George only makes the mistake of asking Jenson Button about the FIA teammate mandated meld once.

“I don’t know what to tell you, mate, shit’s weird, you know?” Jenson’s hair is very blond in the sun, not as light as Rosberg’s, but still. Blond. George wonders what he would look like with blond hair, doubting it would give him any of Jenson’s honey smooth confidence or Sebastian’s blunt ease, he’d still be as lanky and tall and all bones. Being blond wouldn’t tell him what to do with his hands in photos. Probably.

“Always forget lower levels don’t have to do it,” Jenson continues, as if he has been in Formula One for a century or two. “It’s like, okay, you’ve got all this space, right? In your head, you don’t even notice it, but then, they go in and shove some other prick in and suddenly, you’ve still got the same amount of space but it’s like you know about it now.” He smiles. “And what the other guy does with his space is up to him, isn’t it? That’s the shit part.”

Jenson throws a tanned arm around George’s shoulders. This close, he smells like a man, sweat and deodorant and petrol. “Bit like sex, actually, now that I think about it, how’s that for a metaphor, eh?”

George should have just shook his hand and thanked him for popping down before the F2 race, as he imagines all the other drivers his age did. Now, he is stuck in his heavy race suit, sun beaming outside, thinking about sex and sex with teammates and drivers who have been Jenson’s teammate.

Love stories you got it- I met my partner on tumblr, she was a mutual of mutuals and I ended up following her bc she always left the most wonderful tags on my art that made me blush. I ended up commenting under her posts one day and we started dm-ing. I wrote my first ever fic in her DMs, and I spoke to her most days.

We didn’t end up dating for 3 years though, because I was deeply oblivious that she was even interested in me, or men, until the day after AD21 when I was in such a state she offered to watch anything I wanted with me to take my mind off it. Half way through a season of tiger king I finally realised she might be more interested in me than I’d considered, and I asked her out the next day. We’ve been dating for almost 4 years now

writing this from bed because sleepy MARK RUSSILTON. MARK BRITCEDES GEWIS RUSSILTON. OH MAN. one thing thing i love about you…..there's so many things i could say but i gotta keep it to Just One! I think one thing I really love about you is that you're a compassionate person. And I think it's just easy to say that. But I really do feel like you go out of your way to be understanding and patient with people. I always feel like when we have a conversation about something that is bothering me/someone else, you always try to be critical without being cruel. And I find that you can be understanding about “the other side” without isolating me/the party rambling to you.  We've personally had a lot of conversations about tough things and I've always come out feeling like there's no hard feelings (both about the subject matter and each other). It's very nice. 

I know a lot of people who appreciate that you'll listen to them ramble and you'll always share their same energy and enthusiasm back. It's really hard to find people that won't shame others for an interest they have and will celebrate whatever creative path they choose (I mean sometimes at your pain and suffering #synthsrusstappenarc).   The way you're that person for a lot of people is super admirable. And I hope we can all reciprocate that energy for you and your love for britcedes (*´ω｀*)

Hi Mark!! 💚 I've included some extra pics of Molly from much better angles than my previous post so you can actually see what she looks like.

Molly's a mixed-breed terrier! Her Mum was a Glen of Imaal which is a rare Irish breed (also known as a Wicklow Terrier, as the Glen of Imaal is in County Wicklow in Ireland). Because Glen's are so rare, if you want to breed Glen puppies there's a lot of extra paperwork you have to go through - and while the owners of Molly's Mum were waiting for all this to get approved a neighbours dog who was a Border Terrier-Patterdale cross jumped over the garden fence and did the business first. So that's how Molly's litter came about 😅

So because she's three different kinds of terrier Molly is unbelievably stubborn, we got her in 2011 and she turned 13 back in August (though, without trying to get into too much detail in case I start crying again, she's been a bit unwell recently and the past couple of weeks have been a bit rough emotionally).

She's a very sweet dog though, and will happily be everyone's best friend and will happily accept pets and cuddles (and copious amounts of dog treats). She is just a wonderful scruffy little princess 👑
