Magic Knight Squad Robe Redesigns

A long time ago, I had the idea of redesigning the uniforms of the Magic Knight squads for the (many) next gen ocs that me and my friends have. I thought it would be fun for the squads to each have a unique article of clothing for the squads' uniforms, to make each group a little more unique beyond their colors.

With the help of my beloved friend Steph ( @cringeyvanillamilk ), that idea has now come to fruition! I commissioned her for all the art you are to see.

And modeling the redesigned uniforms are mine and my friends' next gen ocs.

Representing the Golden Dawn is @lyranova's oc, Alistar Vangeance.

For the Black Bulls is @eme-eleff's oc, Hikari Yami.

Wearing the Crimson Lion King's uniform is @thoughtfullyrainynightmare's oc, Leonidas Vermillion.

From my own collection of ocs and representing the Blue Rose Knights is Dawn Faust.

The representative for the Aqua Deers is also my oc, Merel Faust.

The Silver Eagle's uniform is worn by @koneko-pi's oc, Avalinia Silva.

Further notes about the uniforms below the cut.

Golden Dawn: they wear full body coats that are meant to be worn open. Squad members can have tassels added to their coats so they can be tied close if they so choose.

Black Bulls: they're not wearing leather jackets. It's standard fabric, that's all. Jacket length is somewhat adjustable though longer jackets are avoided to steer clear of having the same silhouette as the Golden Dawn.

Crimson Lion Kings: the sashes are sewn so that squad members don't have to wrap the fabric over their shoulder and around their waist every time they don their uniform.

Blue Rose Knights: it's a short cape already attached to a shirt. You'd just put it on like a regular shirt and hope that you don't get the cape in your face as you put it on.

Aqua Deer: it's a scarf, plain and simple. The ends of the scarf are to be a clean cut.

Silver Eagles: this squad retains the original form that a majority of the squad robes have in canon, a short mantle with an long cape attached. For the next gen's version, the fluff of the mantle was made a smaller component so that the feathers can be the main focus, instead of being mostly equal parts fluff and feather.

Coral Peacocks: a waist sash with the end of the fabric being shaped to resemble the tail feathers of a peacock.

Green Praying Mantises: arm sleeves that can just cover the forearms or cover the upper arms too. There's also a version with a slit in the sleeves in case there are squad members who don't want to wear the form fitting sleeves.

Purple Orcas: a vest with pointed hems reminiscent of the triangular shape of the squad robe worn by the previous generation. There are buttons on the vest so they can be worn open or closed to a squad member's preferences. (And most members tend to wear a shirt under the vest. Zoisite only wears his uniform this way because he can.)

During summers in her last two years of high school, she performed for tourists in Branson, Missouri, living with her Aunt Gracie.

She met Cathleen Spengler when they were in an off-off Broadway production of Kiss Me, Kate; Cathleen was playing Katharine/Lilli Vanessi and Willow was playing Bianca/Lois Lane. The two struck up a friendship, and shortly after Cathleen gave birth to her second daughter Marie, she introduced Willow to her friend Ray Stantz. After a whirlwind courtship, the two tied the knot on Halloween 1990.

She was nominated for Best Featured Actress in a Musical at the Tony Awards in 1991 for her role as Sister Ruth in a musical adaptation of Black Narcissus, but lost to Daisy Eagan.

She would later win Best Leading Actress in 2001 for her role as Polly Kern in Red as the Curtain, a Drowsy Chaperone-style vaudeville satire mixed with the blood and guts of Chicago.

Both of her pregnancies were rough-- her pregnancy with Addison was especially uncomfortable and the labor/delivery was fraught with complications, while during her pregnancy with Natalie, she was still dealing with the emotional fallout of the Spenglers' perceived betrayal.

