that he didn’t even bother to sleep with you on your shared bed. You also noticed that he’s not been taking care of himself lately. You rush to the kitchen and get a clean and soaked towel with lukewarm water. You were done on half of his body. Just when he woke up, he let out a small groan.

“are you feeling better-”

“go away”

“-b-but! you’re injured and dirty! i can’t just leave you hanging like thi-”

“Cut the shit out! I don’t need your pitty for fuck’s sake!”

He hit your hand away from him, making you flinch. “You’re always clinging to me like a damn glue, now fuck off”, he added. You tried to stop your tears again from flowing because of him, raising his voice on you. “Now, you’re gonna cry after that? fucking weak. why am i even being with you huh?”

Your heart sunked even deeper as you heard those words from him. He never said those actual words in person. As if those words kept repeating all over again. “Was that all am I to you?, you whispered. He looked at you blankly. 

“t-then… Why did you agree to date me in the first place?!”, you cried. “You could've rejected me, hell, even simply treated me like a stranger but you said ‘yes’ and I fell hard on you!”, you breathe out from the words you said.

Bakuguo scoffed at you. “Wanna know why I said ‘yes’? It’s because you were annoying! you kept coming at me like a pest and i can't stand it! katsuki this, katsuki that. It’s sickening!”, he replied. “t-then what about those things that you love me? kissed me?”, you argued back. “stop dreaming! I only did that to shut you up!”

You stood up from where you were crouching earlier, the only thing you wanted was to help him. You didn’t expect this fight to be more painful like the last time. “I'm so much of a fool to love you katsuki…. i tried everything.”, you sniffed. "Oh yeah? you just realised it by now? congratulations. I guess you weren’t that much of an idiot.”

Exactly 2 years had passed since the break up. You feel  a lot better now, you feel more confident, and more open than your old self. And For bakugou’s case, feels something was missing. But every time that he feels that sensation, he just brushes it away like he was supposed to. 

“woah! todoroki! I didn't know you had a girlfriend! let alone that you are engaged now!”, irishima said. “hm, thanks, my fiance doesn’t like that much attention when dating.”, he replied.

 “oh! I guess she likes it more like a private one, but that’s understandable.”, denki added. Bakugou only listened to the ongoing conversation. What if you two lasted? Would this happen too?

The day of Todoroki's wedding has everyone that he wa scose with, his friends, and his family. Of course, he was invited too. He finds it a waste of his time. He was too absorbed by his own world.

But what he didn't expect was that his friend's bride was to be you. Wearing the most gorgeous gown and a veil covering your face and figure. You looked so peaceful, and most of all….more happier. As dramatic as this would say, he felt defeated. The way your smile curved up like you always did for him. You loved him.

If he could turn back the time. If only he could. He regretted it so much that he ended up leaving the ceremony before you took the vow.

Most relationships that lasted for a quite while, each partner would mostly introduce their partners to their parents. And that's what you are doing right now. Your boyfriend, Shinsou Hitoshi, agreed to meet your parents. 

It took a lot of courage to ask your parents to meet him. The first time you asked your parents to meet your boyfriend, you were nervous because your parents are strict when it comes to relationships involving you. 

You and your boyfriend were out in the UA dorms, walked to the station to go to your parents house and to get dinner together. Now that the both of you are here at the doorstep of your parents house, both of you were nervous especially Shinsou because this is his first time meeting your parents outside of school.

"Hey, you okay?", you asked. He looked at you with his eyebrows wriggling. "Do I look like I'm okay?", he asked back. You giggled at his response. You held his hand and gave it a small squeeze, showing that everything's gonna be fine.

"Look, if you're nervous about meeting them, me too, I'm quite nervous about what they'll say about you.", you gave him a little reassurance to calm his nerves. "Thanks, i'm really needing it.", he thanked you. You gave him a warm smile. "Are you ready?", you asked. He nodded and you knocked on the door.

A minute later the door opened to see your mother smiling at the both of you. "Y/n! It's so nice to see you again after all of your school work and school stuff! Oh! Are you my daughter's boyfriend? come in come in, your dad is in the kitchen.", your mother informed. 

"You know your dad. He loves to drink coffee all the time. So, we will do the formal introductions when we're at the dinner table okay? Sounds good?", your mother asked. You two shook your heads. "Sure, no problem at all.", you replied.

"I'll bring him to my room mom, call us if we're about to have dinner.", you called. Your mother shouted in agreement since she was in the kitchen.

You let shinsou come inside your room and you plop yourself on the bed. "Nice room by the way", shinsou started. You gestured to him to sit down on your bed. " So how was mom?, you asked. "Well, your mom is pretty chill actually. I think she likes me.", he replied.

