🦢 🌹 A lot of my deep dives on the search for various answers about our universe end up leading me to the same message: the external is guided by your internal realm, love yourself first.

I always think about how, some 8 billion people live on this physical planet; our mother Earth, but spiritually- many of us live in entirely different realms of existence. While you're waking up to a gloomy Winter day- for someone else, somewhere else, it is a bright sunny wondrous day and one of their dreams is coming true.

There are external circumstances, yes but the deciding factor for how you greet the day is you + the beating drum of your own heart. Nurture yourself, question yourself lovingly. You are your own greatest masterpiece 🎨

Lately I've been contemplating a lot about suffering in the world, feeling very ungrounded and disconnected. I've even been wondering how I can feel safe and happy knowing how dark the world can be. I realised that while compassionate awareness is positive, nothing can be gained from torturing myself with thoughts of things that are out of my own control.

I can't play God and fix all suffering and injustice in our world, but I can be a beacon of light in this world by taking good care of myself in every possible way.

Self-love and nurturing your own being is powerful, and it really does ripple out 🌨🦢💞

I think a lot of us are walking in the other direction, away from focusing on ourselves, because we are afraid of being narcissistic. The thing is, someone who is narcissist actually places too much value on the external.
