“Right, we need x amount of of this particular party food for the vegetarians and vegans that may join the party, we can’t be leaving them out,” Mark mumbles to himself, scribbling on a piece of paper that you assumed to be a list. 

A party that you dropped on Mark around your friends a few weeks ago, proposing that you’ll have a Christmas party at your place. And now Mark was stuck organising it because he wants you to be happy but you were being less than helpful. 

Hanging over him, you’re playing with his brunette locks, braiding them before letting them loose, paying more attention to that than the actual task of planning. 

“Baby, are you going to help me plan your party or not?” his voice sharpens the second your lips connect to his lips, fighting the pleasure in frustration that he doesn’t want to be planning this alone. 

“I am helping,” you giggle against his neck, pulling the pen out of his hand as you decide to take a seat on his lap facing away from him, picking up the pen to doodle in the corner of the piece of paper. 

Mark throws his head back in frustration, lifting you off of his lap as you pout at him, trying to stifle a little giggle at how he’s acting, you just wanted to be a little tease but he seriously wasn’t in the mood. 

Briefly looking at the piece of paper that barely had anything on it, he decides to leave it for now, looking at the box of decorations in the corner of the room, “I’m just going to start decorating instead”.

Picking up the box, he disappears into the living room and you follow behind slowly, a smirk plastered on your lips as you tried to be as quiet as possible, watching him go through the decorations and organise them into piles.

Once the piles were sorted, he looks into the corner of the room where it would be the perfect place to put the tree, tapping his head in confusion about where he had put the tree after the year before. 

“The tree’s in the attic,” you gently point out, taking a seat on the couch, out of the way as he goes to retrieve it, coming back with a bigger box not even five minutes later.

Just as he was about to set it up, you decide that it was a perfect idea to get in his way, stripping down to your strappy crop top and shorts pulled up to reveal the bottom of your ass cheeks, trying to deter his attention away from the tree.

“Will you stop getting in the way?” Mark sighs in frustration, gently picking you up to place you back onto the coach, but you pull on his shirt collar, pulling him to give him a kiss on the lips.

Happily, to return it, he smiled into the kiss, your lips gently colliding as he pulls away seconds later, leaving you to go back to sorting the tree, but you just weren’t liking how little attention you were getting.

Getting back up to your feet, you start going through the piles of decorations, picking them up and rushing to the tree to decorate it even though he has barely put it together.

“Baby, the tree isn’t even up yet, can you wait?” Mark giggles, finding it cute, thinking you were just getting excited to decorate as you rush ot grab a few more ornaments, getting in his way again.

Standing right in front of him as he attempts to put the rest of the tree together, you press yourself right up against him, wiggling your ass on his crotch as you bend over slightly to add the decoration to the tree.

Mark hisses, pulling away from you but you just insist on teasing him, trying to distract him from decorating. And it gets to the point where his patience was wearing thin with you.

The next time you attempted to tease him, brushing his semi-hard cock through his joggers, he grabs you by the throat, pulling you back against his body, hissing in your ear as he nips at your ear lobe, “You’re such a brat, you know that?”.

JYP Entertainment fails when it comes to solo artist

(Let me preface this by saying no hate to Nayeon, Jamie, the members of 2PM, or any other artist who’ve made solo debuts while under the company. This is 100% my own opinion and you are free to share your own, but let’s remain civil and kind <3)

In light of Nayeon’s solo debut, and her eventual first win with ‘Pop’, I felt that the song was pretty much a Twice song that she was singing alone.

Instead of branching out into a new style or genre to catch the attention of new and potential fans, I believe JYP played it safe by having Nayeon debut with a song that sounds like Twice so that Once, a fairly large and powerful fanbase, will already be behind her in terms of voting and streams. It’s an easy way of being successful without having to fight for new fan’s attention during a time where new artist are debuting every single day.