You giggled at his response. "I'm glad, but you have to meet my dad. By the way, your mom and my mom are completely the same. They have the same attitudes. I like her vibes. And your dad too, he was like the opposite of you. He's more energetic than you. And of course you're perfect to me", you said with your shoulders shrugged. He playfully rolled his eyes on your remarks.

A knock on your door made you jolted. "Y/n! Dinner's ready!", your mom called. You and Shinsou got off from the bed and went downstairs.

As soon as all of you sat down on the dinner table. The atmosphere was tense and awkward at the same time. You and your mother know what is the cause of the tension in the dining table. Your dad put down his water and asked shinsou.

 “So, what made you date my—"

"What he was saying is, what is your name? We'd love to finally know you.", your mother interrupted your dad's question.

"I'm Shiinsou Hitoshi, ma'am, sir, it's nice to finally meet you two. I'm currently on UA's hero course.", he answered. Your mom widened her eyes to hear what she just heard. "So you're a future hero then? HAHA! My daughter is really into-"

"Mom!"

Your mom laughed out loud. You shook your head in embarrassment. You dad made a fake cough, that was enough to get your attention and your mother. “So, Shinsou, I'm asking this because I don't want my child to be the reason for her downfall. Are you serious about her?”, your dad asked. You felt a slight squeeze on your hands. You squeezed back on Shinsou's hand, as a reassurance. “Yes sir. I am.”,he answered.

You dad nodded at his answer. And after that, the dinner ended with an awkward feeling. You brought your boyfriend to the garden to calm his nerves. “y/n, does your dad.. Like me?”, he asked. “Of course, he will like you, it’s— it’s just that.. Dad doesn’t say things directly.. It’ll take him quite some time.

Away from the garden, your dad was watching the both of you. “Come on, you’re making shinsou nervous… he’s a nice kid for y/n.”, your mom started. “Look, I know you and y/n were close a long time ago but things have changed.. She grows up as a person like everybody does. Having relationships and experiences is up to her.”

Your dad pondered for about a minute or so. “Okay, I trust the kid,'', he said.

The time when you and shinsou are about to go back to UA, Your dad insisted on driving you two to UA. The car ride was silent. You and Shinsou stepped out of the car, and your dad asked if he could talk to Shinsou  alone. Of course you distanced yourself from them and waited on the main gate.

“Is there anything you want to say sir?”, shinsou asked. 

“Take care of y/n.”

The moment Shinsou hears your father's words, his own world stops for a split second. “Yes sir, I will.”

“And don’t call me sir. Call me dad too, welcome to the family, hitoshi.”

“Thank you si— er i mean, dad. Thank you.”

The car drove off away from U.A, Shinsou was happy and excited to hear your father’s words. You saw him all giddy and upbeat. “So I guess things went smoothly?”, you asked.

“It was smooth. And hey, I got to call your dad, dad. Can you believe that?”, he smiled. You nudge your elbow onto his arms.

The sun has already shown up. You and yiur chilhood friend, bakugou who was ranting on how stupid deku were. The only thing you did was trailing some of his words back at him.

“that stupid deku… I swear i-”

You and Bakugou bumped into someone. You fell on the ground and so was the guy who was responsible for it. “ow…”, you groaned. Bakugou helped you back up with his hands pulling your other hand.

“Oi extra. Watch where ya goin’ next time!”, Bakugou scolded the boy.

“man, I'm so sorry.. i was in a rush, that’s why i didn’t mind the way.. my bad.”, he apologized. When he was about to go, the both of you locked on to each other's gazes. Both of you had no idea why you kept on looking at each other.

“Come on! you’ll miss the ceremony!”

“Wait up Eijirou! You’re too fast!”

You panted and getting slower on running. Krishima stopped hisvtracks and looked at your situation. He jogged towards you. "Come here, let me help you. Bakugou would be very mad at us.", he said. He lifted you up in bridal style that made you think of things. You blushed at the thought of it. 

Kirishima dashed off to the headquarters.

“ROGER THAT!”, you replied you separate yourself from the team. But suddenly, a tentacle got a hold of your ankle. You got dragged and been thrown to a nearby tree. 

Luckily, kirishima came to the rescue. “idiot! why are you here?!”, you asked. “you think that i’ll just let you go in the middle of the fight? and bakugou called me right after you left. “, he replied. Kirishima got dragged by the tentacle too.  You sliced off the tentacle that is about to attack kirishima.

“You idiot! Let’s get outta here-”, your eyes widen to see yourself get hit by the tentacle right on your belly. Kirishima’s eyes widen to look at the scene. “y/n! shit- hang on!”

“k-kirishima! there’s no point on healing...me, you dumbass.”, you weakly said. “no.. no… y/n!”, Kirishima cried.

The days turned to weeks, months, years, and a decade. Kirishima found himself sitting down under the oak tree where you usually sat down. 