Marilu’s name is not Marilu, that’s a nickname- her name is Maria Luisa! I named her after Luisa Sanfelice (though her name was also spelled frequently as Luigia, which is just the Italian form of Luisa). I really like the sound of “Marilu”, I think it rolls off the tongue :) I have definitely heard of people called Marilu or Marilou where I’m from, but it’s usually a nickname for Maria Luisa or Maria de Lourdes.

oc planets+species & shit pt1

the oc planets correlating to the oc characters I did in my last post+some extras because why not  Jackola: Harsh, ocean world covered in rocky islands. Similar to Ahch-To, but much more violent. Legend has it electrical storms here get strong enough to wipe out entire starfleets. Located deep in the unknown regions, with Ahch-To and Exegol forming a pseudo-triangle with this world. The native species have 2 subspecies: the rare, far more primitive, and violent Polar Jackolans, and the peaceful, musical, and more often seen around the galaxy Equatorial Jackolans. There is a third variant, the Ondirian Jackolans, but we’ll get there in a sec. Both species share webbed hands and feet, tough skin, a lack of body hair, a venomous bite from their pescatarian ancestors, twin stomaches to process the sea grass that make up a large portion of their diet, and large, tetrachromatic eyes. Despite descending from Marsupials, and the Polar Jackolans retaining that trait, both the Equatorial and Ondirian Jackolans are able to interbreed with humans and the like. It orbits twin red dwarf stars, had 2 moons (one of which is a swampy oasis and the other a cold desert), and shares its stars with a barren, salt world called Celiscilla. Celiscilla: Basically a giant salt flat. Like, literally a giant salt flat. The planet supposedly had “Salt witches”, according to questionable writings, but no one knows what lived there. All that remains are some destroyed temples and the imprints of what look like oceans. Shares its stars with Jackola.  Dorian Minor: A mysterious, dusty world located in wild space towards the galactic southeast. Covered in large mountains, never ending fog, and a humid atmosphere, the world is eerie and crawls with deadly insects and reptiles. The natives, who share DNA with the Tognath & Kel Dor, feed of those said insects, with give them their venomous bite. The planet is located in a system nearby a large black hole cluster, making visitation difficult. Nevertheless, it was used as a refinery world by smugglers during times when access to the core worlds were difficult. Not much else is known.  Pongo: Located nearby Dorian Minor, on the other side of the aformentioned black hole cluster. The planet is shrouded in dense rainforest, mangrove-like swamps, and murky bogs. The natives of the planet are basically slightly larger, usually force-sensetive orangutans with long ass lifespans. Has 3 moons.  Ondir:  Similar to Jackola, but a lot more calm. Located towards the southwestern part of the unknown regions. A colony of Togruta’s and Equatorial Jackolans live on the planets scattered islands. Generations of interbreeding and having been left alone have resulted in few pure members of one species or the other, resulting in the subspecies Ondirian Jackolan and Ondirian Togruta alike. The gist of it is, if they look more like a Jackolan, they’re an Ondirian Jackolan, and if they look more Togruta, they’re an Ondirian Togruta. The planet orbits twin main sequence stars and has 1 normal moon, a rather pleasant but barren world, and 2 asteroids for moons.  Atoll: An extra-galactic world beyond the southwestern most edge of the unknown regions, this world is a warm, tranquil one, covered in black sand beaches, tropical islands, brackish oceans, and, of course, Atolls. The native species are essentially sentient marine iguanas that walk upright, with the women looking far more humanoid than the males. The women are often compared to the Falleen species and are considered very attractive. Despite their reptilian ancestry, they reproduce like mammals. The planet orbits a single main sequence star, possesses rings, and has 2 moons.  Ilsis: Ilsis is a cool (temperature-wise) world covered in brackish oceans that separate the 3 main continents, with scattered islands here and there. The beaches of these continents are large marshes, whereas the inland territory is largely made up mudflats, peat bogs, and what are essentially mangrove forests. The native species are humanoid amphibians, possessing many salamander-like features and reproducing in a way thats almost like a combination between a seahorse and a frog. The planet also has rings and 1 moon. This planet shares its twin red dwarf stars with the garden world of Brodo Agosi, otherwise known as the Green Planet, and is the home of ET’s species.  Marilu: Marilu is a cold world made up of 4 main continents, separated by saltwater oceans. The cliffy coastlines have been transformed into cities, with factories that use the oceans to power the production of large quantities of food that is then sold out to the galaxy. The inland territory is largely unindustrialized, covered in peat bogs and plains. Most of this area is inhabited sparsely by farmers, along with the occasional wanted fugitive. The native species are regarded as some of the most beautiful in the galaxy, with their dark eyes, dark blue-grey or blue-green skin thats smooth to the touch and speckled with a pattern of blackish dots unique to the individual, and naturally long legs, the Mariluans descended from amphibious predators who hunted like big cats on the planets plains and in their bogs. They’re able to interbreed with humans, and the hybrids are often also considered very beautiful.  Artists who would like to draw these planets or any of my ocs, feel free to dm me about it and I'll gladly explain to you the idea. I don’t have the money to spend on this, tho, so yeah. with planets, however, you could just do them and post them, tagging me in the post. with the characters I'd prefer you to talk to me.