What about the other soloist? Well, considering the mismanagement done within JYP, the only thing to be said is that lack of promotions led to a dampening in the group’s overall fanbase so, once they went on to make their solo debuts, no one was actively invested.

2PM was once considered an iconic and influential group in kpop but, after years of inactivity that led to the members branching out into different fields such as acting, no one was excited for their music or seeking it.

The members of 15& are no longer under JYPE but, again, years of inactivity which led to their fanbase slowly taking away their attention from the group led to great solo debuts that received little to no attention. Even years of being away from performing on stage led people to call Jamie’s performances ‘awkward’.

Day6 is a bit more established in terms of fans but the company certainly has a bias when it comes to members, something addressed by former JYPE artist Eaj (Jae of Day6) who is doing well as a solo artist under a different label. As for the other members, their debuts had gone pretty much ignored by the media, Even of Day (Day6’s subunit consisting of Wonpil, Dowoon, and Young K) was cast aside despite being a solid and enjoyable album.

GOT7 is possibly the only group with each member having successful solo careers both prior to and after leaving the company. I feel that no explanation is necessary on this one.

I could also go into solo artist under the various sub-labels of JYPE but the gist remains that the only ones succeeding as solo artist are the ones JYP promotes heavily or the ones that have left the company for another.

I believe most of these solo artist would have a better chance as soloist if their group promotions were prioritized more during their heydays, when their fans were the most devoted and, for a company as large and affluent as JYP, it should be no problem. So why did they fail to do so?

The Teacher's Pet: Kim Yugyeom

You were so stressed out this week you didn't know which way was left and which way was right. You were exhausted and your appearance was starting to mirror how you felt. You had gotten pale, and your hair was starting to get a little crazy. Your assignments were keeping you so busy you fell asleep on your math textbook and woke up with the page stuck to your face! But finally, you felt like you were on top of everything. Every assignment had been handed in and every piece of scrap paper put in its proper place so with puffy eyes and your clothes hanging off you, you entered your History class. By the looks of the other students, they seemed to be just as tired dishevelled and sleep deprived as you. It made you feel less alone. You were just nodding off when the door opened and in walked Kim Yugyeom.

A hush fell over the class. He stuck out like a sore thumb! The whole class looked a mess! Exam stress had ravaged you guys to next to nothing and here Yugyeom was, not a hair out of place! His clothes neatly fit his body and with a face that almost glowed with energy and brightness! It was like Exam week had taken all your energy and zapped him with it!

He was carrying what you supposed was Mr P's laptop and mug which was full of steaming hot cofee and he neatly placed it on the desk waiting for it's owner to arrive. The smell wafted to your nostrils and gave you a little more life. You then watched groggily as Yugyeom placed a card and box of chocolates on the desk and sat down waiting for Mr P to arrive!

Sure enough the formidable teacher strode into the classroom, greeted Yugyeom cordially and sat down at his desk, "Thank you Yugyeom for helping me bring my supplies to class! Oh, and what's this?” He gestured towards the Chocolates and card! “You're spoiling me!"

You saw from the corner of your eye that Yugyeom beamed, blushed a little and sat up a little straighter. Mr P then scanned the class "you all look a wreck! How are you supposed to learn anything! Prepare to hand in your reports today. I'm not extending the deadline so do not bother asking!"

You groaned internally. Typical Yugyeom behaviour! Always giving gifts to teachers to say "thank you for being awesome and helping us to grow into the amazing people we'll become" you snorted.

The only thing Mr P gave you was stress, a headache and more homework than you could handle! At least the report he had asked you to do had been finished. You looked in your bag for the folder containing your essay and your heart dropped. You didn't have it with you! It must have gotten mixed up while you were at home! Today was the last deadline and if you failed to hand it in you'd lose a whole semester grade!

You felt like you were in a living nightmare!

