Okay, here we go: Season 2
We got 12 episodes in this one, 8 for D2, 4 for DotO
Episode 1: Emily and Corvo are training swordfighting at night. Corvo says they should head back because it‘s a big day tomorrow. Emily says she can‘t sleep because she‘s reminded of her mother‘s death. Daud arrives in Dunwall looking for the twinbladed knife. It seems like he may be the villain, he‘s interrogating people (but still not killing). We see Wyman who has Daud trailed and is concerned. The next morning, Emily is friendly with Alexi and flirts with Wyman who tells her about Daud being back. Emily is grim, but too busy to do anything about it right now. She talks with people on the way to the throne room, it‘s clear the empire is doing better, but the murders are a concern. Emily sits on her throne with Corvo at her back, Duke Abele and Delilah crash the party, Corvo is turned to stone, Emily is knocked out.
Episode 2: Emily escapes her room by climbing around and being sneaky. She finds dying Alexi who tells her about Meagan and her boat. Emily infiltrates her own throne room and steals her ring back, killing the traitor. She has a heartfelt moment looking at stone Corvo before going to the safe room and gearing up. Emily sneaks her way out of Dunwall, being clever, climbing, using distractions. Daud sees her from a rooftop where he‘s perched and sleepdarts a guard that was about to see her. Emily notices, but when she looks who did it nobody is there. Daud surveys the city and the rising presence of witches, still looking for the knife, learns it‘s in Karnaca. Emily reaches the dreadful whale and meets Meagan, who the audience recognizes as Billie.
Episode 3: Emily awakes in the void, talks to the outsider, gains powers and heart. Arrival in Karnaca, Emily makes her way through the city, disgusted by the bloodflies but curious to see her father‘s home. Tests out her powers. Meagan/Billie enters her room on the dreadful whale, we see that she has her and Dauds wanted poster as well es some memorabilia, also of Delilah. She monologues to Daud. Emily arrives at Addamire Institute, finds information on Sokolov, defeats the Crown Killer. So far she is almost having fun; she enjoys her new powers, feels no longer helpless and like she‘s finally her father‘s daughter.
Episode 4: The clockwork mansion. Emily goes to find Sokolov and defeat Jindosh. Daud arrives in Karnaca. Delilah rules over Dunwall with an iron fist. She prepares for another void ritual and muses aloud to stone!Corvo, showing her disdain for Jessamine. Emily goes through the clockwork mansion. The mansion‘s twists and gimmicks are shown, as well as the backrooms that Emily eventually finds. Emily defeats a clockwork soldier (barely) while rescuing Sokolov. She interrogates Jindosh using the electroshock machine and leaves him in the machine. She brings Sokolov back to the Dreadful Whale and has a heart to heart with Meagan/Billie about revenge and justice, death and mercy.
Episode 5: Daud learns that information on the twinbladed knife is hidden in the royal conservatory. He infiltrates to look for the information. He witnesses as Emily infiltrates as well, looking to take out Breanna Ashworth. Daud takes out some witches and help Emily from the shadows while he retrieves his information. Emily notices him and ambushes him, they have a silent confrontation where Emily has Daud at swordpoint while Daud warns her about Delilah‘s powers. Emily learns of his actions in Season 1 and reluctantly lets him go. Daud leaves. Emily sabotages the machine and drains Breanna and the witches of their power. Delilah feels this happen in Dunwall and rages. Emily returns to the dreadful whale but doesn‘t mention Daud. But she is angry so she immediately leaves again for the dust district. While on her way to Stilton manor she finds Corvo‘s childhood home. It‘s a grim reminder that poverty is still a big issue in her empire.
Episode 6: Stilton manor. Emily gets the timepiece from the Outsider, who also talks to her about Daud. She explores the manor, jumping between timelines, noticing how she can change the present by acting in the past. She knocks out Stilton so he won‘t take part in the ritual and watches as Delilah is released from the void, realizing that Daud told the truth. When she returns she sees the changed dust district and when she‘s back on the Dreadful whale Stilton is there and Meagan/Billie is no longer maimed. Nobody seems to remember the previous timeline except Emily. Daud is ambushed by the eyeless and fights them, but the moment the timeline is changed he is disoriented and they manage to capture him. That evening, Meagan/Billie is in her cabin after saying goodnight to everyone. When she looks in the mirror, for a moment she sees her former self, missing an eye and an arm. She jumps, blinks, looks again and her reflection is normal. Unsettled, she goes to bed.
