Trying to get the absolute most out of this one makeup look I did of a month ago… 😅 I saw another person that I follow doing some thing similar where they take stills and they put instructions at the bottom of what each step is to get the same look. Application of Make Up

You finally made it in this step!! Wohoo! Well, you might say that being into make ups is kinda confusing and tiring and really unfriendly to your budget but hey, it’s the fun and results that we’re waiting to unveil. Of course you may not yet understand the thrill of putting on different looks on your face because you haven’t started yet, but sooner or later you would come to love and appreciate the wonders of make up my friend! You would appreciate it from the look where you acquired self satisfaction.

So let’s start on the face first! 

First and foremost, you must cleanse your skin. You may wash it and use a cleanser or baby oil to remove any dirt or previous make up particles on your face. This would make your base make up look natural. After cleaning your face apply facial moisturizer because dry skin would appear flaky and produce oil later on.

After applying facial moisturizer, apply concealer on your face to cover up the unwanted flaws on your face such as dark circles and eye bags, dark spots, wrinkles or fine lines using concealer brush. If you don’t have any concealer brush you may use your fingers, make sure that when you apply the concealer you don’t slide it on the specified areas just tap it so that the flaws will be covered perfectly. The concealer helps to balance out the uneven skin tones as well.

 Put on foundation as the base of your make up you may use cream, liquid and powder these types of foundations are the same actually giving you a fair complexion. When choosing foundation pick the color that’s the same with your skin tone for a balanced tone color. 

Next is apply contouring and highlights! Yes, the power of contouring and highlights where you would look like Kim Kardashian or Kylie Jenner even! Start first with the contouring, apply it under your cheek bones using the contouring brush and smudge it on the specified areas only, hollow of your cheeks, on the sides of your nose on the topmost of your forehead and on your jawlines whatever suits you best. Contouring helps your face look thinner and longer with the shadows created by it. 

In highlighting, you may use a cream or powder highlighter with the highlighter brush to brighten up the deepest corners of your face which are the inside corners of your eyes, underneath your eyebrows, in the center of your cupid’s bow, and on the tops/sides of your cheekbones. 

Lastly, fill in your eye brows. You may use the powder or the pencil eyebrow maker. Brush your eye brows first, next is draw lines following the top and bottom of your eyebrows. Next is blend the drawn lines on the top down to bottom, and from the bottom to top. Once everything is blended, brush again the brows. You may remove excess lines being smudged away from the brown lines.

Finally, we’re done with the base make up. Moving on with the application of eye shadows.

Use an eye primer as the base for your eye shadow make up. This is optional but if you want the eye shadow to stay in a longer duration then you may use eye primer. Use your fingertips for the application.

Add on your eye shadow. Applying the eye shadow comes in many different methods but the most basic is putting on one color from your lids and fade it to your crease as well as the inside and outside corners of your eyes preventing the harsh lines from forming. Next is apply a second color which is darker than the first one on the outer corner of your lash line to make it look more dramatic. And blend it all up.

Next step would be the application of eyeliner, this helps your eyes look bigger. This also makes you look like you have longer lashes. When using eyeliner you must choose the color same with the color of your lashes because it may make you look unnatural.

And finally for the finishing blow on your eyes, apply mascara. This makes your eyes fuller and very much dramatic. Start by brushing the mascara on your top lashes at least 3 times. Avoid brushing it more than that so that the pigments of the the mascara won’t stick together making it look so thick. And if you would like to, you may also put some on you lower lashes  but make surethat the mascara you are using is water proof.
