#OnThisDate: Hello March!! Please be a better month for me than how last month went in my personal life… Last year (3/1/2022), I ate breakfast at Duncan’s Dairy Bar with a client for a potential writing opportunity and picked up, I think, a hot Matcha Latte, at the nearby Dunkin’. Today in the mail (3/1/2023) came my first ever FRONT PAGE feature in TheSpot518!! Since I began contributing in 2016 had I never had a story of mine featured as a top story until now. This was one good piece of news I heard on Monday about this feature landing front page. The Art Associates Gallery Inc will have their art opening for “The Art of Photography” this upcoming Friday, March 3, & it features the talents of 24 Capital Region photographers. This is it. If nothing else, this is the one thing to know about THE ONE TRUE ME AND YOU. I love this blurb with every fiber of my being. You've maybe seen other parts of it on the final book cover or various posts, but this is the bit that means the most. When I heard @tjklunebooks had given a blurb for TOTMY, I about passed out. His books mean a ton to me. The House in the Cerulean Sea was the book that broke my early pandemic reading slump. It came out on March 17, 2020, the day after we entered lockdown here, and when I finally got around to reading it... oh, friends, it was the perfect comforting hug I needed to get through those times. I quickly ripped through everything else he's written--and there's a lot! I feel like this is the only book that gets talked about, but all is work is fantastic. If you're more of a YA person, you will definitely still love Cerulean Sea, but he also has two YA novels you'll adore: The Extraordinaries and Flash Fire.