Episode 7: Emily goes after Duke Abele. She enters the manor and learns about the double. She finds the double and conspires with him. Daud awakes at the Alberca baths and is forced restrained with overseer music boxes. Billie talks with Sokolov because she is having strange dreams about her original timeline life. Emily neutralizes the duke and replaces him with the double. She breaks into the duke‘s vault and destroys the figure that grants Delilah immortality. Night falls as Emily returns to the dreadful whale and learns about Meagan’s past as Billie Lurk. She confronts Billie but decides to forgive her. Daud is forced to fight in a cage against several thugs with bone charms. At first he tries to knock them out, but quickly learns that that will only encourage further challengers. He kills his opponents brutally and efficiently once he sets his mind to it.
Episode 8: The dreadful whale arrives in Dunwall. Emily says goodbye to Billie who is sailing back to Karnaca. She feels she has unfinished business there, also she is looking for Daud. Emily tells her he is there, but she doesn‘t know why. Emily makes her way through Dunwall, fighting witches and sneaking through the city that is her home, now destroyed. She even mourns over the dead overseers who are turned to stone in the streets. Emily reaches the palace and learns Delilah is in the throne room for another ritual. She sneaks around figuring out how to sabotage the ritual, thinking of what Daud told her about the last ritual. She finds everything she needs and visits the pagoda where Jessamine died before confronting Delilah. She enters the throne room and the painting and sabotages, confronts Delilah and places her on the throne that will trap her in her own world forever. She releases Corvo from stone and they hug. Credits start to roll, but slowly fade into the void. The outsider appears and says something cryptic about how Emily and Corvo are now free to rebuild, but the story is not over yet.
Episode 9: Billie arrives in Karnaca. She has another weird dream about her other life and her arm and eye feel foreign to her. She goes looking for Daud and sees the posters about the fights with the „black magic brute“. She infiltrates the Alberca baths as a spectator for one of the fights and sees Daud fight. He is noticably slower and weaker than the last time we saw him. He still wins, though he also takes some heavy blows. After the fight Billie watches as they trap Daud in the chair with the music field. He seems barely conscious. She chats up the bartender, sneaks backstage and steals the key to the music, suddenly shutting it off. Within a blink Daud appears, and disappears, corpses falling all around her. When Daud reappears Billie has to catch him to keep him on his feet and takes him back to the Dreadful Whale. Daud tells her about the twinbladed knife he‘s been looking for all along. Only now do we learn he plans to kill the outsider.
Episode 10: Billie has her own meeting with the outsider where her arm and eye become void-touched. She confers with Daud who tells her he has a lead on who has the knife but doesn‘t know where. Bille leaves him to go find the Eyeless and information on the knife. She tests her powers in Karnaca but is noticeably different than Emily. Where Emily was angry Billie is determined. Where Emily was reckless Billie is ruthless. Billie finds her information and returns to Daud. They have a nice evening sitting on the deck by a fire reminiscing. Daud tells Billie he is proud of her. Billie says she is glad he found her all those years ago.
Episode 11: Billie leaves to go infiltrate the bank, she uses the gas and fights the clockwork soldiers. She eventually finds the vault and retrieves the knife. The outsider confronts her, telling her he knows what she plans and that Daud has died. Billie rushes back to the Dreadful Whale to find Daud passed away. Billie takes her few belongings from the ship and sets it ablaze as a funeral pyre for Daud. She then goes to figure out how to enter the void by infiltrating the Royal conservatory. The set is already known to the viewer, Billie infiltrates differently than Emily (more confidence, more skill, it‘s clear she‘s done this many times before). She finds the information she needs and leaves, leaving some destroyed music boxes and dead overseers behind. Billie sets off to the mountains.
Episode 12: Billie infiltrates the mine. Things get increasingly weirder and more voidlike. First it’s the glitches, then the people who are half stone. Billie fights on into the caves. She sees the Envisioned and is forced to hide in a room where she finds the information that the mark is the outsiders name that only the dead can speak. She moves on to the eye of the dead god (strong music, unsettling camerawork) and enters the void. The world turns grey and voidlike, the envisioned are there. Billie avoids detection and makes her way to the ritual hold. She enters and finds Daud‘s ghost. They have a last goodbye. Billie and Daud‘s ghost go to the outsider‘s body and the outsider confronts them, tells them to make their choice. Daud whispers his name in his ear to release him. Everything fades to white. Billie narrates while images appear. She says now the void is free and no longer bound - the outsider with normal eyes steps into the light, Billie by his side, her arm and eye normal again. She says people are free to make their own choices without influence - Emily sits on the throne, her hand ungloved and unmarked, Wyman is by her side. Corvo and the fake duke abele work together to improve living conditions in Karnaca, bloodfly infections are down dramatically, less dust everywhere. Billie says the void is still there, to be drawn upon by those who know to use it - Delilah walks between her subjects in the throne room, it is visually different from Emily‘s and the lighting shows it’s not the real world, but Delilah seems happy.
I think there should be a Dishonored TV show.