His life kept on repeating, You met him. And when he met you, he hoped that in every life that he got reincarnated, nothing bad will happen to you. And so, he didn’t give up.

Now that he was meeting you once again after a fateful encounter. Your eyes started to tear up as if the bottle was full of water. It was just flowing right on your face, and so was he.

You let out a bitter laugh.

"I don't know you but when I see you, I started to cry.”

The cold busy city of musutafu in the night. There you are in the city's coastal building. Waiting for your lover that you have never thought of being with. You turned your head to look at the time. It glows and blinks as the time passes. '1:02 a.m' it says. You were bored. Everything around you was just a vunch of boxes and an old cushion. All you bought from your heists for your place was a clock. Yes. A clock. It was useless on buying more things when you will just frequently change places away from the police and pro-heroes.

A knock from the door made you jolted. You and your lover had a secret knock on coming each other's place. That way, you will know who it was. You opened the door to see dabi. "took you long enough.", you started.

"A lot of heroes recently have been roaming around. And, i've been returning nomus too.", he replied. He ruffled your hair. You let out a soft grunt from it. "does it feel good?", he asked.

"yeah."

You let him inside and locked the door. Dabi plopped himself on the cushion. "you could've just pat the cushion first. It's dusty.", you said as you pat down the cushion that you were about to sit beside him. You leaned you body onto his and letting your head rest on dabi's shoulder. “so, how was your day?”, he asked. you shrugged to upon his question. “i don’t know, going around the black market and just getting some good deals.”, you replied. “And, i saw toga while i was there. She had another friend with her side, purchasing some blades, She did greet me too.”, you added.

“uh huh, toga never mentioned this earlier.”, dabi commented. “maybe she forgot to tell you.”, you replied. 

“i guess so...”

You grabbed his burnt arm and started to touch the staples. Feeling every texture of his burnt skin is oddly satisfying How human skins would look on got burned of even got a chance to resist with the fire. Set aside from your thoughts,  “have you ever planned on changing your staples?”, you asked. “actually, i do. i want to change them with gold. But not today. I got no money.”, he answered.

Your eyes started to feel drowsy. Dabi noticed it because the way you lean on him became quite heavier. He let out a small smile on seeing slowly falling asleep. “you literally waited for me doll.”, he whispered. He let you fall asleep on his shoulders. Minutes has passed now that you are completely unconscious. He moved your head onto his lap, caressing your hair. He may not show it but he’s amazed on himself, He never had the thought of having someone to protect to. All of his life has been miserable.

Previously, before he met you, he was stone cold. An emotionless mass murderer. Planning on taking down endeavor and seeing his prodigy little brother shouto die, and watch his father’s horrified face and him, feeling euphoria from it. Hell, even he wanted the whole hero society burn to dust.

But until he met you. 

The first time he heard that he liked you was Mr. compress, he was the who pointed out for dabi. At first dabi denied it. There’s no such thing as ‘love’. Everything ends, and nothing lasts forever. He never saw Rei and endeavor being like a normal married couple in his life. Now, all he can say his nothing. If he was able to recollect all the thing he did for yous surprising. He chuckle at the thought that, one time he gave you a gift. He did all the way just to get what you liked. Even you almost got caught by the police and pro heroes, he saved you by burning all of them. 

“the things i do for you, doll.”, he whispered. “what did you do to make me feel like this... For fuck sake i’m a villain. But when it comes to you sometimes i become a hero.”

Before he was fallen into a deep slumber, He leaned on your face and gave you a soft kiss, You instinctively reacted to the coldness of the staple, but you’re still asleep. Which it’s a good sign.

Today is the day, that you and bakugou would meet after his long mission from overseas. It took him almost a year and a half. It was hard for you and him. Can you expect that bakugou would ever survive without your morning kiss? your awfully mushy nicknames for him? fuck no. It's a hell for his life in a year and a half.

You drove off from your car to the airport to meet him you were quite nervous to think about it. It's been a while. You went inside the airport, and did some random checks before completely going inside. After that, you waited.

Bakugou himself, is excited to see you. AS IF HE'LL EVER SHOW IT PHYSICALLY. Just a little more time to arrive in japan. A few minutes later, the plane has arrived in japan. He sees new buildings that he' never been familiar with. The plane landed safely to the airport. All has left is to get his luggage and to meet you.

Thanks to his popularity, he didn't wait for his luggage to arrive. Instead, the crew themselves gave it to him. The perks of a top hero is different. You get special treatment in exchange for the safety of all people after all. He walked to the gates where you and him should meet but in his dismay, tons of his fans cane to see him. Someone probably leaked the information of him coming back from overseas.

If this was a contest on who find bakugou first against hawks, you won. You planned on sneaking up to him and you did. Being a stealth hero like hagakure, you used your skill on sneaking up to your almighty boyfriend.

