Manhattanhenge happens in New York City four times a year when the Sun's light perfectly aligns with NYC's grid. If you stand in the middle of the crosswalk looking west, you'll see the Sun perfectly centered between the city's towering buildings. The term was coined by Neil deGrasse Tyson who was loosely referring to Stonehenge (which serves as a solar calendar.) Hundreds of New Yorkers turn out to snap pictures while avoiding oncoming traffic. It's a wild time and a really amazing view. https://youtu.be/0nE-1vGOlsg
