Okay actually the differences are more like this:

Dogmark A. Mandog: has been a dogman for years but only learned about it three months ago; has lost his job, been broken up with, and been through multiple instances of mortal peril in that same three months; has a roommate who is also his best friend and found sibling and greatest bully; energy of a family dog who was dumped on the street and then taken in by a feisty stray cat

Dogmark B. Mandog: Has been a dogman for only a few months but has known about it the entire time; spent most of those few months wandering and taking work wherever he could get it, but his most stable job got terminated abruptly when his boss got murdered by an evil unicorn; met a very friendly group of monster hunters who gave him a hand and more or less turned his life around; energy of a stray dog who got spontaneously adopted by several people at once

I've stumbled into having two slightly divergent canons for dogmark, so now it's time for the epic multiverse team-up between Dogmark Mandog and Dogmark B. Mandog (they're the same except Dogmark B. Mandog has a job)

I need two cats so I can name them Miaulë and Tulcat. Their cat tree shall be Telpawrion, their litter box will be Barad-Poo. My dog shall be named Mandog and play with his chew toy, Celebone. I will wash my pets in the Gundabath and dry them with Clothlorien, the cats will have their little cat house Tinyquetil, while the dog does his Minas Tirest in the House of Mandog. During the day I will let him outside so he can Isenguard my house.

Im still thinking really hard about werewolfman au by the way. Like.

Greg and Knight aren't born werewolves but were cursed/had some kind of technological-advancement-gone-wrong happen to them. They both turn at the same time on full moons, just, opposite.

the first time they turn on a full moon is pure chaos. Like any kind of skills Dogman has? This is where he learned them in the first place.

Scene of Greg the human and Knight the dog huddled around a phone. Greg is trying his hardest to push the buttons but keeps full-hand-bapping it. Knight has to teach him VIA charades how to do it. And then the second Chief answers they both forget everything and Greg is barking while Knight is attempting to howl out English.

Also scene of Petey being extremely confused at the two new weird cops that keep following around, who very obviously aren't his arch-nemeses and therefore aren't important.

For exactly one day a month, Greg is allowed to speak. And boy does he.

And, of course, this eventually naturally leads into Mandog appearing after the whole. Incident.