Imagine this: The Series follows several POV characters: Corvo (duh, probably in a low chaos run with some deaths), Emily (duh, little girl and the horrible no good very bad day, we see how she deals with the conspiracy and it can give some background on the villains), Daud (big regrets, has his whole Delilah story which, for TV reasons, happens at the same time as Corvo's revenge plot so the series can cut between them), and lastly Billie (lovestory with Delilah, betrayal of Daud, mercy in the end)
There can be amazing parallels between Corvo's low chaos revenge and Daud's quest for redemption, with a tense confrontation in Episode 8/9. Delilah as this secret foil that Corvo doesn't even know about, for dramatic purposes Daud has to defeat her in the last episode, so there can be a moment where the audience doesn't quite know if the Emily Corvo just rescued is still Emily. (For dramatic purposes this also needs to be the high chaos ending where Emily almost falls to her death, even though we're in mostly low chaos)
The Series (rough draft):
Episode 1: Corvo returns from his trip. Jess is murdered, Emily abducted. Title Screen. 6 months later. Corvo is being tortured in Coldridge. Daud is depressed and guiltridden. Billie is unimpressed. Episode ends with Corvo breaking out of Coldridge.
Episode 2: Corvo meets the Loyalists. Daud meets the Outsider who gives him the name "Delilah". Also he turns down contracts. Billie expresses her disapproval (again) and leaves the hideout to cool off. Emily is being held captive by the Pendletons who are being creepy and she tries to find a way out. Corvo gains the Mark of the Outsider and the Heart.
Episode 3: Corvo goes after Campbell, rescuing Martin along the way. Daud starts investigating (slaughterhouse). Billie is angry and leaves the hideout, meeting up with a lover who is afterwards revealed to be Delilah (her first appearance). Emily almost gets away from her captors, but is caught at the last second.
Episode 4: Corvo goes to the Golden Cat to rescue Emily. Daud investigates the Timshs. Billie scemes with Delilah to overthrow Daud. Episode ends with Corvo reuniting with Emily.
Episode 5: The Whaler hideout is overrun by Overseers. Billie reveals her betrayal, fights Daud and escapes. Corvo has a nice bonding moment with Emily. Corvo kidnaps Sokolov. Emily talks with the loyalists and gets the vibes that something is not right here.
Episode 6: The Boyle's party. Corvo identifies the right Boyle Lady and deals with her. Billie returns to Delilah who comforts her about having failed to kill Daud. Daud recovers from her betrayal. Emily has nightmares about Corvo dying.
Episode 7: Corvo goes to dispatch Burrows. Emily listens in on the Loyalists and their plans. Daud goes looking for a boat, and then for Lizzy Stride. Delilah reveals the beginning of her painting to Billie. Corvo returns to the Hounds Pit Pub and Emily tries to warn him, but is held back and locked in her room. Corvo is poisoned, Episode ends on him passing out.
Episode 8: Samuel drops Corvo in the Flooded District. Daud returns and finds Corvo. Emily is angry and ready to throw hands with the "loyalists", gets threatened. Bille and Delilah prepare for the ritual, Delilah tells Billie that afterwards she can go and kill Daud for real this time. Corvo wakes up and confronts Daud. They duel, Daud loses, asks for his life, Corvo doesn't say anything, but doesn't kill him. Corvo returns to the Pub.
Episode 9: Emily feels all alone in a cruel world, believing Corvo to be dead. Corvo and Daud both prepare for their final missions in a cool montage. Corvo infiltrates the Fort/Lighthouse and deals with Pendleton and Martin. Daud arrives at Brigmore manor, infiltrates it and finds the entrance to the void. Corvo goes on to search for Emily, her room is empty. Daud talks to the Outsider and confronts Billie and Delilah. Corvo finds Emily and Havelock. Daud fights Billie while Delilah (almost) completes her ritual. Corvo shoots Havelock and catches Emily. Daud injures Billie and goes to stop Delilah, bright flash of light. Emily looks up at Corvo with a strange smile. Delilah has vanished. Daud asks Billie if she's done it. Billie is angry as Delilah is gone, but has a heart to heart with Daud where they leave on relatively okay terms. Daud breathes a sigh of relief. Emily smiles and hugs Corvo, it's clear that she's still herself. Epilogue narration that everything turned out fine. End credit scene of Delilah very angry, but also very alive, in the Void.
Why 9 episodes, you ask? Well because I was trying for 10 but my planning which I came up with just now only wanted 9. 8 or 10 would make more sense from a TV standpoint though. I just think this would be such a cool series...

I‘m not quite happy with Cassius expression on this, the idea was Darrow is kissing his lover, Cassius is having a religious experience. What timeline is this? Idk, a happy one.
