Sheraldo Becker krijgt nieuwe coach bij Union Berlin

Union Berlin, de club waar Surinaams internationaal Sheraldo Becker onder contract staat, heeft de Kroatische coach Nenad Bjelica aangesteld als opvolger van Urs Fischer. Dit is een poging het lot van het team te verbeteren en de degradatiezone van de Bundesliga te verlaten. Union kondigde zondag de ondertekening van Bjelica aan, zonder details te geven over de duur van zijn contract. "Met Nenad Bjelica hebben we een ervaren coach kunnen aantrekken die in verschillende landen succesvol heeft gewerkt. Hij heeft een duidelijk idee van hoe hij ons team wil leiden en wat voor soort voetbal het moet spelen", zei Union-voorzitter Dirk Zingler. "We vertrouwen hem de taak toe om het team weer naar succes te leiden." Union genoot ongekend succes onder Fischer die de club in 2019 naar zijn eerste Bundesliga-promotie leidde en in elk van de volgende seizoenen steeds hoger, met als hoogtepunt de kwalificatie voor de Champions League. Maar dit seizoen is niet volgens plan verlopen. Union verloor negen Bundesligawedstrijden op rij voor het 1-1 gelijkspel van zaterdag met Augsburg, toen het team werd geleid door interim-coach Marco Grote en assistent Marie-Louise Eta. Eta werd het eerste vrouwelijke lid van de technische staf van een Bundesliga-team in de 60-jarige geschiedenis van de competitie. De club zei zondag dat Eta assistent-coach van Bjelica blijft totdat Sebastian Bönig terugkeert. Bjelica haalt ook zijn assistent Danijel Jumić naar de club. Bönig, die als assistent onder Fischer had gewerkt, vroeg de club vorige week om "persoonlijke redenen", om een pauze en de club gaf geen tijdlijn voor zijn terugkeer. Does age play a role in art beyond the biography of the artist? Does geography, beyond the place of the artist’s youth, and where they live and work today? For twenty years, the Regionale has been a unique event taking place at the center of Europe connecting three countries (Switzerland, Germany, and France), their histories, and traditions, leading to various exhibitions in different venues. It is not exclusively for young artists, nor dedicated to appreciating established ones. It is rather an inventory, and a cartography, in the best sense. In this edition of the Regionale, all of the featured artists are either older than sixty-five or younger than thirty-five. To juxtapose youth and maturity might have implied something different twenty years ago—when decades were more closely identified with particular styles—than it does today. Here, twenty-one artistic positions meet around two biographical “poles”, and together focus on thematic questions with both older and newly produced works of art.

Sheraldo Becker krijgt nieuwe coach bij Union Berlin

Union Berlin, de club waar Surinaams internationaal Sheraldo Becker onder contract staat, heeft de Kroatische coach Nenad Bjelica aangesteld als opvolger van Urs Fischer. Dit is een poging het lot van het team te verbeteren en de degradatiezone van de Bundesliga te verlaten. Union kondigde zondag de ondertekening van Bjelica aan, zonder details te geven over de duur van zijn contract. "Met Nenad Bjelica hebben we een ervaren coach kunnen aantrekken die in verschillende landen succesvol heeft gewerkt. Hij heeft een duidelijk idee van hoe hij ons team wil leiden en wat voor soort voetbal het moet spelen", zei Union-voorzitter Dirk Zingler. "We vertrouwen hem de taak toe om het team weer naar succes te leiden." Union genoot ongekend succes onder Fischer die de club in 2019 naar zijn eerste Bundesliga-promotie leidde en in elk van de volgende seizoenen steeds hoger, met als hoogtepunt de kwalificatie voor de Champions League. Maar dit seizoen is niet volgens plan verlopen. Union verloor negen Bundesligawedstrijden op rij voor het 1-1 gelijkspel van zaterdag met Augsburg, toen het team werd geleid door interim-coach Marco Grote en assistent Marie-Louise Eta. Eta werd het eerste vrouwelijke lid van de technische staf van een Bundesliga-team in de 60-jarige geschiedenis van de competitie. De club zei zondag dat Eta assistent-coach van Bjelica blijft totdat Sebastian Bönig terugkeert. Bjelica haalt ook zijn assistent Danijel Jumić naar de club.