You did an imitation to a gun your your hand and pointed it at the back of his neck. “you are under arrest for coming back in japan after a year and a half, dynamight. You are now under the custody of l/n y/n.”

Bakugou didn’t noticed that you were already there. “come ‘ere you dork.”, bakugou lifted you up and hugged you. “aww.. you’re being soft.”

“shut up this will be the only time that i’ll get soft on you on public idiot, it’s been a while.”, he hid his face on the crook of your neck. Feeling his soft breaths on you skin, he left a little peck on your neck and broke the hug. “come on, let’s get you home. i made your favorite.”,. you said. and you both left on the airport.

Bakugou immediately plopped himself your shared bed. “babe,”, he called. “hm?”, you hummed. “how does it feel sleeping all alone without me?”, he asked. you turned around and gave him a ‘what-the-fuck’ look on him. “i have an alternative.”, you answered.

“geez, calm down, i bought the dynamight body pillow-”

immediately, bakugou rummaged the entire bed to see the body pillow and rushed to the closet. You couldn’t hold back on your laughter and you laughed. Hard. “HAHAHAHHHHAHHA”

you put back your watch on to the drawer and to see katsuki’s wallet. You picked it up and opened it. Cards, Money, and id’s we’re of his wallet. You didn’t expect that he has his old license on your first year’s. And to you most surprise... You see your own picture. And this was taken on the school’s festival on your third year’s.

“this guy..”, you breathe out.

Bakugou came out from the closet and holding the pillow very tightly. He looked at you and he saw you holding something from inside of his wallet. You gave him a weirdly smile, telling him that you found something.

"what's with that look?", he asked. you held it high. “eh? you're still keeping my photograph in your wallet? geez you're a softie~”, you teased him. you noticed that he wasn't saying anything. this is bad. plus he was still holding the pillow. he threw the pillow on the trash can.

"what was that for?", you asked.

he removed his shirt and coming towards you. that's hot. AND a nice view. you put down both the wallet and yiur picture on the drawer.

ge lifted yiu as if yiu we're just a dummy you yelped at his sudden action on you. "katsuki! what's all of this?"

"'yer been sleepin' with a fucking pillow with my face on and i'm not having it. you need a lesson to remember.", he replied. he threw you on the bed and crawled over on top of you.

"i've been waitin' to do this after a fucking year and a half.", he smirked.

It all started on a simple mission. Infiltrating the U.A's summer camp. Led by dabi. With you on his side. "say dabi, just so you know, I like you.", you blurted out. Toga gasp and laughed. "really? Do you like dabi-kun? but he's already roasted though.", she playfully said while twirling her side bangs with her index finger.

Mr.compress chimed in the starting conversation with a small cough. "Ahem. Well, that was unexpected to hear." Even mustard tilted his head. "What the hell y/n. Be serious for once.", he added.

"But i am. Do i look like i'm joking? Better answer your basic calculus before joining the league.", you replied.

Dabi looked away and murmured something.

You shifted your head in the direction where he was looking at. "Were you sayin' something?", you asked. Dabi replied with an annoyed tone. "It's none of your business.", he replied.

You pouted. "hmph. Meanie.", you huffed.

This happened most of the time. Saying to dabi "I like you". But there's no avail. Every time you went inside the hideout, you would always greet him with 'good morning'. Most of the people in the league knew. You were that serious.

"good morning dabi!"

"It's night time so shut up.", he replied and looked away.

You went closer to him. "Come on! Don't be all sad 'n shit. You're no fun.", you tried to taunt him but there's no avail.

"y/n-chan! don't bother on dabi! you should've hanged out with that cute guys i told you!", toga chimed in. An idea struck on your head. "Well, news flash maybe i should try that."

Dabi shifted his eyes on your direction until you left the hideout along with toga. He stood up and mr. compress noticed it. “you’re going to follow them are you?”, he asked dabi. 

“it’s none of your business..”, he replied. Mr.compress scratched his head in confusement. “if you do really like her, why don’t you admit it already? you’re wasting the opportunity.”, he added. Dabi ignored mr.compress and left the hideout.

You and toga walked down on an alley. She was skipping on her way and you we’re just following her. You stopped your tracks and toga noticed it. Thanks to her overly sensitive senses. “hm?? y/n-chan? what’s wrong?”, she asked. You walked towards her and grabbed her wrist. “y/n cha- oof-”, you dragged her from a different route that you two will supposed to go. Toga was curious why, why did you do that?

“y/n-chan, is someone following you? i’ll cut them.”, she suggested. You shook your head in disagreement. “i, i just want to talk to you, alone.”, you started. “it’s been what, months of telling him that i’m serious for him yet, he clearly shows those ‘signs’ i clearly made it up on my mind. What i meant is that i’ve fallen too far. To the point that am i still convincing myself to like him. Unlike in the first, i was dead serious”, you let out tall the complications,and thoughts on your head to toga.

