Kingdom Hearts 3 - Toy Box
#kingdom hearts 3#kh3#toy box#scenery#my gif#running around andy's room and seeing sora donald and goofy's toy themed appearance for the first time is such a vivid memory for me#they went so hard making that toy store it's soooo detailed. just imagine all of the assets needed to fill the place#box art for toys; video game cover cases; various figures/toys to put out on display for a variety of different toy departments#they could have remade al's toy barn but no they created this huge three story tall mega super store#it's every kids dream and looks too grand and amazing to be an actual existing building in the toy story canon lol#but even the plot elements of this world are so intriguing#there's the introduction of yozora; the gigas mechs; having sora thrown into a tv screen right into the verum rex game; split worlds#so much happens here and i just know it'll be fully recontextualized in future game installments#i'm really looking forward to that#but all of that aside it's really neat to be toy sized#it's all just such a fun experience. good world

my manager is trying to get me to go to our boston location again and asked me to go this friday and i said no !!!!!!! and i gave no explanation !!!!!!!!! this is a first for me 🫨

I DID NOT fall for the limited edition wedding costume gacha. I DID NOT go broke multiple times because of it, because I have a compulsive desire to collect things and complete sets, especially if they're limited edition (no that DOES NOT make me want them even more). No I AM NOT partially tempted to spend real money on rainbow cubes just so I can have a shot at that badass costume. Anyone stating otherwise is FAKE NEWS!!!!!!!

just applied for a part time job 😔 ough if im being honest
#do i WANT to work 2 jobs? not at all!#however i DO want to build my funds up some and thus i must#especially considering. Everything.#and with how wishywashy my job has been this year having a 1. fallback job that i already have in case i DO end up being laid off#2. have an active income in case we have MORE weeks off (which i already know we will in december)#and 3. just have a little more money in case of emergencies and so i can have a bit of spending money#so really aside from i know it'll make me Tired it's a good idea :(#especially with trying to run a fandom event OUGH#but that's only of i GET the job and im only applying for the one bc its at the craft store i worked at before#so i already KNOW how to do most of it it'll just be about refreshing and relearning and learning the few new stuff i know is there#anyway. widh me luck.#i DID saybi am currently employed and that i don't have open availability which ik is :/ when job hunting#cus computers will automatically throw out your application#and also i gave myself time on the end of my Big Job shoft to go home and shower before i would be willing to be at the Small Job#so we'll see if i even get an interview or anything lmaooo#shh ac

Man like it's been long enough and enough times that I know full well what it's like when I'm recovering from. Idk what even specifically whatever combination of burnout + work stress + depression. But knowing what it is still totally fucking sucks when you're going through it, you know? Like okay great I know what's happening with me and what caused it and that it should keep getting better. It doesn't change the fact that I'm feeling completely overwhelmed by the very basic things I need to get done and am so anxious I can't unlock my apartment door.
#I should probably check my mail to see if my new credit card is here yet but I just like. Idk I can't. It's so frustrating#I also need to get groceries make a run to the drug store/post office and do probably 3 or 4 loads of laundry#and that stuff is making me feel completely paralyzed. And I'm supposed to work this weekend??? Like. It's impossible

im gonna be real i don't understand the ps5 has no games thing because xbox games are like... has there been an xbox game people didn't openly mock since Reach? like i get not liking sony's super high budget prestige games that cost 200 million dollars, i'm sick of it too jim ryan greenlit 800 live service games and told people not to make sequels to old ips, not to work on backwards compatibility, and not to even continue current franchises. but at least they make games, microsoft bought the biggest publishers in the west to fire everyone and throw them in the gamepass mines
#i like xbox but it's been a downhill slide pretty much since halo 3#and it's sad to see people running interference for them when they're literally pulling physical games from all stores#laying off 50% of all their developers#pushing for all digital as much as possible#and fucking developers with gamepass#and STILL failing to make any money#nintendo needs to kick the whole industry in the balls with the switch 2 for real i want a serious shakeup

