I’m SURE I’ve talked about these before but they’re my favorites so I’ll say them again

Asmo has a scorpion tail instead of bat wings!!

Asmo has lots of creepy crawly pets like scorpions and tarantulas and he thinks they’re sooooo cute. They’re all named like Honey or Cupcake or Pinky and they’re his darling babies, DON’T insult them if you value your life

Asmo honestly prefers being a demon rather than an angel, and he settled into demon life the quickest out of all his brothers. He liked the sunshine and rainbows and pretty things in the Celestial Realm, but after a few hundred years as a demon he realized everything else felt too restrictive for him

After Lilith died and the brothers rebelled, Ris betrayed them and sided with the Celestial Realm, and Asmo and Ris had to fight each other 😱 Ris eventually won and cast Asmodeus out of heaven (sidenote I headcanon that they fell in order from youngest to oldest, so Belphie fell first and Luci fell last)

The two never forget each others faces during that moment, Asmo tearfully looking up at Ris as his wings disintegrate, and Ris looking down at Asmo as he falls, their face full of confusion and regret

That’s why, when Ris first joins the exchange program, they actually rather dislike each other!! Ris expected Asmo to welcome them with open arms, which she didn’t, and Asmo expected Ris to run and beg for forgiveness, which they didn’t. So the two have this strange little rivalry during season 1

Season 2 they actually start to become friends, they hang out with each other of their own accord way more, and towards the very end of s2 they start to develop ✨feelings✨

Season 3 is basically them pining and yearning for each other, and season 4? iiiii haven’t gotten that far in the game yet but we’ll see heheh (let’s be real they probably kiss a lot)

I haven't actually seen the tumblr sexyman poll, but apparently Cecil from welcome to night vale is winning and people are mad about because they don't know him, and like, to explain how big of an impact wtnv had on my life, my African gray, my lifelong companion, is named Cecil.

Like, particularly for people who were young at the time, coming into a story and expecting some kind of fun sort of horror and running into a queer character, who was unabashedly queer without note or comment was an emotional experience that defined some part of me.

Welcome to Night Vale & Alice Isn't Dead were both phenomenal queer media, and have had an impact on a very broad section of youth, particularly queer youth and those drawn to tumblr.

Anyways #cecilsweep both Cecil the radio host and Cecil the parrot deserve it.

I unfortunately do not have fanfic recs because I don't read them, however I do have a recommendation in the form of another podcast made by the same guy as malevolent called Deviser, it's only 7 episodes long and It's incredibly good tbh.

Anyway,have fun with the podcasts, you're getting closer and closer to the part where I can't follow lol

4 days until I move in with my partner and away from my family! Today I have to finish packing, hopefully get the boxes weighed and measured so I can get the shipping labels made, and I also need to move my chinchilla to his transport cage and take apart his huge 110lbs, almost 6ft tall, $300 Critter Nation cage so I can put it back in the box and send it off with the transporter when she comes to get him tomorrow. I've asked a friend to come help but it is pouring today so we will see.