“look y/n, i gotta be honest to you, i kind of tired of seeing you like this, don’t get wrong but my way of loving people is different from you. If you kiss, i suck bloods. But the similarities of our own understanding is that we want to get close as possible the people we like, well, i sort of wanna kidnap them BUT! i think you should let go now and focus on yourself.”, toga advised.

You pondered about her opinion and you agreed. ‘but this won’t be eady as it might say.”, you commented.

“that’s the spirit! come on! i gotta go to giran to help me with the drugs that i’m suppose to give on camie-chan! ooh! i can’t wait!”

“so you we’re that serious on going to shiketsu.. Just be careful there... they’re sharp.”

“i will, i will.”

You came back from the hideout. Just as you went inside, dabi, was alone at the sofa. You went inside and hopefully, you would stat on avoiding him. At first, you and the feminine urge to greet him your usual ‘good morning!’ “good evening!’, and others. You successfully avoided him and talking to him if its about asking something or an important matter from missions.

Dabi noticed it too. He was used on you greeting him. But now, you are avoiding him. HE was a stubborn fucker. He knew that, everybody knows. What keeps him from returning the feelings is his pride. He doesn’t want to get ‘soft’ on someone. He practically grew up as a mass murderer and the cold type of person. But at the same time, he wants you. Hell, all for himself even.

To settle thins once and for all, dabi made a move. He just waited for the perfect time where you are alone and to confront you. The time happened and now There’s you against the wall and him pinning you.

“what’s all this dabi? if you’re gonna say something, you could’ve told me like a normal person.”, you started.

He hates this, was he too late? or are you trying to avoid him like a plague?

“what’s all of this? avoiding me as if i killed your pet cat.”, he asked.

You scoffed. “guess it dabi, i know you that know why. you can't? As expected. Leave me alone.", you tried to walk away from his prescence. Dabi rolled his eyes on your stubborness. "

"what's the point on loving someone when they're not capable of reciprocating it? Tell me dabi..", you lowly said. you looked up to meet dabi's eyes. God, they're intoxicationg. With just ine look and you'll be starting to melt. You blinked hard to stop those thoughts of yours. You made up your mind of focusing on yourself. Just this once.

"Y/n, shit... uh, i do like you..", he finally said it. You scoffed for tye last time. "Dabi.. i hate to break it to you but no. I made up on my mind that i wont't be bothering someone who's too hard to break. I gotta go.", for the last time, dabi ended up letting you go.

It was his fault. He was too late and left you on falling too hard to the point you fell out of love to him.

There, you stand on a podium. Delivering your last speech. You are proud of what you have accomplished. From the war, up until now, it made you even more stronger, and confident than your old self. Changing one’s self is scary sometimes. But staying the same is much more scarier. You bowed down on the stage and sat down to your respected seat.

“can’t you believe it? we’re graduating now, Time flies so fast.”, yaoyorozu said. You nodded at her comment. “yeah, it’s quite a ride for all of us. but hey, we are almost on becoming pros.”, you added. 

“i congratulate you all everyone on reaching this milestone! congratulations!”, nezu spoke and every one of you threw your hats in the air. The parents, guardians, pro heroes, staffs and teachers from the side clapped their hands to the fresh graduates. Soon, the Graduation ended. All has left with picture gathering, and some of them confessed. You and mina cheered for the new couple. “i knew that this was gonna work out!", mina happily said. "Yeah! Look at them oh my god- let me just take a picture..", you grabbed your phone.

You we're focusing on the new couple to take a picture of them. For memories of course. Mina was squealing beside you. You took a couple of shots to ochacco and midoriya. The right side, you saw your boyfriend, Tetsutetsu.

"Mina! How do i look?", you asked. "You look fine. What's wrong?", she replied. "I, i gotta go! I forgot to do something!", you said and ran away to catch him.

"Tetsu!", you called him.

He turned around to see you running towards him like a bull. Just when you're about to jump on him, a foot blocked on your way making you trip on something. "Woah!—oof!"

You looked up to see tetsutetsu. “man, you really should be careful when jumping on me.”, he said. You looked at the person who was with tetsutetsu. And it was Monoma with a sinister grin plastered on his face. “oh my! it’s not my fault that you tripped. This may be the fact that class-B is better than!-“, a hand chopped his neck.

Thanks goodness, kendo came to the rescue. “geez you never changed in the past 3 years of high school- oh! y/n! Congratulations! I better teach this boy a lesson. Have fun you two!”, kendo waved a goodbye, she used he quirk to grab monoma out from the hallways. You locked your arms around his muscly arms. “Congrats to you tetsu!”, you started. He playfully ruffled your hair. “thanks!”, he replied.

