Here goes to the last bit of my vacation before heading back to reality.
I've made promise to Uncle Alex to hike up to The Glasshouse when we were in UK. And we are making it come through.
Tumblr media
Please excuse the gold fish eyes cause we woke up early for the climb to avoid the sun. Very typical me.
Uncle Alex likes to go to the bank just to chit chat and talk to people although he has no business there. He tricked me to drive him there so he could have a coffee with the relationship manager. Crafty!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having a meal at MamaKim was amazing. It's such yummy and healthy meal that I wish Cambodia has it. Just look at the sizzling stone pot!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After all the eating, time to burn some fats with Uncle Alex by cycling for quite a distance. When we were cycling towards the Penang bridge, we saw a couple taking pictures. We cycle further north and when we came back, we still see the couple taking pictures! Haha! And Uncle Alex was kind enough to help them take a picture together.

Before driving back to KL on the 6th Jan 2023, we gathered to have a meal together at CRC and I must say, it wasn't as good as I thought. And damn! Super pricy!
Tumblr media
We drove down to KL and stopped by Ipoh for some great Nam Heong coffee and lunch. Had Vietnamese food and it taste really good!

That's it. The last bit of my vacation and said hi to Cambodia.
Here's my community. Can they be my genuine friend? Probably the four legged who was looking at us could be one.

Lonely in santa barbara
Tumblr media
Being lonely in a beautiful place like Santa Barbara is truly a horrible experience. As I've said many times, a beautiful environment can be the darkest hell if you have to experience it all alone, especially while having to watch other men walking around with their girlfriends. I wish girls were attracted to me. I don't know why they aren't.
BIO
Tumblr media
My name is Elliot Rodger. I was born in the UK, but moved to the United States at the age of 5. I grew up in Calabasas and Woodland Hills, California. Currently, I am attending college in Santa Barbara, and while there I am staying the the town of Isla Vista. I have tried very hard to fit in with the social scene there, but I have ultimately been unable to do so. There are too many obnoxious people who have ruined my whole experience at that place. I consider myself a sophisticated, polite gentleman, unlike most boys my age. My father is of British descent, and my mother is of Asian descent, so that makes me a Eurasian. I enjoy hiking, exercising, watching sunsets, traveling, cars, fashion, going to nice restaurants, and going to parties. I have traveled all over the world, ever since I was a child. So far, I have visited ten countries, including Great Britain, the United States, France, Spain, Greece, Germany, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, and Morocco.

Sibenik to Knin Croatia
Hello Little Mosey:
By the time I had ridden 38 miles I was ready to stop and rest. I stayed in the city of Sibenik which is old. Some of the streets are very narrow. I guess this is what a city would look like if there were no cars.
Tumblr media
I did get to see some beautiful things on todays ride and the route took me on some hiking trails. I ran low on water and stopped at at farm. A mice man gave me water and grapes from his vineyard. He was Croatian but had worked in Malaysia and the Middle East.
Tumblr media
I took some back roads and saw lots of stone buildings. This one even had a stone roof.
Tumblr media
There were figs and berries growing on the side of the road and I ate some.

Tumblr media
I am going slower than I hoped but the pace is good enough for now. It is good practice for letting go of expectations. These have caused some suffering for me in the past. I’m happy when I can recognize a false belief and look at it clearly.
Hope this finds you well and not getting tortured by those teeth growing in.
Love you little buddy

Crown shyness phenomenon in the Forest Research Intitute Malaysia (FRIM)!
These borneo camphor/kapur trees (Dryobalanops aromatica) do not let the leaves of their crowns touch each other, showing a beautiful pattern in the sky.
It has been hypothesized that this phenomenon has evolved to prevent the spread of parasites and disease. Or it may be a simple product of strong winds clashing branches together to cause these gaps. Some may also say the lack of sunlight from overlapping foliage can prevent leaves from growing too close to each other.
Regardless, it is a beautiful sight. Sunlight shyly weaves through the gaps to land on our faces. It was a brief respite before we continued on our hike through the forest in 2023.
