That being said, hey look! It’s the art collective that mindtheglow and I are co-founders of! Granted, Marshmallow Dumpling is definitely geared more towards cute things and anime conventions, we still like the fact that we can operate under one umbrella.

We have some fantastic friends (who also have their own individual enterprises) so we figured we could all get together and be a unified representation at conventions.

We just wrapped up with our first con, Animazement, this past weekend and it was fantastic. I am so inspired and in awe of the talented individuals I was able to meet~

M.D. Studios in Action at Animazement 2015

Good afternoon, followers! The five of us at Marshmallow Dumpling have finally recovered from the studio collective’s official first con, Animazement 2015 in Raleigh, NC. It was a resounding success, and we met tons of fantastic fans of our work, as well as some dazzlingly talented artists at the other tables! I managed to snap a few photos of us, mostly while setting up, so you can see how we looked and some of our wares from the event. 

I’ll be selling some of our prints, including some new, exclusive ones (ooh, so fancy!) at NC Comicon in Raleigh this winter, and possibly some of our stickers and other goodies. We’ll have to see how the stars align- if you know of any along the East Coast, let us know!