You pouted at him. “I hate you for ruining my hair but your welcome.”, you huffed. “come on! You’re still pretty when your hair is all messed up- I mean, in any form, you look pretty!”, he reasoned. You blushed hard at his compliment. "S-shut up..", you murmured.

"Come on! We should take pictures too!", he excitingly said. You nodded at him. "Yeah! Let's do that!", he agreed. You both took pictures for the memories of course, Years will pass, you will be laughing your ass off to see your younger face along with tetsutetsu.

Soon, the thunders started. Little by little, droplets of water started to fall from the sky. Your boyfriend, used his hat as cover to you, just for you to be dry from the incoming rainfall. you put your phone to avoid it from getting wet. You grabbed tetsutetsu’s wrist and pulled him onto the rain. “y/n!-”, he yelped.

a slightly pitched voice yelped and made a sound from the ground. Shoto drawed out his sword. Preparing himself for the danger he might be in. The rustling sound coming from the bushes became louder as he goes forward to it. He hid behind the big tree.

He took a small peek to see who it was. His eyed widened to the view he saw.

It was a fairy. She has transparent-looking wings that glistens when the sun shone underneath it. It was beautiful. He wouldn't believe that fairies existed. But now, he does.

You struggled to move since you bumped on a wild duck. It was unfortunate to you since it was your fault for not watching whenever you're flying. You felt a sting coming from your back.

You fluttered you wings a bit but you couldn't. Your left wing was ripped. It was probably from the branches of the bushes where you landed at.

"ow..", you softly groaned. "brother will be so mad.", you added. You stood up from where you fell on.

'snap!'

You froze from your position. You panicked and grabbed a small branch. "w-who's there?? sh-show yourself!", the approaching steps became louder and louder. You shut both of your eyes just in case. "are you okay?", you heard a voice. You slowly opened your eyes and saw a boy with a half-white and half-red hair.

"I mean no harm. trust me.", he said.

"h-how am i gonna trust you? y-you're a human!", you stuttered.

"Yes, i am a human but please, let me help you.", he insisted. You titled your head and raised an eyebrow upon your curiosity and suspicion upon him. "What's your name?", you questioned.

"I'm todoroki shouto from the kingdom of ice and fire.", he answered. "What is... your name?"

"I..I'm bakugou y/n."

Years has passed both you and for a strong bond. Lovers you would say. Until now, your older brother bakugou katsuki hasn't trusted shouto yet. He thinks that shouto has something up in his sleeve. Waiting for the right time to betray you.

"For the last time y/n. Don't meet up with that half n' half bastard. You don't know what he's planning!", bakugou said once again at you, going away from the forest to meet shouto.

"I told you already! He's not what you think!", you replied and flew away. You flew away from your home where you and bakugou lived.

From a distance, you saw a two toned hair. Immediately you flew towards him. "Shouto!", you called. He looked at you flying towards him. You let yourself fell on his arms in purpose.

"Y/n- oof- how was your day?", he started.

You talked while hugging him. "I.. don't want to talk about it.. maybe later. How about yours? Don't tell me your father is at it again.", you questioned him back. Shouto sighed at your question. “he did.”, he replied. You grunted to imagine the conflict you and your brother, and about shouto’s father.

“you know shouto... i kind of feel like the world is against us.”, you sadly said. He held your waist as he hid his face on the crook of your neck. “i felt the same way..”

you chuckled bitterly. “it sounds like you and me against the world. Both of our families hated us each other. Why is it like this? is there something wrong on falling in love with a different race?”, you cried.

It was always been like this. Your brother preventing you from meeting shouto. His father doesn’t want his ‘precious’ son to be “manipulated” by a fairy. Life is unfair. “it actually is. But i don’t care about any of that. Mother simply told me that there's nothing wrong on loving someone. Whether it be on different race. I fell for you and that's final."

Shouto wiped the tears that has been flowing on your cheeks. "Shhh... there's nothing to fret about. I'm here.", he reassured you. Then he gave you a soft kiss on you nose.

The sun was about to go down and rise up again for the next day, you we're waiting for shouto. Near the lake where you two usually meet. You made an effort on making a flower crown of daisies and your best white dress that you kept, made by your mother, mitsuki.

You sat down behind of the big tree. Wondering, where he could've went at this hour. It's suspicious to you because, shouto has the habit of coming here earlier than you.

You heard the horse's footsteps. You mood lighten up a bit to hear that he's here. You turned around to see an unfamiliar person. You wings drooped down as you felt at the moment. Like a dog's tail whenever they're upset or sad. "wh-who are you?", you stuttered.

"So this is where little shouto has been going. For a fairy.", he said and went near you.

"S-stay back!", you warned. You we're scared. A thought of you that you wanted to use your power. But you can't. You're powerless. A powerless fairy.

A huge net covered you. You became frantic. Was katsuki right after all?

