So it begins

(It’s difficult to write this as I am tired, under nourished, and there are loud and rowdy boys here, raising my anxiety to a new level. Anytime now I expect to hear a large crash followed by blood and tears. So, if this post reads like the author was tired and distracted.....)

Tomorrow is the big day! My hardcore fight training begins and I am nervous but stoked! Actually, I have to ease into this hardcore training because I still don’t have everything in complete order as I planned. It’s cool though. Nothing ever goes along with my wild, cool imaginings. At least I’ve learned to expect and accept that... instead of letting it totally deflate me and ending in a bout of depression. The idea is to get myself organized and on a schedule/routine of healthy eating and getting in the proper training.....and enough of it so that I’m ready....truly ready in mind as well as body and skills to take home that title belt come the tourney in June 2018.

As a wife, mom of boys doing sports (I juggle games, practices and serve as a bus for one of the teams), business woman (I have a couple side hustles) and someone living with mental roadblocks (we will call them), it’s going to be challenging. But my husband has my back, or so he says....we will see.
