Prompt from ChaosGremlinEsquire: Mark/Wayu My Prompt: During the early part of season 1 when Wayu is still doing very poorly after Pha left him, Mark worried enough he felt the need to temporarily move into Wayu's dorm to take care of him, make sure he's eating, etc. Wayu really scared him. It entirely eclipses Mark's recent crush on Kit. At some point, Wayu and Mark get closer than ever before, and Mark starts falling for his friend. Wayu reciprocates.

While I deeply love MarkKit, I can't lie, it kind of feels like if Kit and Mark break up, Mark and Wayu might eventually fall in love. Thoughts, anyone?

Look, I grew up on shows where the closest you got to a gay character was... nothing. Nothing at all. 

I, luckily, grew up a fannish household. My mom doesn’t read slash but she had friends who did. I got my first zine (yes, paper and printed and bound and it was for the TV show Sentinel, FYI) when I was 13 and posted DBZ fic on FF.NET before the porn ban.

I do love non-canon ships, though I’ll admit that BL has spoiled me a bit in terms of typically enjoying canon ships. But there’s definitely great joy in non-canon ships!

Ooo, RamDuen is interesting because I could definitely seem RamDuenKing as an interesting little threesome with Duen being asexual and sex-repulsed and basically enjoying the domestic side of a relationship without any pressure for anything (he could cook and take care of the house and occasionally cuddle and otherwise just enjoy having a life with people he loves) and that is really nice.

I do enjoy these alterna-ships, though I don’t always look for them.

I also liked PureWaan, honestly. I know I am literally the only MGaYG fan who doesn’t love PureFolk... but I am that one person. I just never got into them! PureWaan seemed like such a fun little supportive couple that could be very interesting in terms of character growth and support.

Oh, MarkKitWayu is still one of my favorite ideas that I’ve seen done.

.... Why, yes, my typical solution is to just turn everything into a three-way relationship. I think it works, okay?

But, yes! Non-canon ships, alterna-ships, fanfic ships... I can come up with a thousand names for these and think they’re awesome! :D

Also, PiNan will probably amuse me for the entirety of FUTS.

I've been rewatching Gen Y, and skipping through all the crap, and I gotta say, the second time through, this is a lovely drama.

Mark Kit = relationship goals

Mark Wayu = friendship goals

Everything else... didn't see it, so it never happened