"Alright. We got her. Little shouto will be so happy if he sees this. Oh, the name's dabi by the way, what's yours?", he asked. You didn't answer. You were silent.

"Come on, don't look all so gloomy. Trust me, i hated this job. I'm just following the orders. Don't take it personally okay?", he added.

You got carried by so-called carriage all the way to the kingdom. As you went inside, the people looked at you in horror and anger. You hear some gossips and some chatters.

"That fairy manipulated prince shouto!"

Prince? You never knew he was a prince. You just knew he was from the kingdom of ice and fire. “n-no.. i-it’s no-not like t-that-”, you slightly cried. You we’re delivered to the large area. You were surrounded by tons of people.To what you can remember, this the arena what would shouto said on his stories.

The guards pushed you to the ground and put on some chains on you. You looked at the man who was in front of you. It was the king. “cut off her wings.”, he ordered. Your eyes widened. “no! p-please!”, you cried. As the guards came closer to you, the tears in your eyes started to flow in more.

“please!- GAAH!”

The sting mixture with the pain coming from your back gradually increases as the first wing got cut off. After the second, your mind became blank to the pain you’ve felt. you became weak. You saw right in front of your eyes of your own wing, being held by the persons who got rid of it.

Your eyelids are getting heavier by seconds. Just when you’re about to pass out, an arm caught you. The familiar scent lingered all the way to your nose. You cried again to feel on his arms again. “i’m so sorry y/n... i should’ve that this would happen. I’m sorry.”, he apologized. “don’t worry. I have you on my arms, love. I’m here, shhh... Bakugou was worried about you. But unfortunately, he couldn’t come here, your people needed him.”, he added. 

A sword penetrated to the both of you and shouto’s body. “s-sho.. i’m scared of d-dying...”, you lowly said. “why can’t us be in peace? this... is so unfair..”

People say that a mere human and a fairy falls in love will be having a happily ever after. From different races, to the magical ones and to the ordinary ones. The case of Prince Shouto Todoroki of both fire and ice, has fallen deeply for the certain fairy.

A straight line? It represents  “moving forward”, or sometimes it was represented as neutral. But at the same time, nobody knows the exact of it.

It hurts him. It hurts emotionally and mentally to witness this. He can't greet you while you give him a sweet smile just for him, giving him the same reason to fall in love with you all over again. Feeling the warmth of your hands, intertwining them onto his. Complementing his Heterochromia orbs as he admires your gaze on him. Your soft peppered kisses on his neck and face. The way you say his name is almost sounded like a small lullaby for him and only ears are the only ones who can hear.

Here, the bi-colored number 3 hero: shouto. Was standing in one of the rooms of the musutafu hospital. Gazing at his lover as she fights for her life inside the room while he was looking at you with an anxiety-feeling flowing to his entire body.

He can't blame anyone for what happened to you. No one at all.

"dada?"

He heard a familiar voice. He turned around to see his mother, and his only 5-year old daughter, Miyuki. He can't cry. Not in front of his daughter. He mustered up all the sadness away to meet his daughter.

Rei looked at his youngest son worriedly. It's been so long to seen his son being this sad again. Like when he was a kid, this is the exact expression he's been making as of now. "Shouto...", she started. “you should take a rest in your home dear.. you look tired..”, she added.

He shook his head in disapproval. “no, it’s okay mother, y/n needs me here. Please, look after miyuki.”, he insisted. Miyuki herself knows the situation. She’s a smart girl. She was hesitating to say something to her father. “uhm.. dada? you should take a rest...mama, she.. she wants you too to take a rest.”, she shyly said.

Shouto kneeled and held miyuki’s hand. “dada’s going to be okay, don’t worry about me. Dada’s strong remember?”, he tried to reassure his daughter. Miyuki shook her head. “dada, take..a rest p-please...”, she said, almost tearing up. Shouto hugged his daughter. “sorry for making you worry angel.”, he apologized. 

“but dada, promise me you’ll take a rest okay?”, miyuki said then sniffed. Shouto looked at his mother beside them. She gave him a nod that he should take a small rest. “you two should go home, for now, I’ll be watching over her, fuyumi will arrive here soon.”, rei said.

"Thank you mother.", he thank his mother and held miyuki's hand. 

"No, this...is nothing shouto, y/n is my daughter too. This is what I could do at least for her as of now. Your father is trying his best on looking for the best doctors too..", rei replied. She caressed miyuki's head for a short while.  "Come on angel. Grandma will look out for mama okay?", he said and then they both left at the hospital.

Rei looked at your unconscious figure.

"y/n.. hang in there.."

After shouto and miyuki got home, he immediately made dinner for the both of them. What he didn't knew that out of his thoughts, he prepared a good for three person dinner.

"eh? You cooked dinner? Are you sick? did a weird quirk got you?"