#sorry boutta be stoned lucus rambles#but he is right!#like point one is his merch#like its geninley nice subtle clothing#like you could get it at a thrift store and have 0 clue its Youtuber/Streamer merch#like ugh#and The Yard is SO successful#they make 401000 NZD every month#like they have it publically avaliable on there#and its so obviously because of Ludwig but it also has fans like me - who says hes probably my least favourite#and they made FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS per MONTH#*make currently#+ they all (kinda) have jobs outside of it - Aiden does merch stuff and runs events - Ludwig is Ludwig -#- Nick is like a (GOOD) cinematographer and director - and I’m 99% sure Slime doesnt have a job#and even their merch is incredible#and its literally all because Ludwig effectivley calitalised on the livestream boom of 2020 but somehow managed to pick the right creators#to support out of the whole dsmp side of that boo#and he has two companies and an Esports tesm#and one company lowkey only still exists because he doesnt wanna leave his employes jobless#and he/the yard make enough money to rent at full warehouse basicslly only to host the yard in#and he is like super into Smash Melee#and like is cool but then also announces he’s helping to host a free Melee tournament and can fly people out#and thats like most of their podcast#and him and his GFs relationship is literally incredible???#like they’re both streamers and you see them apart and are a bit confused but you watch one video of them together and you just get it#and he wants to retire and own a bakery (true fact)#but if he does that the podcast has to stop and he will rip away his 3 s#closest friends out of their main - or only - job#like thats crazy#and the Yard Guys joke that he’s unfeeling but also imagine having his life and not being

One more AU to propose: at the end of Brotherhood, taking ac3's declaration of how the Apple works as fact, Desmond sees the satellite not working, sees Abstergo failing--and rather than kill Lucy, either manages to turn and kill no one (unlikely, given Juno's influence) or ends up stabbing Shaun and/or Rebecca instead, with the idea that maybe, if he talked to the Templars, he could make them understand, that their plan is flawed, that they need to try something else--
Because if the Templars, in all their money and planning and resources are failing, how could the Assassins succeed?
(This would royally piss off Juno.)
I don't think this would go well. I think, even if he and Lucy succeeded, made the Templars change plans, and that worked, the result would be bittersweet at best. A lot of people dead or under their control, with the Assassins being in an even worse state. Power granted to the Templars that make them rise even higher.
There's a good chance they don't succeed at all.
But he'll never know if things would go better if he'd chosen the other path.
(Maybe there's a world where he does convince the Assassins and Templars to work together on this. But that's a much kinder world than the games see fit to give him. So that is out of his grasp.)
#to me this is like#ok#so in dragon age origins one of the first Real choices you make is about this kid#he's possessed by a demon for practicing illegal magic#we aren't getting into mage politics here#he's killed a lot of people. he doesn't understand. he's possessed#and you're presented with 3 ways you can end this.#1. you can kill the boy. this will#100%#fix the problem. dozens of lives#including children#WILL be saved. But you'll have a child's blood on your hands.#2. you can use further illegal magic#blood magic#to enter the Fade and find the demon#killing it there and ending the possession#but this requires a life. the kid's mom volunteers as a willing sacrifice.#as well this is where the demon is strongest and you are going alone. you could die in the process and have to kill the kid anyways.#3. you can TRY to save the kid otherwise... but it requires vast stores of magic. magic you don't have at your disposal. you would have to#petition the Circle of the Magi for help and hope they agree. all the while leaving the town at the child's mercy. You have every reason to#believe no one will be left by the time you get back.#which option do you choose? the game already established that doing things as simple as *asking the wrong questions* can have consequences#in my playthrough I chose the blood magic. a willing life for her son.#and it turns out if you DO petition the circle you DO succeed. everyone lives. there IS a happy ending. were you willing to take that risk?#to me this is the spot desmond is in.#let lucy live and try and reason with her (ask the circle. you might never recover for your softness)#run with lucy and hope abstergo will listen (blood magic. success. maybe. at a terrible cost.)#or kill lucy. abstergo won't have the apple. are the assassins ABLE to handle this on their own? (a mix of blood magic and kill the child)#but they did not commit in any direction and maybe desmond didn't have a choice or maybe he did. Who knows! the writers dont I dont think!#rose rambles

made a scary phone call and now i have a great day lined up

It's not great or anything neither is the payment but it's alright#also I can walk there from home bc it's so close by which is nice I guess#anywayyy it's a grocery store owned and run by a family (my boss and his wife + their 2 (3??) adult children)#now my boss is kinda hard to figure out I always think he's annoyed which makes me insecure but I think that's just how he is idk lol#but he isn't rude or anything (at least I never noticed??)#his wife seems nice and so does (one of) their daughter(s(?))#his son – who is idk probably in his early 30s?? could also be late 20s but I can't guess people's age – is the manager#he's nice as well I think and he even jokes around with (some of) the employees from time to time#either way...this is all rather irrelevant. Point is some part of me has decided to be uhhh weird about him in the past week ig#and I don't think that feeling was there before?? Idk I don't consider him attractive or anything (at least I don't think I do??) + he's#married (??