Maybe if you pinched yourself then you would wake up with your math textbook stuck to your face again! But no. This was reality. This was happening right now and your whole life flashed past you eyes! You moved your hand more frantically in your bag uselessly praying  that your assignment would be there. But you were met with air passing through your fingertips whenever you swiped through your bag! You couldn't lie, and Mr P would NEVER accept an excuse. There was nothing else to do but bite the bullet. Slowly you raised a trembling hand. Mr P's head looked up from his laptop.

"Yes Yugyeom what's the matter" he said beaming. Your heart was beating fast...did he say Yugyeom? Did he just confuse you with his favourite student?

"Sir I think you have us confused with the other class. Our assignments aren't due in until next week."

Mr P looked at Yugyeom "Are you sure? I have it clearly marked here" he said looking at his diary.

"Sir, I wouldn't lie, I specifically remember you saying that it would be due in next week."

You looked at him eyes wide with disbelief.

Kim Yugyeom THE KIM YUGYEOM lying?! To the teacher?! Now you definitely were dreaming! For a minute Mr P looked down again at his diary. You felt sure he wasn't going to believe it.

But then he lifted his head and said "Very well. I'lI make the deadline next week. It could be that with all the essays due in I've written the wrong date down. It doesn't take much! Exam season doesn’t just affect the students you know!" He chuckled. You let out a breath you didn't know you'd been holding. And you weren't alone. It seemed whole class sighed with relief with you. When the bell rang for break you walked quickly out of the classroom.

You couldn't believe you’d escaped detention and an F-grade in history!

"You're welcome!” someone said as they passed you “Next time if you need me to cover you just ask." You looked up and saw Yugyeom's shiny backpack.

"Huh," you said to yourself. Yugyeom clearly wasn’t as squeaky clean and pure as the teachers thought!

Mark Tuan Releases MV "Far Away" and his first album.

Ahgases!!! Have you ever felt the pain of heartbreak because of a Breakup? Have you ever made promises to anyone, and they broke those promises? How are you doing? Mark Tuan released his first album "The Other Side" and a new music video called "Far Away." The hype for this album is real. Before I go on, make sure to watch the music video on the YouTube channel.

First and foremost, Mark Tuan is a member of GOT7. GOT7 is a 7 member group, that was formerly under JYP, that debuted on January 2014 with "Girls Girls Girls." Even though every members parted ways with JYP, does not mean that they are no longer together. It's quite the opposite, GOT7 are still together, but every members signed a contract with different agencies. They actually released an album called "GOT7" on May 8, 2022, with an MV called "NANANA." Make sure to check it out.

Anyways back to Mark's new album. Mark signed under Creative Artists Agency, and ever since then he's been releasing amazing music videos. The music video starts off with Mark looking at the polaroid that he and his former lover took. The song itself talks about the deception of someone you trusted, where you can no longer go back to the person. I mean I "guess we'll never really know what it could have been" (Mark Tuan Far Away 2022).

I personally have never been in a relationship at all, but this song feels like it could be related to any sort of friendship as well. I mean it hurts when you trust someone so well, made all these promises, only for them to turn their back away from you. I'm pretty sure we've all given that person one last chance, but the trust is never fully there.

I have personally been a fan of GOT7 since their debut, and seeing how far they have come until now, and doing their own things and personally growing makes me happy that I almost cried. Can't wait to see more music they put together as a group and as a solo artist. Don't forget to check out the new album available on Spotify as well. Mark: Mark’s love language is either words of affirmation and/or quality time spent together. He’d always have something so loving to say about you, anything and everuthing about you that he loves?You’ll know and he’d appriciate it if you even did it back to him. Quality time spent together would be important to him, making every minute count.  

Jaebum: Jaebum’s love language would be either gift giving and/or acts of service. He’d love to spoil you, even randomly just to show his love and to keep you happy, and with acts of service, he’d also do just that. He’d want to always make sure that you’re happy with him and in yourself.

Though he would be very verbal about how much he loves you and all, touch is a big deal to him. Even if it’s a little kiss on the cheek or holding pinky fingers, he’s all for it.