His movement stopped as he remembered the first time he made dinner for both of you 6 years ago. He was never been that happy since then. He laid down the plates this time, he placed two instead of three. After that, he went to the living room where miyuki sat down.

Miyuki was not here.

In his instinct, he rushed to the garden. Hoping she was there, watching her pet rabbit for the meantime. But she's not here either. He then rushed to her room. Before he reached his daughter's room, he could hear soft whimpers coming from the door and finally she was there, laying don on her bed facing away from the door and curling herself like a small ball.

Shouto went inside and sat down on her single sized bed. "dada...w-will mommy be okay?", she weakly asked her father. He looked again at miyuki to see her holding a beige cardigan that belongs to you.

"mama will be better i promise, she's strong after all.", he comforted her. But in reality, he, himself doesn't know it at all. It's not that he's doubting you but to look at in reality, you were fighting so hard.

"Do you really meant it dada?", she asked once again.

He patted her head and gave a a warm smile. "Dada means it angel. Come on, mama and dada would appreciate of you will eat for today's dinner."

Now that miyuki is now asleep, he decided to get some sleep since it’s been roughly 2 weeks of him, getting lack of sleep. But he couldn’t feel the sleepiness. He felt like something is missing. You.

The space that you usually occupied on the bed that you and shouto shared feels cold and empty now. Those sweet moments you both shared in the same room. Be it be intimate and not. And your sleepy voice whenever you say your ‘good nights’ on him.He didn’t realize that he already shed a tear that has already flown to his chin. He shifted his head on the nightstand to see the time.

‘1:07 a.m’ it says.

In a sudden his phone rand. He jolted and got up to answer the call. His nervousness became much worse when he sees the name ID. He answered it immediately.

‘s-shouto! y/n is- please come here!’, his mother cried on the line. 

‘i already called natsuo to watch over miyuki, come here please.’

“i’m coming there. wait for me.”, he replied. In an instant, he rushed to the doors downstairs. and he didn’t bother to use the car anymore. He used his quirk to fasten his speed. As soon as he reached the hospital, he quickly went to your room. He didn’t saw his mother from the outside, his nervousness got worsen when he saw doctors and nurses surrounding the bed. 

When the door opened, the doctors looked at behind. He went near to the bed. the doctors and nurses gave a way to let him see you opening your eyes. His eyes widened to see you conscious again but your eyes are quite weak. 

“shouto..”, you called. The doctors and nurses left the room leaving rei standing beside you. Rei caressed your head for the last time. "I'll be leaving you with shouto now okay?", she smiled as she wiped the tears on her eyes. The door closed, leaving you and him alone.

You gestured your hands implying that you wanted ti hold his hands. He held yours and gave you a kiss on the lips and a soft hug. "God, i missed you, love.", he started. "me too, sho. Me too.", you replied.

"how was miyuki been lately?", you asked.

"Angel is been sad lately, you know what i mean. And besides to her health, she's perfectly fine.", he replied. "I see, you better take care of her. Promise me that sho."

"Come love, don't say things like that.", his voice was trembling quite a bit.

"Sho, there's no way i'm getting out of here alive..."

A tear flowed from shotou's eye.

"The doctors told me earlier. It's inevitable. It's hetting worse than i imagined.. but, thank you... and i love you sho. Remember that.", you softly said with a soft smile plastered on your face. "i already accepted my fate sho, but i'm happy that i got meet you— marry you even. You gave me miyuki. You gave the world for me. I- I'm really thankful for you.. i wish i could've give you more.."

The sounds of the heartbeat monitor was getting weaker as you speak. Shouto couldn't say even a last word.

You weakly raised your hand to wipe his tears falling from his eyes. "I love you shouto todoroki. Ans shhh... don't cry... i hate seeing you cry... you've been through a lot.. i don't want to be the reason for your sadness.. not ever... smile for me, okay?"

"y/n! please.. please... don't leave me..", he cried.

"Kiss me. For the last time.", you asked.

He looked at you smiling. Not showing any sadness. Maybe you really did accepted your own fate. A soft and and gentle hand held on you face as shouto tilted his head and closed both the gap between you two.

The kiss was soft, shouto could say things the way he wanted to but instead, by kissing you, you will know what he was feeling. The kiss lasted for a quite while. He then kissed your forehead for the last time.

"Sho?"

"Yes, love?"

"I'm getting sleepy, sho.", you weakly said.

If you accepted your own fate, why not he? He helped you gently to lay back on the bed. Before you closed your eyes, you saw him for the last time.

He smiled.

"Good night, y/n. I love you.."

Right after he said that you, the heart monitor beeped. It was time. You were sleeping. Peacefully with a small smile on your unconscious face. You never regretted anything.

The moment he looked at the monitor, he couldn't help himself but to cry again.

"Who would've thought that a straight line could change everything?"