She moved to New York after high school to attend drama classes at NYU and to pursue her dream career on Broadway.

Ray and Willow meet following the events of Ghostbusters II.

Willow knows Cathleen because they did a show together before the latter got pregnant and had to take leave.

Cathleen introduced the two of them when Willow came to meet baby Marie.

You know that scene at the beginning of HTTYD when Hiccup just looks at Astrid with the definition of heart eyes? That's what Ray is like from the moment Willow walks into his life.

Cathleen, being who she is, immediately sets the two of them up on a date.

It turns out that, in addition to her love of theater, Willow is very much fixated on the paranormal and supernatural like Ray.

Their courtship is very much a whirlwind, and they're engaged after six months of dating.

Cathleen is able to plan their wedding in three months.

Like Winston and Tiyah's wedding, Ray and Willow's wedding is interrupted by New York being thrown into paranormal distress AGAIN, but it is thankfully resolved (but not before they lose the reception hall and move the reception to the firehouse).

A couple of years later, Willow becomes pregnant.

Ray is just over the moon excited, and immediately throws himself to the role of being a father.

The baby is a girl that they name Addison Eleanor Stantz.

Sadly, in the months following Addison's birth came Egon and Cathleen's falling out with the Ghostbusters.

It got to the point that Willow and Cathleen had a physical altercation when Cathleen accused Willow of not believing Egon about Gozer's return.

Both Ray and Willow try to help each other heal after their friends' betrayal, and eventually welcome two more daughters-- Natalie Louise and an adoptive daughter, Grace Olivia.

Addison picks up on her parents' resentment, and holds a grudge of her own towards the Spenglers.

However, Natalie shows great interest in her father's past role as a Ghostbuster.

Following the events of Afterlife, while Willow is willing to admit her mistake in not believing Egon, she and Ray still hold resentment towards Cathleen for leaving them behind.

Sure! I totally welcome any and all questions about any ocs ( some are very under developed so i don’t always have answers is all My Supernatural ocs) even the ones that aren’t on the main muse list. That’s more like...the ones I’m currently doing the most plotting for/thinking of more.

As for my Glee ocs.

I have Riley Shuester. She’s Will’s younger sister ( she was born when he was halfway to almost out of HS) She was more or less raised by her  brother and also hated Sue’s coaching so much she quit the Cherios a year after joining. I don’t have much planned for her past she hates it when people ask if she’s Will’s daughter instead of sister because of the age difference and slaps Sam across the face for disregarding Ryder’s abuse in Lights Out ( she doesn’t like hate the kid or anything so much as she’s just “you can’t think like that/react like that. that’s horrible. you have a little brother ffs” and reams him and the other boys out for their reaction but Sam the most because of her expecting better from him) 

There are some Messy Circumstances that lead to her having to have been raised by her brother so she has issues specially when it comes to expressing her feelings but she tries her best and I love her.

I have Natalia Puckerman who is Jake’s twin and took martial arts classes to make sure no one hassled him for taking ballet. She’s super close to her brother ( and becomes close to Puck after meeting him) I also don’t have a lot plotted for her but I do know her main thing in Glee is dancing ( as opposed to singing) and I really wanna focus on what it’s like for both Puck and Jake  ( and of course Natalia) to find out your deadbeat father might have left you something good in a half sibling/add to and explore  the Jake and  Puck dynamic. Her frist words to Puck are “our dad’s an asshole. I fucking hate him.” and Puck....more or less adopts her from then on.

Marilu Gomez was just me wanting to complain about how  bad the public school system is lol but also wanting someone who could brotp with some of the non horrible so notSue/the creepy coach/the principal teachers in Lima and also a latine character that wasn’t a mean girl stereotype ( same could be said with Natalia tbh) She replaces Will as a spanish teacher and  is mostly just Very Tired of Sue’s dramatics and the lack of funding in the school. She also tries to look out for the minority students specially the ESL ones. 

other less developed ideas are a Santana sister ( Cierra Ramirez), a Finn sister ( Sabrina Carpenter) and a drummer for the band ( Sean Berdy) as well as maybe some more band students because I feel like that side of the show is pretty  unexplored and sorta wanna play  there.
