We hiked Devil’s marbleyard today. 3.3 miles out and back with 912 ascent and two water crossings. Since we got the tail end of the hurricane yesterday, the trail was basically a creek in places. We had a lot of fun. And climbing the rocks was a blast. I don’t do heights, so I’m really proud of myself for doing it. Josie, Mariah, and Noah did not do the climb. Renn let Keith carry her up.

Wanted to hike The Devil's Marbleyard, but my Mom and Step-Dad asked me to dog-sit for them this weekend so I went downtown and walked the Black Water Creek Trail instead. The graffiti my friends and I put there so many years ago was painted over, but there's new art there now so, the cycle continues. All in all, it was pretty great birthday. No party, no obligations. Wishes through texts and posts. The first birthday I've ever asked off work for and it was quite exemplary
