4. Laho has a one-sided rivalry with Buwan

5. Every time a person says amihan is the god of the wind, pagwaagan (Tagalog god of the winds) looses their wings

6. Many sitans gets confused whenever people say he’s the guardian of the kasanaan. Balakbak and Balantay reassures all of them that it’s nothing and tells them to go back to work

7. Aman Sinaya laughs whenever people call him a women

MEET THE DEMIGODS

It's still a working idea but I want to have some reoccurring minor antagonists who are descendants of different Filipino mythological figures.

I call these trio the Demigods because their feats are god-like among humans. While minor antagonists, aren't actually evil. They're manipulated by the actual villains into doing their bidding.

Prince Rayan Maralit

Hailing from Batangas, Prince is the descendant of the Tagalog legendary hero Pablo Maralit, inheriting his many agimat (and thus having a variety of powers). He strong, kind, maybe a bit stupid, and always a fun guy to be around. Prince is indebted to the main antagonist as the main antagonist saved his life one day. Thus, he's the one who's most reluctant to betray him. As the oldest, he's the group's role model and leader

Prince has an indestructible kampilan that can even harm ghosts and spirits. His many agimat gives him many abilities such as super strength, super speed, enhanced durability, control over water and many more.

Bertha Carpio

This hot headed 10 year old from Montalban is the descendant of Bernardo Carpio. Thus, she has strength and druability that surpasses that of Prince's agimat. As the newest member, she's also the most skeptical of the group and the main antagonist. The only reason she even joined was because the main antagonist picked her up when she was a homeless girl.

Her strength is the same as Bernardo Carpio's, whose strength is the cause of earthquakes. She has no control over it however so she has special bracelets laced with magic the allows her to control how much strength she exerts.

Ma. Carmelita Rose Lumbad

Born in Laguna, grew up in Manila. Carmelita is the descendant of Maria Makiling. She's what I'd call THE Maria Clara: demure, self-effacing, and virtuous to a fault. Carmelita acts as a big sister figure to Bertha and the assistant to Prince and her true self is something she stiffles up. She thinks that by following the antagonists' doctrine then she might find a new self and rid of her real self.

As a descendant of Maria Makiling, she has powers of nature. Plants, fungi, animals, and the weather falls under her domain. Though she's the most frail among the demigod group she's potentially the most powerful member.

Okay. So, ig Astor's parents knew all along what he would go on to do in the future. Which explains why his father, Makil, treats him the way he does his whole life. In his mind, "if it will come to happen no matter what," then why bother pretending to be a good parent, ey? I wanna talk about them more haha

MARIA MAKILING // PHILIPPINE DIWATA

“She is a diwata in Philippine mythology, associated with Mount Makiling in Laguna, Philippines. She is the most widely known diwatà or lambana (fairy) in Philippine mythology and was venerated in pre-colonial Philippines as a goddess known as Dayang Masalanta or Dian Masalanta who was invoked to stop deluges, storms, and earthquakes. Maria Makiling is the guardian spirit of the mountain, responsible for protecting its bounty and thus is also a benefactor for the townspeople who depend on the mountain's resources.”
